As you can see on my profile, I like to write raving reviews to help highlight and give credit for great service and business establishments. It is unfortunate to write this one star review of the Container Store in Hallandale regarding an unacceptable, unprofessional, and subpar experience we had in designing, purchasing, and installing their Elfa closet systems in our master and guest closets. We have had multiple, lengthy conversations over the last month discussing the several shortcomings and mishaps during the entire process with the Designer, General Manager of the store, and the installation - only to witness each person pointing fingers at the other department (they are very siloed in their organization), with no return calls, no follow up after an hour long discussion, no one able to address the overall concerns of a customer. And the last conversation I had was initiated by a manager from their Corporate installation team, calling me one evening to understand the complaints/concerned shared which was very late and random. I thought they were finally coming through in making it right for their customer after such a horrible experience we had, and it ended up being a total waste of time speaking to him as he never called back, although he promised he would. Please refer to my photos - and do not use their installation service or their delivery service via Dolly (at an extra charge of $80-100). For my order, their store employee didn't have the items ready for pick up when Dolly showed up. Dolly had to contact me multiple times during my work hours to confirm my order. Then they had to reschedule for another time due to the items not being ready for pick up. Additionally, items were not packaged properly, and were exposed and dirty at arrival. To make things worse, on the day of the installation, the installer noticed items were missing so he had to drive back to the store to pick up the missing items which put him behind schedule for his next installation - so he had to rush our installation job. This mishap resulted in the installer making several mistakes in installing the system in wrong heights, not patching the walls (he didn't even have a sand paper to smooth out the wall nor did he have the flat white paint with him). Per the contract, they were to patch the walls and paint the wall with a flat white paint after removing our old/existing closet system. After the installer finished, both closets were left with debris, dust, and hair (the installer had long curly hair which "shed" all over the house). If you're considering their closet system, I'd highly recommend hiring your own installer and pick up your own items. It will cause you more time and headache dealing with subpar service and professionalism. As for the designer, do not expect her to explain in details the pros and cons of their system. Even after her failing to provide pertinent details, she will blame the customer for not knowing and will make a statement to the effect of "well, you saw it at the store". Please note some of their systems come in standard sizes so cannot be customized. As a result, our closet system looks off center (i.e. 16" shelf mismatched & extended next to a 12" shelf). Additionally , we lost about 3 inches of hanging space on each end of the closet - totaling 6 inch of unused space. When this was brought up, the designer totally ignored our concern and said I should have known. Very frustrating and disappointing experience to say the least. I hope I'm the last one to have such a horrible experience after spending thousands of dollars. We need additional closet solutions at our home, and this was the phase one of our project (as shared with the designer and she was in the process of designing our other systems). However, based on our experience we had to turn to their competitors. I'm told this installation was done according the their scope and standard - even after I shared all these photos and video. I'm in complete shock but I'll let the viewers of my photos to be the judge

The Container Store has a lot to offer. They have a solution for every type of organization issue you might have. They make some of the solutions fun with different colors and designs. I do prefer the store in Boca Raton however. This store is a little bit small and it is a little hard to find what I am looking for. The staff was really helpful though so I was able to get what I needed. There are some helpful associates who will discuss reorganization of your clothing closet. They have some nice designs for that. I will probably look into that next time I come here. They are located in the Gulfstream Park Shopping Area. They have their own parking lot so that is very convenient.

Definitely needed to update my review as my experience was over the top. Since I was finally able to get dish soap at Costco but didn't want it sitting on my kitchen counter a gallon sized container, I had to find a dispenser. So searched online high and low now that I have this unusual amount of time for shopping online. I narrowed my search to a Simply Human dispenser. You can go to their website or William Sonoma but The Container Store has it with a sponge holder as well. Ok never knew where the poor sponge should go so that would be the best option. So get this no mail order I go to Gulfstream and drive up to the store and they walk it outside and hand it to me. This is terrific what a great way to get the essentials you need without even leaving the car. Good news must travel quickly as two other cars pulled up at the same time as well. My colleague told me because of work from home people are setting up home offices as well as organizing their homes. Well glad they are open and this dispenser made my life a whole lot easier. Ahhh, a trip to The Container Store is a a fun-filled destination that I love to do! Today, I was in search of something I could transport my photo booth props in without them getting damaged. So we entered the Gulfstream plaza and we were able to get a great parking spot which is good because it keeps pouring here. Woot woot, there it was on the shelf a black container box with a lid that is 13" x 15"x 4". It seems to be strong and sturdy so I think the props will be protected. So in the cart it goes. The rest of this shopping trip is for enjoyment and just to fill my organizational thought process that is always on my mind. The negative of this store is I could not find anyone to help me in the aisles there were 3 ladies in the closet design section and there were 5 at the cash register. All workers are busy so I didn't want to interrupt. Here's to an organized home!

