The service was not good at all. The Food was ok definitely not worth the price. The coffee was gross tasted like water & coffee beans. I'm sorry this was not the place. I threw my entire coffee away & ate the everything bagel w/ bacon & cream cheese. My teenager daughter had the smoothie & Cubano it was ok thats pretty much it. I won't be going back there again. While I was working downtown in corporate Rhode Island this place was the place to go for amazing sandwiches and even better service. They are so welcoming in there and they WILL remember you and greet you by name. It feels almost like a family in there, they're super busy, but quick and every sandwich I tried I enjoyed very much. The prices are on the higher side but when you work downtown this is what you expect, but worth every penny. Exceptional service especially from Allan he's such a sweetie and he always brought a smile to my face. The upbeat feel to the place is cool. They do have a few tables inside where you can sit, but like myself I would just grab and go. You can call your order in or just order there and grab it to go. I really love this place for lunch! I get the same thing every time: Chicken salad on a wheat wrap, american cheese, banana peppers, lettuce... extra pickles on the side! The more I come here the more I like it. I started going for breakfast like every workday. Now, I'm pulling two-a-days. Fastest service, friendly, great variety and sooo cheap! Food is pretty good, I've been here for lunch and also had it delivered to my work as part of their catering. Had a turkey wrap with delicious crispy bacon one time, another a mozzarella salad with a pile of tasty prosciutto. No complaints. Sandwiches are under $7, salads a dollar or two more. The staff knows almost everyone walking through the door. The food is fresh made and delicious. I've had multiple lunch options and never been dissatisfied. The owner is nice. She obviously takes her business seriously. It is one of the reasons why I took the time to write this review. Take a look at your food from the customer's eyes. Standing in line and trying to decide what I would like - your egg salad looks almost grey and well beyond the attractive point and it is only noon. The unlabeled salads behind the glass? No idea. The tuna salad looks soupy and the raviolis something or other clearly has seen better days. If it doesn't look appetizing, then it really shouldn't be out! I ordered a club, so I expected a club. Small, sandwich on a roll is not a club just because what is in it would go on a club. Where are the layers? Yummy toasted bread? This is an $8.99 sandwich? Uh uh. Overpriced for both quality and quantity. I work in the neighborhood, so it would be nice to have this as a go-to, but that isn't going to happen. Too many better options around the block. read more

I enjoy the food, especially the pickles, but the Corporate Cafe only accepts cash. This is a major downside, and the lines can get VERY long at lunch time if you don't call ahead or miss the rush. The positives also include friendly service and a variety of chips and drinks, as well as greeting cards. If you're carrying cash and not looking to eat between 12 and 1, give it a try, otherwise, keep walking. read more

They are just amazing. How many places in providence can you walk into that they know your name, how you like your coffee, and can make your coffee perfect. Their prices are on par with every other sandwich shop in town but the quality just cant be beat. Small portions when it comes to sandwiches and wraps, making them poorly priced for the value. (I also read somewhere that they serve Boar's Head lunch meats and I don't quite buy it.) On the flip side, don't try to grab a coffee and a pastry in the morning and expect to pay with a credit card... they have a $5 minimum. The family that owns it are a gem, been in the business for over 20 years---which is saying something in downtown providence, where most businesses are lucky if they make it beyond 3 years. Boars head meats. Real homemade meatballs made on premises. Actual chicken breasts, not the patties and faux type chicken breasts served at most lunch places, such as Au Bon Pain across the street. They also have hot specials prepared every day: pastas, chicken and beef dishes, yummy vegetables ... love their Brussel sprouts...love their eggplant parm and chick cordon Bleu. Breakfast muffins, bagels, pastries and breads cooked baked daily on premises. I eat there daily for breakfast and lunch and consider it the best eat out/take out option in downtown providence for casual dining. High quality food that is not processed and made with fresh ingredients, family owned with hardworking owners and great service (lines at lunch go fast) ... Been working in downtown Providence for over 10 years and there is a reason why this place has been in business for decades-- it is an AWESOME place to grab breakfast or lunch. I have seen many restaurants and delis come and go over the years, the good quality food, service and fair prices that corporate cafe offers always wins out. This place is family owned and you can tell they take great pride in their food: daily health conscious specials like avocado toast, quinoa bowls, great Brussels sprouts, and their sandwiches are always with high quality turkeys,hams and beefs, not the pressed artificial junk you get at a lot of delis. I always get one of their fresh baked muffins or bagels for breakfast. (Sometimes an egg sandwich made with REAL eggs they crack) and for lunch I vary between Italian grinder if I am ignoring calories or one of their fresh salads with their yummy chicken breast if I am being calorie conscious.
