    This is their bloody advertisement

went for a fully-loaded Bloody Mary and received a watered down drink, with a dry chicken tender, undercooked onion ring and cheese stick, skewered with a hard pretzel log and two mini sliders. the sliders were decent and waitress was great. our food took a while for a slow day. they do have an outdoor patio area, bu the overall atmosphere lacks substance. I wouldn't go back or recommend.

I have been wanting to stop in this place...pass it weekly on my way to my mothers place. Here on a Saturday nite ordered my wife a cranberry pomegranate martini and myself a caramel apple Moscow Mule. Both drinks were great 9 and 8 dollars respectively. They do not have food but we were able to order from a local Chinese restaurant literally around the corner...that delivers. Tonight they had $2 domestic and $3 on carbonated liquor drinks. They have 10 domestic 7 imported seltzer and premium drinks. 9 red wines and 6 whites. Plenty of parking come check it out.

I love midtown! I've gone there twice now and the food is so good. The first time I went I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and fries. Service was kind of slow but understandable because they are extremely short staffed. Second time I went, I got bbq & Parmesan garlic wings and mozzarella sticks. So good literally my favorite wings in the area! Will definitely come back here many times.

Found a nickel in the bottom of my ranch. Not sure how that happens but it did. Service is slow too.

Got food to go. Very small portion for the cost. Short staffed. Chilis would have been better.

Friends! You have to stop in and have a meal at this very nice spot!…read more It has been in Mokena, IL for 2 years. We went early afternoon on a weekday, so there was no wait, and the place was almost empty. The water came in an adorable carafe, with 6 oz "shot glasses". I found it to be so cute! And it was just enough water for sipping. It was iced cold. I believe we were just thirst and drank it all, lol. Free to the table- House Chips and Salsa. Simple and straight to the point. Ok, to the good stuff! Starters/App: We ordered a "Salsa Flight". It is just what it sounds like, a flight of assorted salsas. There were 6. Great for sharing, not big portions. It ranged from sweet, smokey, fruity, savory, to spicy baby! Of course it came with tortilla chips. So, so good! We also ordered Birria Egg Rolls. Friends!!! Delightfully yummers! Crisp on the outside, cheesy and meaty inside. The cooks were creating magical bites for me this day. lol Very good bites. I ordered a Pina-Colada Margarita. This sip was DELICIOUSNESS. Omg! Like....fresh, and powerful, yet well balanced. TASTY SIPS FRIENDS! I ordered what was like a Taco/loaded steak potato with all the trimmings (cheese, steak pico, sour cream). That is what came on it. There were other option of meats. Because I was so focused, I don't even recall what my date ate. HA! But I will say that my potato was not the best. It was over and under cooked. You are probably wondering like "HOW IS THAT"? Well, the potato was not cooked all the way through(hard pieces), but it was burnt at the bottom of the potato (images to come). That was disappointing. The starters/apps were so tasty, I ended up not finishing the potato, but I was saddened that they served the potato knowing the shape it was in. The meat and cheese and such couldn't even hide it once you moved the toppings to the side. Now, don't let my unhappy potato stop you from checking this place out. I am looking forward to bring my family back, and a few friends. If off sips and chips alone, its a place to get familiar with. Finally had a chance, and I will return. As always, you don't have to take my word for it, go get you some!

Meh. Average suburban Mexican food…read more My mom had an appointment in the area so we stopped in for a quick bite, mostly to kill time. This restaurant was close, so it fit the bill. It was a weekday afternoon, so there weren't many patrons dining in when we arrived. The host greeted us warmly and chose a seat near the front window. I believe our waitress was also the bartender. She was friendly and attentive. I had the chicken tinga and steak tacos. My mom just had a single ground beef taco. The tacos were okay. The food was decent, but I can't say that it was memorable or something I'd want to eat again. It definitely wasn't authentic or anything close to what you'd be served in Mexico, Pilsen, or Back of the Yards. The restaurant was clean and cozy though. The service was also excellent, so that was a plus. Maybe stop in for a drink or the chips and guac instead of the food. The bill was about $32 plus tip ($10).

Emancipation is a brewery not a lot of people have heard of because it's not close to anything of course. Has a surprising amount of variety on tap and in cans to go. They may not have a whole lot but everything is full of flavor and quenches one's thirst. Even with it being a smaller brewery it still has quite a lot. It's got several of their own beers on tap along with a few others. There's also more cans in a refrigerator. Has the basics along with a few interesting ones. More than just the IPAs and the usual. It's about $7 a pint. The Farmer's Favorite is the IPA and is a pretty good medium one that's crisp and smooth. Has a few things to snack on here. It's about $3 for the Krack Mix. Basically like Chex Mix but it's made locally. They also will let you bring in stuff. Great place that's pretty hard to find the first time going here. It's located on N. 2500 East Rd. a few miles north of Fairbury surrounded by corn fields pretty much. They're closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

Moya, the host, was incredibly sweet and so apologetic about the wait for a table--which honestly flew by because you could tell how well the place was being run. Once we sat down, our server Luke took amazing care of us. He was personable, attentive, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and fun. The food... WOW. Truly phenomenal. I had the Nashville wrap and my brother had the meatloaf. Everything was cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes and green beans that came with it were just as delicious--comfort food done right. What really stood out was how much the team cared--Kelly, the GM, even came by to check in and make sure everything was perfect, which says so much about the level of service here. Despite how busy it was, service never skipped a beat. That's rare. Also, the patio is such a vibe! I already can't wait to come back in the summer and hang out there.
