Brought six others today as we were all at the nearby Flying Circus Balloon Festival. I let them know that I'd been to the Corner Deli before and that the food and service were great, and once again, I was not let down. We found room in two booths next to each other, and were able to order (at 10:30) both breakfast and lunch items. (and I even got pie a la mode)! Everyone enjoyed their food, the service was great with prompt refills on our drinks, and the checkout process was fabulous, the young man quickly broke our two tables into seven different payments and we all walked out happy and full. Corner Deli has been a "saved place" on my GPS for years and I've also put it on my sports car group's "great dining" map, so that when we're down near Remington, The Corner Deli is our default choice for a meal stop. read more

I always like to support the local businesses but The Corner Deli was a disappointment. I have eaten here for years but the new owners have ruined a good thing. One sandwich basically on Wonder bread with one slice of bologna was over $11; that did not include the fries. I will never eat here again. Very sad to lose a local landmark eatery. read more

Stopped in for some breakfast this morning. All the inside booths were taken so we decided to sit outside and eat. The waitress was very attentive and kept checking on as we were the only ones outside. They offer a pretty decent menu for breakfast foods. I went with the biscuits and gravy with two eggs and hash browns. My wife got the veggie omelette with cheese grits and a biscuit. The food came out really quick and tasted pretty good. The service was great and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely a nice little spot. read more

The perfect place to have a good home cook breakfasts. The food is simple but delicious. The service was excellent received 2 rounds of coffee in cool looking mugs . The owner Son Stan is the reason I will return, the service he provide was top notch. The only downside is that they are not open after 3pm. Also closed on Sundays and Mondays . read more

Ah-mazzzing!! Fabulous home made food served in a quaint small town atmosphere! We had (and enjoyed!) the Philly cheese steak that was suggested by our fellow Yelp community!! We also followed one reviewer suggestion and had the BLT-it was excellent!! The perfect ratio of crispy lettuce, bacon and tomato with just the right amount of mayonnaise! The Philly cheesesteak is the standard that all phillys should be judged by!! It was great!! The perfect ratio of shaved steak, malty cheese and grilled onions! I visited here for dinner recently. I was in Remington, VA to visit "Salon on Main" for a pedicure/manicure - and was starving afterward. We had the freshly brewed tea and an assortment of sandwiches. The Reuben and liverwurst sandwiches were the top picks. I can't believe how quickly everything was prepared & served. My Reuben was grilled perfectly - piping hot and every bite was absolutely delicious. I shared a bit and it was by far the favorite! I would try the cheesesteak next time based upon the reviews, but if you only come here once - go for the Reuben!!! Stopped here while working for AmeriCorps on our way home from a site and we were so happy with the experience!! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The service was also very quick and all of the food was fresh. I ordered hush puppies, a chicken wrap, and sweet tea, and everything was great! The Corner Deli. It 's my family's go-to restaurant for down to earth country food and family. The only days we miss eating here are the days we are out of town. Their breakfasts are phenomenal, lunches and dinners are awesome, and the soups are amazing. The Staff is excellent and family run and owned. If you want a quite place to read, sit, people watch and have a welcomed family oriented feeling of caring this is the place for you. Highly recommend The Corner Deli to our friends all the time. Whatever bacon they use here is incredible. If you order a burger get the bacon burger or order a BLT. The service is excellent and they appreciate their customers. Crinkle cut fries came with the burger...what a nice surprise from the typical flat or steak fries. The jalapeño cheddar pops were good...not great.
