I enjoy browsing and sometimes purchasing from any Crate and Barrel. I like this store because the service has been good each time I visited. Recently I bought some reacement dishes for a couple sets I bought a few years ago. I was glad they still had this style on hand. They have some great outdoor furniture. It is mostly modern and seems high quality. When the time comes for me to replace my outdoor chairs, I will definitely come here. I also like their coffee makers. They make nice gifts for your favorite coffee lover. I am a member of their rewards program. I don't even know what the perks are since I haven't been told I earned anything. It is free to join. Extremely disappointing and unacceptable customer service. I placed an online order shortly after Christmas and received an order confirmation email within minutes. However, I quickly discovered that most of the items I ordered were either backordered or no longer available. This was never clearly communicated at the time of purchase. Frustrated, I immediately contacted customer service to cancel the entire order. I was told that the cancellation could not be processed because the items were already being prepared for shipment and that I would have to wait for delivery and return everything to the store instead. What followed was a complete waste of time and an example of very poor customer handling. I received multiple packages over several days, and some items that were supposed to arrive as complete sets arrived partially--such as receiving only one item out of a four-piece set. This level of disorganization is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of control over their logistics and inventory systems. I took the time to return everything I received to the store, only to be met with further frustration. The store associate was unable to process my refund, and the store manager, Brian, was equally unhelpful. Instead of taking responsibility for the mistakes made by the company, he dismissed the issue by pointing out that the items were "final sale." This response was not only unhelpful but showed a complete lack of accountability and respect for the customer. While I understand that I purchased final sale items, customers should not be misled into purchasing items that are inaccurately listed as available online. Crate & Barrel should not offer final sale products if their systems cannot reliably reflect real-time inventory or ensure proper fulfillment. Penalizing customers for the company's own operational failures is unfair and unacceptable. This experience clearly demonstrates that Crate & Barrel prioritizes sales over customer care. Being a business is not just about pushing transactions--it is about honesty, accountability, and treating customers with fairness and respect, especially when the company is at fault. Crate & Barrel surprisingly has really nice furniture options. This is the biggest C&B I've ever been to. It was a beautiful set up and everything was super organized. Man, I could walk around the kitchen stuff all day. I love cooking so kitchen stuff makes me a happy gal. I will say they had a great selection of sectionals and couches we really liked. I didn't event realize C&B sold such cool furniture. Prices can be pricey but most is affordable when compared to West Elm or BoConcept. But also different levels of quality too. We actually found some pieces we love but trying to make decisions. Really beautiful store. There were several C&B staff around but we didn't really have anyone help us during this visit. read more

This has been one of the worst purchase experiences I've ever had with any retailer. I was mistakenly charged twice for one table and four chairs -- nearly $8,000 -- and had to open a dispute to fix it. When I finally picked up the chairs three weeks later, they had mold on them and had to be returned. To make matters worse, after Crate & Barrel switched credit card providers from Synchrony to Imprint, I was hit with an unexplained $100 charge, which the dispute team still insists I must pay. Overall, an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional experience. I strongly recommend avoiding this store. read more

Customer beware! This store is one of the worst, if not the worst, in its approach to customer service. Our dresser was in storage for 16 months, and when we opened the container, we discovered it was severely damaged. The container was not damaged, so the dresser was packed broken. After we visited the store, the saleswoman, Peggy Budeig, who had made the sale, promised to speak with the store manager, but didn't. The manager, Dionna Coates, promised to send someone for the assessment and didn't. Salesman Brian was hiding from us and, in the end, refused to talk, hanging up the phone. These people are professional liars. They couldn't care less if you need assistance after you've paid in full. Stay away from this place, by all means! read more