This is my favorite Container Store in Hallandale. The Customer Service Sales Associates are way better in terms of product knowledge and friendliness compared to the one in Miami on Kendall Drive. The staff were super friendly and helpful in providing me with different options to better organize my refrigerator and panty closet. The store has a large selection of options and has everything you'll possibly need to get your home better organized in a practical sense. As they claim "The Container Store is the Customer's HAPPY place!" And it's definitely my happy place. I love this store!

For containers of any sort or variety all the way from food containers to trash containers, this is the place. It's huge and has just about every container imaginable. Chances are pretty good that if you can't find the container you're looking for here, you won't find it anywhere. Just for being so big and having such a huge selection as well as variety, I have to go Four Stars on it.

Christmas sale is amazing, wrapping paper and ribbon for next year!

Great store love the selection, but is quite pricy for things you can buy elsewhere for less but it is convenient finding it all at one store! The care things you didn't know you needed it's amazing but dangerous lol. A big part of their store is dedicated to wrapping gifting boxing which I love it is my go to for special gift wrapping. Only complaint is a employee named Kathy who twice in 6 months as basically insulted me for not signing up for membership. Saying it must be nice to be wealthy... All because I don't like giving out my email and phone number. Yes I miss out on a small discount but that's my choice, I am floored by such a clean and organized company allowing employees to speak to customers that way. BUT everyone else is always helpful nice and have great ideas if you need help deciding how to organize your thingsbobs and wooodydings... :). I recommend it I'm just disappointed in my service every time I check out at this location. They don't have a quick system worked out. I give it 3 for pricey-ness and slow checkout.

It is mostly modern and seems high quality. When the time comes for me to replace my outdoor chairs, I will definitely come here. I also like their coffee makers. They make nice gifts for your favorite coffee lover. I am a member of their rewards program. I don't even know what the perks are since I haven't been told I earned anything. It is free to join. They also offer free shipping on any item that is out of stock from their showroom.

Extremely disappointing and unacceptable customer service…read more I placed an online order shortly after Christmas and received an order confirmation email within minutes. However, I quickly discovered that most of the items I ordered were either backordered or no longer available. This was never clearly communicated at the time of purchase. Frustrated, I immediately contacted customer service to cancel the entire order. I was told that the cancellation could not be processed because the items were already being prepared for shipment and that I would have to wait for delivery and return everything to the store instead. What followed was a complete waste of time and an example of very poor customer handling. I received multiple packages over several days, and some items that were supposed to arrive as complete sets arrived partially--such as receiving only one item out of a four-piece set. This level of disorganization is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of control over their logistics and inventory systems. I took the time to return everything I received to the store, only to be met with further frustration. The store associate was unable to process my refund, and the store manager, Brian, was equally unhelpful. Instead of taking responsibility for the mistakes made by the company, he dismissed the issue by pointing out that the items were "final sale." This response was not only unhelpful but showed a complete lack of accountability and respect for the customer. While I understand that I purchased final sale items, customers should not be misled into purchasing items that are inaccurately listed as available online. Crate & Barrel should not offer final sale products if their systems cannot reliably reflect real-time inventory or ensure proper fulfillment. Penalizing customers for the company's own operational failures is unfair and unacceptable. This experience clearly demonstrates that Crate & Barrel prioritizes sales over customer care. Being a business is not just about pushing transactions--it is about honesty, accountability, and treating customers with fairness and respect, especially when the company is at fault. This entire experience was exhausting, time-consuming, and deeply disappointing.

