Great sandwiches, generously filled with tasty corned beef, thinly sliced and then lightly grilled and warmed. Have ordered multiple sandwiches for a group event and it is well received by all! Try them...you'll wonder why you just discovered this gem! read more

Food was okay. The sandwich was hot and portion size okay too. A little pricey though. Woman behind the counter was friendly and chatty. One thing that keeps me from going back was that she had the same gloves on when she took my money and ran the register, then picked up the phone to answer ... and then turned around and dipped her hand into grabbing some meat and bread to make my sandwich, dipping again to grab a pickle. Even after the sandwich was done she had the same dirty gloves on when her hand was all over the sandwich to cut and pack it. read more

We were in the area, every time you drive by we say we're going to stop in but we're never really hungry at that time. Today was the day! The sandwiches are huge, my husband and I split a corned beef sandwich. If your hungry this is the place to get a sandwich! The ingredients were fresh and delicious. There was a slight bitter after taste reminds me of green olives. It was really yummy and I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. There is a gaming area too. Perfect place to have dinner and gamble. We will be back again. Definitely worth the money. The dining room was very clean and they even have a fountain drink machine. There are six tables for dine in. read more

It was our first time trying it. We live 3 minutes and I don't know why we waited so long to try it. It was fantastic! I had a Reuben and my husband had the Pastrami. We could only eat half, it was so big. We will have the other half tomorrow. I can't wait to try the pastrami next time. The only issue was that when we got home and opened it up, there were no chip! I was looking forward to having chips with it. Next time we will make sure before we leave. We give it an A+. read more

Horrible service. Lady employee standing out front smoking a cigarette in front of the entrance rolled her eyes and gave me a dirty look as I walked in. The girl in back said just a minute. And I stood there for 6 min. Nothing. Walked out! Yea no thanks! I could tell that food was going to be made with anger. read more

I stopped by tonight, a Sunday night and the place was empty except for gamblers on the video poker machines. It was nice and quiet. I ordered the Rueben sandwich, and a Diet Coke. The drinks are fountain drinks with refills. The sandwich was decent. No French fries but there are bags of chips that you can purchase. read more

I placed an order on Sunday, May 11 during what was supposed to be regular business hours via their website. When I arrived to pick up the order the restaurant was closed. Since that day I have been chasing a refund. Even though I ordered on their website, it went through Door Dash and they would not refund me, only credit me - for food I ordered and paid for during regular business hours and they weren't open. Now jumping through hoops calling the store and Door Dash for days before finally just disputing the charge via credit card. Never again. Super shady. read more

Went there Saturday night (5/17/25), the place was empty, so we were a little concerned, but the West Chicago location had some decent reviews, so we tried the Corned Beef sandwich and the Pastrami sandwich to go. We live about an hour away, so got home and tried the food. Sandwhiches were filled with lots of meat. Corned beef tasted ok, nothing great. We could get better from the deli counter at the grocery store. The pastrami had a bunch of pieces that were gray. Normally lunch meat like that should all be red or pink colored. Gray is when the lunch meat gets really old or is not properly stored. Yuk. We threw out most of the pastrami on that sandwich. Would not recommend this place. You should just go to a reputable deli, or buy lunch meat at the grocery store and make your own sandwich. read more

Corned beef is flavorless, pastrami slightly more flavorful but still bland. All you taste is the rye bread and mustard. The sandwiches are large and filling but no flavor. A last resort for UberEats when you're tired of burgers, subs and KFC. read more

Heard about this place in a neighborhood newsletter. Excellent Corned Beef sandwich and excellent Rueben sandwich. Highly recommended

THE WORST deli sandwiches I have ever eaten. The corned beef and pastrami were dry and tough even though they were sliced thin. We got the sandwiches home and started eating them and they were so bad we could barely swallow and after two bites we tossed them in the trash. In all seriousness Aldi's packaged luncheon meat tastes ten times better. How this place is still in business and people actually eat their sandwiches is truly mind boggling. Also the rye bread used for the sandwiches was dry and crumbly and tasted like it was 3 days old. $13 for each sandwich might qualify as the biggest rip off in all of Chicagoland. read more

