First thing I want to share is if you are considering a meal here.... Be sure to make a reservation. It will save you time and a lot of confusion. Your welcome !! Now.... It's a nice place inside of Great Wolf Lodge. A very simple menu. I kind of like the kids options more than the adult options. That's just my opinion. I had a cheeseburger. Asked for it to be well done. But nope. It was pink. More pink than I cared for. But ate half of it. I'm still alive. My husband got wings with sweet chili sauce. Grandson got Mac and cheese with French fries. Granddaughter got chicken tenders with fries. Very very pricey. But you pay for the place. Definitely not for the food. My family and I were very unhappy with our choice to dine at Fireside. The place was practically empty, yet we still had to make a reservation. When we arrived at our reserved time, we stood at the front while the hosts whispered to each other, waved their hands around, and even covered their faces with a menu while talking--yet never greeted us. Why have hosts who can't even acknowledge arriving guests? Our server,seemed unenthusiastic. You would think that with how expensive it is to eat there, the food would at least be good--but it wasn't. We ordered the crispy smoked pork belly, which was pretty good, but everything after that went downhill. I got the buffalo chicken mac and cheese, and my boyfriend got the chili lime chicken bowl. Both were disappointing. I had barely any chicken, and the flavor reminded me of frozen buffalo chicken you'd heat up for Sunday night football. The mac and cheese was bland and tasted mostly like noodles and butter with a bit of ricotta, buffalo sauce, and a few small pieces of chicken. Also the onions on top tasted disgusting, the breading came off the second i ate it, and i ended up with soft pieces of onion in my mac and cheese. My boyfriend's bowl also had barely any chicken and was mostly just rice--you pay $23 for essentially a bowl of rice. I'm extremely unhappy with my experience at Fireside.. Everyone is eating in the same huge room that echos and all you hear is kids screaming. At the end of our dinner, when our server dropped off the checks, we realized why she might have seemed unenthusiastic and provided only mediocre service: an automatic 18% gratuity was already added. This place surprised me. The food was good. We ordered the bourbon salmon and Asian chicken salad. The kids meals were so/so... they didn't finish them. They ordered the chicken tenders and mac n cheese along with the cornbread. Ambiance is fun. Tents, fire places, lanterns, made you feel like you were at a real lodge. There was plenty of seating. Could accommodate larger parties too. Our servicer was Judy and she was friendly, attentive, and made recommendations on the firecracker shrimp which I hope to try next time. Drinks... I would recommend the blood orange mule. It was refreshing. The mango margarita was a little too syrupy. It tasted like a mix. read more

We tried the Fireside Restaurant during our stay at Great Wolf Lodge in Naples, and overall it was a bit disappointing. The lodge décor gave the space a cozy feel, but being right next to the hotel lobby made it extremely loud--not the relaxing dinner we were hoping for. The food was overpriced for what you actually receive, and unfortunately the service was quite slow. While the ambiance was decent, the overall experience didn't match the cost. Convenient if you're already staying at the lodge, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to dine. read more

Places is super cute and the service was great! Food was decent it's of course over priced because of it being a tourist spot but on par with other touristy places. We tried to dine here without a reservation which wasn't possible so we made one for our last night staying at great wolf lodge. The reservation system asks several questions one of them being are you celebrating anything so I notated the two birthdays we are celebrating. (But they did nothing with that information, why ask?!?!) Children's meals are a decent portion. My one son is a vegetarian and asked if they had a plant based option for a burger and the server said of course (no up-charge which is amazing) it came with fries, fresh carrots and orange slices. Well rounded and decent price. My other son had the corn dog which came with the same sides. They were both very happy with their choices. Two of the adults had cheeseburgers and they raved about them. My sister had the shrimp Alfredo. She said it was decent. I had the bolognese pasta. It was good. Both pastas where small portions for the price but we were both full so it was plenty. I think we just all think about going for Italian food and they give you two meals in a bowl. My boys had one of the children's specialty drinks and said it was good. Three of us had adult beverages and they were all good. All and all it was a good meal. read more

As a Family of 4 dining here on Easter, the only thing good about our visit was the skillet cornbread, the atmosphere and our server, Jero. Nothing else. Not fresh and lukewarm. High prices for low quality. Would not recommend. read more

This restaurant was great, and it surprised me undoubtedly. Service: The service was good, I loved how they were really welcoming and didn't talk much. They weren't rude or anything, it was great. And near the end, even had the respect to sing for my sister's birthday! Food: The food was amazing, and it surprised me. The fries were... alright, but my steak wasn't burnt, and I liked the texture of it in my mouth. Though, for some reason; I tried my grandpa's steak, it was more progressively burnt, and I didn't like a charcoal taste. Though, my Dad's mashed potatoes made up for that. Ambience: The ambience of the place felt calm, and a bit quiet. I loved the soft lighting of the lights, and the forestry as the background really calmed the setting. Conclusion: The food was great, but just try to ask the employees not to burn the steak. If you even get steak, and also. If you like mashed potatoes, get them! I had my son's 11th birthday with a few buddies at Great Wolf. He is an ice cream cake kind of kid so I grabbed an outside cake with an ice bag and cooler. It did not last but our waitress Judy saved the day. She reconstructed the cake and save the day!!! The food was great, but outstanding service by Judy!!! Spinach dip was tasty, the kids corn dogs, hamburger and chicken strips were kid approved. For a kid hotel they hit the mark on everything. read more

Fireside - American Near Me - Naples, Florida

First and foremost, it was clear from the start that the staff wasn't ready to deal with customers. The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, yet we were seated at the most uncomfortable table in the back -- hard wooden chairs and a stiff table -- while every other booth and cushioned chair sat empty. Why seat us there? To make matters worse, both my daughter and I nearly slipped and fell -- the floors were dangerously slick, as if they'd been coated in baby oil. I even have a video showing how slippery it was. The manager saw us slipping and said absolutely nothing. Eventually, we requested to move tables. Then came the long wait -- despite the place being almost empty, the food took forever to arrive. When it finally did, it was barely warm. My Chicken Alfredo was bland, and the chicken tasted like it came straight out of a pre-packaged frozen meal -- absolutely nothing fresh about it. My father ended up with severe stomach issues after eating it -- possibly from expired sauce or spoiled ingredients. Completely unacceptable. I also ordered wings (which cost $20) and asked specifically for all flats since my 4-year-old daughter only eats flats. I was told it comes mixed (half and half), and I agreed -- assuming we'd at least get 5 flats. The wings came out with only two flats, the rest were all overcooked drums. My daughter barely ate anything. When I brought it up, the waitress said there was nothing she could do, that it's "up to the kitchen." Then why mislead me in the first place? Overall, I paid $180 for a meal that gave my father food poisoning, my child nothing to eat, and nearly caused us both to fall on a dangerously slippery floor. Absolutely disgraceful. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and will never be returning. read more
