We ordered Reuben combo with pastrami and corned beef with a side of macaroni and cheese and we also ordered a side of the cornbread casserole just because it's something unique and different to try. As for the sandwich we both enjoyed it although it's a little smoky Mac & cheese is okay. It definitely could use green onions on top to dress it And the cornbread casserole is a homemade cornbread that's soft with like a kind of cream filling and loaded with corn it was my least favorite We also ordered a couple old-fashioned. I don't like that they have the little ice cubes, butdrinks are tasty.

Tough to do with 10 people at a table. I ordered the Honey Glazed chicken. It was pretty good but the chicken had a few chewy spots. Flavor was great though. The glaze was sweet but not overpowering. 2nd night I ordered the Parmesan chicken. That chicken was great but o didn't care for the pasta it was served on. Flavor was good but just not my thing. Service was great both nights. Pricing is fair as well. Recommend if you're in the area and looking for something different than your typical nationwide chain.

It seemed like the burgers were diced up like it we to get used like in chili. But then, there tried to make a hamburger out of it!! Really weird. The taste was good, but unmanageable as a hamburger. One of the persons at our table ordered a shrimp appetizer. He said it was "ok". This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is quite comfortable and the beer is okay. Basically it's a neighborhood bar. It's close to a lot of things in the so called downtown. The bar is located along some kind of back street with a sketchy looking parking lot. Inside it's not much better. The good thing is they have tons of beers, including a few that are on tap. It's about $4 for a basic cocktail. We got some and these were pretty watery. Food is nonexistent except for bags of chips for about $1 or so. They also apparently have frozen pizzas, but last time they were out of these. Has a few TVs for watching games. The bar is pretty close to houses so there's been lots of noise complaints of patrons. For a bar in a small town like this, it's pretty okay compared to others around it. It's located on Ladd at Madison. They're open every day and early, so customers can have fun in the morning or something.

Family is key to me…read more 9 times out of 10, when I find a place that is run by family, I return again and again. This place is one those great spots. I have to start by saying that the people behind the bar and behind the grill always deliver. Friday nights can get a bit crazy (in a good way). This is mostly due to the amazing fish fry. Their fish fry puts all others within a 100 mile radius to shame. The walleye is no doubt my favorite. During the rest of the week the burgers, beef, and chicken sandwiches are a must. The bartenders are always friendly, always attentive, and always make a great drink. They have HappyHour here and the specials change by the month. Slot machines, pool tables, darts, horse shoes, juke box, and a great back patio to relax in the sun can be found here. There's a really fantastic diverse crowd whenever I've gone. A Dr having a conversation with an iron worker about life is not uncommon here. I always feel like part of the family when I visit this place, and I'm fairly certain you will too. Cheers!
