The…read morebathrooms are at the back and off to the side, there is a very large room looking like it's for catered parties or large parties connected is the barrel room which serves breakfast. We sat at the bar and the bartender is super attentive 1 o'clock in the afternoon on a Thursday and it's not very busy The music is decent not too loud. There are a lot of TVs. We ordered Reuben combo with pastrami and corned beef with a side of macaroni and cheese and we also ordered a side of the cornbread casserole just because it's something unique and different to try. As for the sandwich we both enjoyed it although it's a little smoky Mac & cheese is okay. It definitely could use green onions on top to dress it And the cornbread casserole is a homemade cornbread that's soft with like a kind of cream filling and loaded with corn it was my least favorite We also ordered a couple old-fashioned. I don't like that they have the little ice cubes, butdrinks are tasty.

I expected the portabello to be cooked and maybe the seasonal veggies, but it was so wet everything seemed soggy. The French onion soup was waaayyyy too salty. My dining partner ordered a prime rib sandwich and our server asked how he wanted it cooked. He answered "medium rare" but when he received it the meat was well done. He wound up dipping it in my remaining soup to combat the dryness. Our server was very pleasant and refilled our drinks without needing to track her down. I liked the atmosphere and if I am back in the area would go back to watch football as they have plenty of tvs.

PJ's Pub is where to get cold drinks, and if you're lucky there's frozen pizzas. A place that looks like someone's backyard bar. The prices are pretty cheap at least. Basically it's a neighborhood bar. It's close to a lot of things in the so called downtown. The bar is located along some kind of back street with a sketchy looking parking lot. Inside it's not much better. The good thing is they have tons of beers, including a few that are on tap. It's about $4 for a basic cocktail. We got some and these were pretty watery. Food is nonexistent except for bags of chips for about $1 or so. They also apparently have frozen pizzas, but last time they were out of these. Has a few TVs for watching games. The bar is pretty close to houses so there's been lots of noise complaints of patrons. For a bar in a small town like this, it's pretty okay compared to others around it. It's located on Ladd at Madison. They're open every day and early, so customers can have fun in the morning or something.