I am also here to write a review about the very unsatisfactory interaction I had at this location with the manager. I tried to return a set of steak knives that I was disappointed with due to the quality, and the manager refused to accept my return. She accused us of using the steak knives and insisted that they were not in their original packaging which they were - I was unaware that plastic wrap was considered to be a part of "original packaging". I'm not sure how they expect customers to inspect a product without opening it up. I'm very confused because I tried to initiate the return prior to coming here and the email offered the option to return it in store but how could this be if the manager that is working there won't even accept it??? I am currently having to go out of my way to another Crate and Barrel and I'm hoping that they will accept this return, and if not, then it must be an issue with the company. Lots of furniture stores have things so on top of each other, it's hard to see it all. Everyone wad so attentive and helpful, even though they knew we'd be purchasing though our designer. Wow! I have never felt so insulted the way this manager Gaby made me feel today. What a shame because I love all the store has to offer. I walked in feeling great to be in this space and return the extra candle holders I purchased but did not need after all. The minute I turned the bag into Gaby she immediately accused me of having used the candle holders. I said hello I just I want to return these candle holders and her exact replied was "but you already used them" literally straight to my face accusing me of using the item. When I explained to her that I had not she then went on to say that she still could not do the return because they were missing the tag and even though I had the receipt once you remove the tag it could not be returned. I explained that I had not removed any tags or used them it was the way they were given to me when purchased I had not even taken them out of the bag and she said there was nothing she can do continuously implying that I had used them because there was some type of residue in the candle holder all while my poor husband stood behind me not believing what this manager was saying to us. I have never been in this situation at any store where a receipt was presented for an item bought less than 7 days and accused of using and insulting me all at the same time. I don't understand the caliber of customer service at this location. How could they have a manager like this representing the Company. Now I have to go out of my way to another location 40 minutes away from my home just to return something that is in perfect condition. Warning to all future buyers at this location Gaby is one of the worst managers I have ever encountered at such a sophisticated location. I love this place!!! Crate and Barrel has some very stylish items. A saleslady showed me what she described as a cutting board for 2020. It has a section for your odds and ends plus a slot for your cell phone. It is pretty cool but I passed since it costs $100!! I came there looking for plates since I have ended up with a mismatched set along the way. They have some really nice colors and designs for their dishes. They also have all sorts of cool drinking glasses of all shapes and sizes. I bought another mismatched set of dishes. Lol What can I say? I get bored. This store is very neat and organized. I like how you can give them your phone number and then you do not have to worry about keeping your receipt. This is very convenient. read more

Very well organized store! From the moment you approach the building you're inspired to redo your entire home. I love how everything is separated for you to easily navigate the store and they do a great job bringing home living & kitchen together all in one. While the outdoor section isn't as big as I'd like to see for south Florida, I was definitely able to grab some big ideas for things to employ in my own home. My only downside is that I sorta felt like the customer service could have had a little boast. I made it through the entire store before meeting someone who was friendly enough to have a conversation. While I don't expect everyone to be nice, I had intentions on purchasing, but didn't feel welcomed enough to ask some of the questions I wanted. read more

I really like the simplicity of crate and barrel I come in every time I in the area just to look at the displays and how they decorate things to get ideas for my own home. I have bought a few pieces from them, and gotten inspirations to shop elsewhere for like items, as their prices are a bit high on some things. Something I like is that you do not get hassled, no one is trying to sell you anything,no one is following you around asking you if they can help you, but when you do need help they are there to answer your questions. This store is very neat and super trendy as far as home decor goes. It is a great place to come in and just browse and get ideas if you are into decorating your home. read more

It was lovely walking through C&B on a late winter afternoon. The lighting and space just makes you want to walk laps around the story and and imagine the sets in your own home. You don't feel too cluttered like some furniture places, which is nice now especially for these times. The candles smelled great, wish they weren't so pricey. Also, their dining stuff was a little pricey but it's stuff that your gonna be using on a daily basis so why not spend the extra dollar for such important things. I got some good ideas for DIY projects and I may be coming back once I can afford it. read more

