Built omelet, rye toast, pierogi's and banana French toast
    Christina D.

There's a few police vehicles outside, but unless you can arrest this place for great taste (in both food and decor) and friendly attentive service, it looks like they're just here to get a good meal like the rest of us. And with portion sizes this big at these prices, I'd be emotionally cuffed to this place too. We took a booth for two, my companion requesting a coffee (that was promptly topped off) and water (with ice and a straw in a mason cup) for myself, we took time looking over the menu, struggling to narrow things down. You have plenty choice of customizations, which I banked on when ordering my 3 egg omelet. I skipped the meat and cheese and went straight for veggie loading. This thing was jacked up with an impressive mount of salty black olives (no additional seasoning needed), caramel tinged onions and large slices of cooked mushroom. It was buttery without being drenched in the flavor, letting the ample egg fill my belly. I couldnt even manage to poke at my 3 extra large pierogies or my double slices of marbled rye with a butter sheen, which made it into a to go box. My companion got the pecan banana French toast. It came with decently sized bacon, in that sweet spot of crispy. The sweet level of the star itself was pleasureful without being cavity inducing. The thick bread wasn't overly eggy, rather buttery, layered with slices of banana between and on top. The caramel sauce had the right viscosity and quantity, holding the nuts. It was topped with whipped cream, a really solid showing. She tapped out about halfway through, also taking a to go box because this place does not play around (yet somehow manages to come off as playful all the same.) The leftovers will carry us the rest of the way on our long journey back home where we will mourn our lack of The Crack'd Egg, who are entirely what they are cracked up to be.

What an incredible meal. The server was amazing she recommended the Crackin' which gave us the opportunity to try their yummy pancakes and the delicious bacon, corn beef, and kielbasa. It was worth the travel from Beaver, PA there for brunch!

Looking for Eggs Benedict...? Stopped in for breakfast on Monday, around 11:00. Good music playing, we were seated immediately, and the server came right over with menus. We requested coffee's & ice waters. He gave us a few minutes to review the menu and brought our drinks. Kim ordered the Cracked Arnold ($9.99) and I ordered the Loaded Crack'd Fries ($6.99). The food came out nice & quick and was DELICIOUS! We would each order the same thing again... but their menu has lots more to offer.

I'm always looking for a fresh breakfast/brunch spot especially in Pittsburgh. While bottomless mimosas are really my thing, places like this still get the job done even when I can't live my limitless mimosa dream. The area where Crack'd Egg is located is super cute and quaint. The street in Brentwood has a small town, old-fashioned vibe with hints of modern culture with the GameStop across the street. We went on a Sunday late morning, and the wait time was approximately 20 minutes for two. There was a bit of line. When you walk in, the space is much larger than it appears from the outside. We were seated just under 20 minutes in the middle of the dining room. The noise level is quite moderate. Be careful of the floor, I almost slipped twice wearing my booties. The decor and atmosphere carries a comfy and homey vibe which is refreshing especially on a Sunday morning. I ordered the Spiced Pumpkin Coffee off their seasonal menu; the homemade cream was excellent! I savored it for the entirety of my meal. The menu is unique with the names of meals. For example, I ordered the Olive Oyl which is simply a tomato, spinach, mozzarella and olive omelette. It was good and made traditionally. My partner ordered the Steak and Eggs which he admitted needed A1 sauce. He still enjoyed it even though the flavor was slightly lacking. Overall, we found the food delicious even if needed a little more flavor. The staff was busy but very hospitable and helpful. The space and location are charming. Give this place a try for breakfast one morning; I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Great little place with indoor and sidewalk cafe dining. Unusual selection to chose from including ghost pepper omelets. Dog friendly (at least outside dining). Great tasting food at reasonable prices

I forgot to take a photo of the menu which I usually always do. :( Anyway, my son always wanted to try it here and we have lived literally a block down the road for almost 7 years yet this was our first visit this past Saturday morning. The only other time we have been here was when Mrs. Claus comes to the restaurant for the Brentwood Christmas festivities. The service here is just great - very attentive and friendly. I don't have a thing bad to say - we didn't have to ask for anything, he brought us everything we needed. I just wish we came sooner. The breakfast that my son got was the funfetti pancakes with sausage patties ($3.99). I had the 2 egg combo with sausage patties, fried potatoes, and toast ($6.99). My son had a large glass of orange juice which was pretty big compared to other diners - I was surprised. The coffee was delicious as I tend to judge breakfast places based on their coffee and breakfast meats. The meals were made just right (and came out at the appropriate time maybe only 15 minutes after we ordered) with the perfect portions that leave you satisfied and not overstuffed. The inside of the restaurant gives off a comfortable feel as if you are in your own dining room. There are a few tables to sit outside (and even water dishes for dogs!) - really cute home-y decor. I like the small tabletop trash cans for little trash items from sugar, milk, jelly etc - makes for a smooth cleanup for the staff. All of their prices were very reasonable. We often frequent First Watch but this restaurant is probably the nicest little diner in our community and I look forward to many more visits as I prefer to support locally. We really enjoyed our breakfast and even my 7 year old said - "this place is really cool."

