It immediately reminded me of the kind of sausage my grandmother used to make. The only real miss for me was the potatoes. I appreciated that they were actual hand-cut potatoes instead of the frozen cubes you sometimes get at restaurants, but they had absolutely no seasoning. Even just some salt and pepper would have helped, although onions and green peppers would have made them even better. Without ketchup, I honestly wouldn't have eaten them. I also had a peach mimosa, which was delicious and refreshing. Rachel, our server, was great. She was attentive without hovering and offered suggestions and recommendations, which I always appreciate.
