It's a nice place inside of Great Wolf Lodge. A very simple menu. I kind of like the kids options more than the adult options. That's just my opinion. I had a cheeseburger. Asked for it to be well done. But nope. It was pink. More pink than I cared for. But ate half of it. I'm still alive. My husband got wings with sweet chili sauce. Grandson got Mac and cheese with French fries. Granddaughter got chicken tenders with fries. Very very pricey. But you pay for the place. Definitely not for the food. Our overall experience at Fireside was nice. And I do recommend because it's on property.

When we arrived at our reserved time, we stood at the front while the hosts whispered to each other, waved their hands around, and even covered their faces with a menu while talking--yet never greeted us. Why have hosts who can't even acknowledge arriving guests? Our server, seemed unenthusiastic. You would think that with how expensive it is to eat there, the food would at least be good--but it wasn't. We ordered the crispy smoked pork belly, which was pretty good, but everything after that went downhill. I got the buffalo chicken mac and cheese, and my boyfriend got the chili lime chicken bowl. Both were disappointing. I had barely any chicken, and the flavor reminded me of frozen buffalo chicken you'd heat up for Sunday night football. The mac and cheese was bland and tasted mostly like noodles and butter with a bit of ricotta, buffalo sauce, and a few small pieces of chicken. Also the onions on top tasted disgusting, the breading came off the second i ate it, and i ended up with soft pieces of onion in my mac and cheese. My boyfriend's bowl also had barely any chicken and was mostly just rice--you pay $23 for essentially a bowl of rice. I'm extremely unhappy with my experience at Fireside.. Everyone is eating in the same huge room that echos and all you hear is kids screaming. At the end of our dinner, when our server dropped off the checks, we realized why she might have seemed unenthusiastic and provided only mediocre service: an automatic 18% gratuity was already added. I feel like i just wasted an hour of my time along with 80 dollars

During this time the food and service has remained excellent and we have not been disapppointed with anything on the menu. The management is constantly improving the items on the menu. The quality of the food is impressive and above that which one would expect in a busy Sports Bar. The Salads are fabulous, especially the Arugula Salad and the Classic Caesar. The Grouper is tender and lightly breaded. They have a varity of different shrimp dishes, all are delicious. For a lighter fare the cheeseburgers are made to order and should not be passed up. The owner's meat balls and spaghetti dinner is a family recipe and is highly recommended. Not only is the food excellent, but so is the staff! They are attentive and will bend over backwards to assure you a wonderful evening. Even though the restaurant is popular and busy, the service is not impacted. As a sports bar there are a number of TV's for the clientele to watch various sports. We highly recommend Off the Rock for an enjoyable meal. Tom & Nancy W

We had just landed and stopped in for a quick meal, but it turned out to be anything but a typical Saturday night--the Bears vs. Packers game was on, and the place was absolutely packed. Even with kickoff still an hour away, the energy was already buzzing. We ended up waiting about 20 minutes for a table. Our server, Matt, was upfront and friendly, letting us know the kitchen was backed up and food would take a while. We were tired from traveling, so we kept it simple with iced tea. Matt checked in to let us know when our order was coming up, which we appreciated. I ordered the Rock Burger, but be aware: cheese is extra, and fries are extra. The burger itself was a thick, juicy patty with cheese--no lettuce or tomato, which I expected. The fries portion was pretty small, maybe a handful, room temp at best and was missing salt. (No salt on the table.) On the other hand, the brisket tacos were good, and swapping the tortillas for lettuce worked perfectly. Overall, it's a fun spot for game day, but be prepared for crowds, plenty of noise, higher prices--and some inconsistency in the food, especially during big rivalry nights. BTW, Bears Won! GO BEARS!!!