This is what I receive after posting an honest review. Lol.

Now based on honest reviews am being harassed and threatened. The hypocrisy is laughable based on the reviews of the other user, and the lack of spine by commenting to me then blocking each time after. To be fair, I gave the restaurant a 3 star review as to not let this user affect it even more negatively.

If you're in the area, it's worth checking out. The decor is a mismatch of items. I feel like it's a personal and family type place. There is definitely some political statements on the shirts and merch which could be off putting to anyone on the opposite side of the view. I had a breakfast burrito. It was hot and big. I would prefer home made salsa rather than the store bought pre optioned pack. But not deducting points for that. I was full when I left and not unsatisfied

This was my first time here for breakfast. The food was fresh, the menu names creative and the server very personable! I knew it would be a good experience when our server just gave us four quarters for the parking meter and told us about the street behind the restaurant to park next time. The coffee was hot and not your typical water downed breakfast java. It was bold and delicious. They offer three different kinds of potatoes; cheesy, home fries and crispy potato pancakes. We had the latter two and they were both full of flavor. The toast options were more extensive than most as well. An added bonus included in the jelly selection orange marmalade and apple butter... again outside of the norm. I had the chicken and the egg. Two homemade chicken tenders smothered in a very yummy homemade gravy, two eggs (mine over medium for a little dippy action), home fries and two thick pieces of marble rye toast. My daughter had the Eastwood which was a stuffed omelet with all kinds of goodness. My only lack of five stars was the price. For two of us with tip $30 for breakfast. A bit steep. But you pay for the ambience and the quality food. Don't worry. I will be back! Well done!!! UPDATE I was here again a few times. Since my first visit I have eliminated carbs for the most part, in my life. I wanted an omelette but I did not care for the toast and potatoes (so many choices)! I asked to substitute a small side salad for the potatoes and toast.....they said yes for no extra charge!!! They have come through again. So if you are a KETO eater .... give em a try.

Stopped in for a quick B-fast to meet a friend who really liked the Crack'd Egg. Liked the service and friendliness of the staff. The menu has some creative takes on some old standbys. My Capri Benedict is two eggs on two thick sliced tomatoes with some Motz cheese, Hollandaise, and Balsamic Reduction and some great home fries. Really a nice B-fast.

For dinner, I switched it up from my usual filet and went with the Panko stacked chicken, really glad I did, it was a great choice. Bird stuck with her go to Braised Short Rib Pasta, although she mentioned it seemed a little "off" compared to how it usually is. I don't know what I'd do if the bar didn't have what I like. People who like regular draft and harder liquor, that's fine, to each their own, but I'll always have my light alcohol drinks! You will find Nikki as the usual bartender, and she's a very beautiful woman who loves to talk to people about whatever is on their mind. It's very comforting being able to get there so easily, as it's real close to where I live in my neighborhood and I dislike traveling out of town to a different bar, so I go to the Milestone more often than not. The restaurant itself is very nice looking, the prices feel reasonable for the quality of the food, and the service is often friendly, depending on the server, which makes it a comfortable spot to return to. That said, the sushi here is nothing special, and I wouldn't recommend ordering it. I love sushi and seafood in general, but at this location, the non sushi options are clearly stronger. I also suggest skipping dishes that combine vegetables with shrimp or scallops. In my experience, the seafood does not taste particularly fresh here, and that unfresh flavor ends up soaking into the sauce, which lowers the overall quality of the dishes for me. I have enjoyed the chicken and beef here, but overall this is a place where I avoid the seafood and lean heavily toward vegetarian dishes. I did try the vegetarian hibachi once and really enjoyed it, although the hibachi is a significant ten dollars more than most of their other dishes. As long as you avoid the sushi and some of the seafood dishes, there's a very high chance you'll really love what you order. Go for the garlic eggplant, green beans, vegetarian options, the hibachi, and this place really shines.