I was excited to see that Corned Beef Factory was still opened, Before going to Midway Airport to catch my flight back home to Las Vegas, NV, I drove to Carol Stream to purchase a Tom n Jerry sandwich and this is the WORST TASTELESS sandwich I have ever tasted. The beef and pastrami is so bland with NO FLAVOR. SUCH A HUGH DISAPPOINTMENT. This could not be the same Corned Beef Factory previously on Lake St, in Chicago. Best corned beef I've had in awhile. It's a no frills place but the menu is solid. So are the sandwiches. I had the corned beef/ pastrami combo. It comes with house made chips and a large pickle spear. They also have hot dogs and Italian beefs. Half the space is for slots and gambling if you're into that. My only gripe was a gambler nearby was vaping and I hate the smell of that junk. read more

This is a review for the new Carol Stream location. This was a very different experience throughout the whole process so bare with me. First, I want to give a shout out to Brian (manager) and his wife Jennifer who I believe opened this location. Fantastic over the top service 5 for them, whatever they are making is not enough, they deserve a huge pay increase and bonuses. They are the reason for giving the place a 4 review. The information on the internet is very confusing. Some engines tell you that the place is close, other give a closing hour of 7pm and their website only has the Chicago location. So I call the number on Google, a 312 area code, to see if they were open. The man who answered the phone, I believe is one of the owners, was a bit rude. When I asked if that's was the Carol Stream location he answered "am I not answering the phone?" For which i responded that it is a Chicago area code and I'm inquiring about the suburbs, again he responded with dismissive sarcasm. Once I confirm that the location is open I made plans to get dinner there at 6 pm (closing time listed on search engines is 7 pm). When we got there the place was closed. disappointing. Here is we're Brian stepped up, open the door for us, explained knowing that the information is incorrect, and offer to make a couple of sandwiches. Since they were truly closed we had only 3 choices. We decided on one Ruben and one Corned beef. Brian and Jennifer were very nice to us, gladly providing service, friendly, and upbeat attitude. Now the review of the sandwiches: 3 Good compared to what we like. We got our best Ruben's, Pastrami's, Corned Beef, and Chicken Salad sandwiches at Mort's Deli or The Belden Deli - the old one. Pickles slices were limp. Homemade potato chips crispy, tasty, and not that salty - excellent I think that with time, and ironing a few wrinkles, this place will be a great addition to our neighborhood. read more

I don't like corned beef, but my husband said they had turkey, so I was all in. A couple of weeks ago he stopped on his way home from Costco and got sandwiched. I was delighted ! Then I took a bite..the first mouthful I got was a mushy, cold gob of what seemed like raw stuffing..It was disgusting. I opened the sandwich to make sure there was no more of whatever that was and surprise..a zillion pieces of turkey..I don't mean like nice slices, I mean it looked like what's left on the platter after dinner at Grandma's house. It was just scraps and chunks. I've had their turkey before and it's been delicious and nothing like this !! For what these sandwiches cost, this was a joke...I was (and am) disgusted. There used to be two nice ladies who worked there and they made great sandwiches...My husband said there were two guys in there now. PLEASE bring back someone who knows how to make a sandwich. I promise you will lose a lot of customers if this continues ! read more

We've been looking for a good pastrami sandwich here in the 'burbs, besides the super greasy one at Strat's. We found it! While I think the little slot machine room is a tad tacky, the food is great! It's the perfect lunch spot. You get a sandwich, pickle spear and chips. The sandwiches are loaded with fresh, quality meat. I wish the sandwich was grilled, but it's so delicious not grilled, on super soft, fresh rye bread. Definitely stop in! read more

Pretty good sandwich! I ordered the Rueben listed at $14 but was charged $14.56! Kinda odd- just want everyone to be aware it's not just $14. Sandwich is huge! The Corned Beef Factory - 1/2 of a Rueben that I'm taking home! - Sandwiches Near Me - West Chicago, Illinois