There was another item on the original purchase I wanted to exchange also this what happened. So I was not even on her register she came over mad sloppy and unprofessional then left with my receipt after she shut me up when I was going to just let her know the details and the amount that was purchased she shut me up saying like I said I'm going to see waiting 15 mins wondering where the hell was this horrible manager she comes Bach saying we'll I was checking the cameras and investigating everything which cleared my point she was bias and assumed I was stealing I was dressed in my work uniform I feel she literally even was checking the camera on today also to see if I stuffed the pants in my bad from work and just made it seem like I was retuning stolen items. It sells a variety of clothes for infants, toddlers, girls, boys, women, and men. There are also bed & bath items, toys, shoes, housewares, accessories, and lingerie at fair prices. Nice associates. Saw a few things that caught my interest, so I will definitely be back.

I visited High Style Furniture several times. I have to admit I didn't furnish my whole house with…read morethem, but for the mare fact that i didn't know them then. Their store is pretty big (looks small from the front), they even made a second floor. Furniture in general you can find anywhere in Miami, but I write this review because I found spectacular pieces there, seriously contemporary beauties that i hadn't seen (very innovative), prices, customer care and hospitality in High Style, i felt were unique. You walk in the store and see marvelous pieces of furniture spread around in different ambients. They seem to have a technique, and to understand the customer who is just walking in, THEY LET U BREATHE; they don't chase you around, forcing you to feel uncomfortable. I was looking to furnish my dining room, and so I did. The prices are actually lower than any other place I visited. I did not only furnish my didning room with them, but decided to return the bed I had bought at another store earlier that week, because High Style's "in-stock" rate and availability, as well as fast delivery was greatly a positive factor. Their customer service is really TWO THUMBS up. The owner attended me with care, humour and the hospitality was tremendous. I was even served with coffee and at times they offered cake or cookies, things they would buy accross the street to make feel at home or in a comfortable and unique, shopping environment. At times I still go, to check out what new things they receive, they are very dynamic with their stock, which i consider positive, since I like to change around the style of my house. As a decorator, I've worked with many stores, High Style was the most friendly of all. They treat everyone (whether buying a table lamp to furnishing their whole house), with extreme care and equal hospitality. Although the high traffic of people, they still manage to care for each with equal care, that I admire. They offer a great variety of services, such as remodeling, all around the house and out of it furniture, and any decoration, thus their slogan "furniture, accessories and art", to chich i think they might be able to include; and remodeling... I am pretty sure their Sunny Isles Location was closed because the terrain was sold or a deal of the sort was made, and they found a new Location in The Diplomat Landing, a vivid shopping mall in front of the Diplomat Hotel in hollywood or hallandale, not sure of the city. Hope it goes all well there as it was before, can't wait until the re oppening, and to maybe hang out there or pass by for a cup of coffee and entertaining hospitality...

I had a very disappointing experience with Gallery Art and would not trust them with valuable…read moreartwork again. A couple of months ago, I brought in an art piece to have the inside of the plexiglass cleaned. When I noticed months later that there were still visible marks that had been missed, I also realized that the plexiglass was no longer properly seated under the wood frame, the edge was now sticking out. This had never been an issue in the 20+ years the piece of art has been in this frame, including previous handling by other professionals. I brought the piece back and spoke with an employee named Mathew. He acknowledged that the piece had not been cleaned properly, but then attempted to blame me for the plexiglass shifting due to how I "might have handled it." He also claimed the plexiglass was cut too small for the frame, which makes no sense given the frame's long history without this problem, until Gallery Art took it apart and put it back together. Mathew initially tried to charge me $180 to re-clean the piece and realign the plexiglass, even though the issue was clearly caused by their work. I asked instead for the plexiglass to simply be replaced. After getting my piece back, I contacted the owner, Amy, to discuss the situation. She was extremely unprofessional from my initial call with her. When I called at 11:30 a.m., she told me she sleeps during the day and would not speak with me until after 7 p.m. When I finally did reach her and explained that I should not have been charged to fix their mistake, she dismissed my concerns entirely after multiple calls going back and forth with her on the situation. After spending over $700 with this business, she offered only a $90 credit and later followed up with a text to me stating... "Obviously, you agreed to the price when you dropped it off, you were not double billed." This completely missed the point of my complaint, which was about poor workmanship and accountability, not billing confusion. Overall, the lack of care, refusal to take responsibility, and unprofessional communication were unacceptable. I would not trust this company with any artwork, especially valuable or sentimental pieces.

I bought several pieces from them and will definitely be back for in the future. Waseem was incredible to work with! He responded to questions right away and really made sure I knew exactly what I was purchasing and provided additional pictures. They shipped everything really quickly and everything arrived in perfect condition! I couldn't be happier!
