Had a decentl little shrimp basket for $9. Including five golden shrimp and French fries to boot! Best Cole slaw in town. Ice cold beers

Came to see the band (Got caught looking), decent food and affordable prices. Liked the small towns feel. Bit of a haul from home

Place is fun. I had a great time here very comfortable atmosphere. Bartenders are friendly with a good sense of humor.

I had the best experience at Arrowhead Ales Brewing in New Lenox this week! From the moment we…read morewalked in the energy was so welcoming and worth the wait. Moya, the host, was incredibly sweet and so apologetic about the wait for a table--which honestly flew by because you could tell how well the place was being run. Once we sat down, our server Luke took amazing care of us. He was personable, attentive, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and fun. The food... WOW. Truly phenomenal. I had the Nashville wrap and my brother had the meatloaf. Everything was cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes and green beans that came with it were just as delicious--comfort food done right. What really stood out was how much the team cared--Kelly, the GM, even came by to check in and make sure everything was perfect, which says so much about the level of service here. Despite how busy it was, service never skipped a beat. That's rare. Also, the patio is such a vibe! I already can't wait to come back in the summer and hang out there. If you're anywhere near New Lenox, this place is a must-visit. Amazing food, incredible staff, and such a great atmosphere. This place is really something special!

Arrowhead Ales is a huge establishment that features your standard "pub fare" with the typical…read moreoffering of house-made beers. They also feature a full bar if you're looking for a refreshment besides beer. It occupies the end of a strip mall on the outskirts of southwestern suburban New Lenox, and we were with another couple looking for a new place to try with some locally made craft beer. The space is loud, and open, and also features a huge patio where they host live entertainment. This isn't the spot for a quaint night out with that special someone, so be prepared for a boisterous atmosphere with adults and kids alike. The food was all pretty good - overall - but nothing stood out. The service was slow. We were dining with friends, and weren't in any rush, but it took a long time to get food and drinks. We began ordering our beers two at a time because of the time it took to get them. That being written, the food arrived hot, so as long as you're not in a hurry... My wife ordered a Shrimp Boil - which was on special - and it was best dish out of the four we sampled. I was drinking the Wooden Chapel Schwarzbier and the others in my party were enjoying the New Lenox Pilsner and the Odessa Mexican style lager. All the beers were good, but again, none of them blew our minds. If we lived closer to Arrowhead, we would probably return for a visit, but it was about a 45 minute dive for us, and just didn't impress enough to come back. I'm sure it's a popular spot with locals. For me, personally, there are far too many similar places with better food and beer that are much closer to our home.

No trouble getting a table but the bar area was pretty full. Our server was fast and professional. She nailed everyone's drink and food orders with no issues. Food came out fast and hot as well. Tough to do with 10 people at a table. I ordered the Honey Glazed chicken. It was pretty good but the chicken had a few chewy spots. Flavor was great though. The glaze was sweet but not overpowering. 2nd night I ordered the Parmesan chicken. That chicken was great but o didn't care for the pasta it was served on. Flavor was good but just not my thing. Service was great both nights. Pricing is fair as well. Recommend if you're in the area and looking for something different than your typical nationwide chain.

Service was slow -- to non existent -- at best. We ordered two saganashkees that were bland, with little to no crust. The server said he has never served two at once before, so I guess we loose. I ordered the Poke. It too was bland and some of the tuna was hard!! Yes, hard!! The serving included a dollop of guacamole that had no business on the plate, in my opinion. Chunks of avocado, that I thought I was getting, fine, but not a traditional guacamole. Not good. Three of the four persons at our table ordered burgers and were all equally disappointing. It seemed like the burgers were diced up like it we to get used like in chili. But then, there tried to make a hamburger out of it!! Really weird. The taste was good, but unmanageable as a hamburger. One of the persons at our table ordered a shrimp appetizer. He said it was "ok". This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is quite comfortable and the beer is okay. But, that's all it has going for it. Our previous visit a few years ago was much more enjoyable. We see no reason to return.