Everyone has been raving about this place on my local Facebook page so I decided to give it a try. First off, the prices are rather high. $14 for a reuben with chips and a pickle. The homemade potato chips were not uniformly salted so some tasted of oil and nothing more, whereas others were too salty. The pickle was small and blah. As for the sandwich itself, it was... ok. I may be going against the grain here, but I would have preferred LESS corned beef for a lower price. There was too much meat on the sandwich which overpowered the flavor of the (limited) thousand island dressing and sauerkraut and upset the balance. I also think they could cut the price of their offerings if they scaled back on the packaging. Between the heavy box and unnecessary string, it was overkill. I'd prefer less fancy packaging since it ends up in the recycling bin / trash anyway. I really don't see myself coming back, and I do have to wonder about all those rave reviews on Facebook... read more

This place is a hidden gem!! I've been looking for a good pastrami and corned beef sandwich since moving to the Nw suburbs. Everyone knows that Manny's and A.P deli in Chicago have a special place in my heart when it comes to corned beef, but The Corned Beef Factory has just gained a new fan (raises hands) First of all, the packaging is so cute +100 points for the bomb sustainable box and the bow. Located right off of North Ave, it is very convenient to stop and grab a bite to eat quickly (in and out) ya hear me. Plenty of parking for customers and right next to a smoke shop... The menu has all of my favorites from corned beef to pastrami and my all time favorite (pastrami and corned beef combo) on warm white rye with Swiss cheese and a pickle. The house made chips are crispy and perfectly salted. Great work, corned beef factory. See ya again soon. read more

Wow! This location has not even had their grand opening and the words already out about how awesome it is. Simple menu, superb quality. I split the Tom & Jerry, which is half pastrami, half corned beef and there is a 1/2 lb of meat on one sandwich. The quality of the meat is top grade, so lean, barely any fat. The bread is insanely fresh and the homemade chips are light and airy without one drop of grease. The sandwich is also packaged in the cutest cardboard box with a butcher string tied around it. Highly recommend grabbing a sandwich from them soon. Owner was there working along with the staff, and super nice. read more

Just. WOW! The Reuben is amazing! I'm in trouble with this place being 10min from me! So, so good!!

I recently had the opportunity to stop by a small eatery in Carol Stream that friends of mine have told me to try out. The name of this eatery is the Corn Beef Factory in West Chicago The moment that I walked in, I was kindly greeted by the female worker behind the counter. She was so enthusiastic and nice that it really made me happy to try them out. The menu is laid out with items such as Italian beef, hotdogs, corn beef, and pastrami sandwiches. The other half of this eatery holds slot machines to gamble if one would like to do that. I chose to go with their combo sandwich, the Tom and Jerry, which consisted of pastrami and corned beef with a slice of Swiss cheese and hot mustard. The combo also comes with their homemade potato chips. My order was up in less than a minute. It was shocking how fast my sandwich was made. I say at one of the tables that was spotless. I first tried their homemade potato chips. I was not really a fan of their chips. They had a gummy, stale texture to them. The sandwich I took a bite into had good flavor. The meat was a little over-salted for my preference. The cheese was not melted, it felt hard in the sandwich and really did not add much to it. The mustard was barely there. I overall felt that the sandwich was extremely mediocre, nothing outstanding, but was not bad. I wanted to give the sandwich a perfect 10 out of 10 just for the sheer fact of how nice and welcoming it was. The lady behind the counter kept asking me how everything was. She was again so friendly. I noticed for the most part that people were coming to gamble, rather than order food. The sandwich was a bit pricey at about $16 for the combo. I would say that if you really must have a corn beef sandwich and are in the area to definitely give them a try. read more

I came to the Carol Stream location and had the Tom and Jerry. It was very good. I happen to be in the area today and decided to get another. There was an old man behind the counter taking orders and making the sandwiches. I don't think he has a customer service bone in his body. I know he saw me come in and I stood there about 5 mins but he didn't acknowledge me at all. Didn't say, I'll be right with you...nothing.