Poor customer service. I stood in front of the cookware section for about 15 minutes without ever being acknowledged. When I asked for help, a gentlemen came over to assist but wasn't very helpful, not did he display a good knowledge base of the products. When I asked what was included in the packages of certain sets of cookware, his response was short and to the tune of "it's just what it says here." When I asked if certain selections were in stock, he said "I'd have to check." Not, "which selections were you interested in?" Or "let me find out which packages we do have in stock." I guess I just have a higher expectation of what good customer service should be, but if someone comes into a Crate and Barrel, a higher level of customer service is expected and unfortunately this representative that "helped" me today didn't fit the mold. The beauty bed from hell. Just Incase anyone planning on getting the Rattan bed. As you know, there is an assembly and delivery fee of $150.00. Welp I had no idea that the assembly fee was only the bed frame. No where in the description of the bed states that the head board requires further assembly. Apparently there is fine print when the item is in the cart "assembly required" which I naturally assume that I'm paying the assembly fee so it will be assembled? Well wrong. It would be like me handing someone an enema bottle with no instructions. You might think it's a water bottle, not a bottle that goes up your a**. This bed is extremely complicated! I had one vendor come out who had so much trouble he butchered the install. It's 3 panels that require very precise measurements so the brackets are even. I had another company come out who is a vendor for crate and barrel and install a lot of their items. Well they also find it complicated, 4 hours to install one panel. They at least did it right and will be back today to install the remaining two. The day I sell this place, I'm leaving this bed behind. I would have never purchased this bed if I knew what it would entail. Crate and barrel is not posting my review on their site so I had to come here. This is not a reflection of this store. This location is located in Gulfstream I remember when this store first opened here it was right before Christmas in 2009. The parking lot was flooded as it was an extreme storm. Holidays are the best time to shop at this store as they have great novelty holiday items like kitchen towels, mugs, food items and ornaments for the tree. Other than that I don't seem to find anything in here to buy. I do have a set of tall drinking glasses from here they are square and named "Strauss" Now their outlet store when they had it in Sawgrass Mall was great I found tons of things but sadly they closed thus no outlet store in South Florida. I came here as I have a Gift Card from the holidays to use but can't find a thing to spend it on. Their staff here are nice enough and friendly. They even had some demonstraters in the store yesterday, it was a lady showing you how to use a spiralizer. You know you put your vegetable in and it comes out curly. Sounds like for a person with too much time on their hands. I will be back probably at the holidays as that's the only time I find anything and I can use my gift card than. read more

It's really nice and a bit dangerous to have a Crate & Barrel so close! This was a nice addition to have in the shops at Gulfstream Park! It can be a little confusing when you get there but just grab a parking spot and walk around, it really is a nice plaza. Crate & Barrel has everything you need to decorate your home, keep in mind they can be rather pricey though. Great store to wander for inspiration, they have tons of set ups to see how different pieces go together. read more

Im writing this review based on my experience with their awesome customer service policy! My wife purchased new dishes online as a gift to herself for her birthday. The package arrived safely and when I say safely I mean it. Whoever packed the order took great care in wrapping every piece from dinner plates to bowls including a large salad bowl. Majorly impressed! One of the reasons she purchased new dishes was to not only find something new and trendy but also dishwasher and microwave safe. This stuff fit the bill. A week or 10 days later while unloading the dishwasher and putting away the dishes she noticed a crack in the clear coating on the dishes. Bummer! Armed with the order number she called the 1-800 customer service and they immediately sent out 2 replacement plates free of charge. She asked if she should return the 2 defective ones and the reply was "discard or donate them". How awesome is that?!!! No hassle, no arm wrestling just good old fashioned customer service! You might pay a little more for it but they stand behind it and give you service with a smile!! read more

I purchased an outdoor furniture table & chairs, the Dune Collection. After 13 months I noticed the metal was rusting terribly. I contacted the store without much satisfaction other than they were horrified at the pictures I showed them. So next I contacted corporate. I had to send 5 photos and how I cleaned it. The table has a glass top so therefore I used glass cleaner. I received an email stating that I should not have used glass cleaner! They also said I should keep the entire set covered, excuse me but this is sold as an OUTDOOR set. Basically they said too bad and I have had the set too long, Online it says their furniture is guaranteed for 5 years, apparently not. Clearly poor quality and overpriced, not what I would have expected from Crate & Barrel. I will never buy any furniture from them and recommend that no one should. I have purchased prior to this set an occasional table that came damaged and had to wait for another one to be sent. I also ordered a bedroom headboard, side & foot board that only the headboard ended up available after waiting almost a year for it. Guess it was a slow boat from China. I had to beg for credit as I had paid for it at the time of purchase, so they had my money for all that time! Crazy business practice. read more

I LOVE Crate and Barrel My husband and I call it Cart'n'Barrel - I guess it comes from living in Dublin Ireland for years and shopping on Moore Street where everything was sold from a cart or a barrel. For Crate and Barrel stores, this one is the biggest I've ever seen. I so love Crate and Barrel...they have such cool innovative glassware for serving cocktails and at a great price where you don't feel like you have to charge your guests a deposit at your most rowdy parties for fear they will break your fine Baccarat. The glassware here is totally affordable. I love cocktails. The furniture department is out of control!! For those of you who shopped in Crate and Barrel in Aventura Mall...this is going to blow you away. I reckon they have pretty much EVERYTHING in their catalog on display in the store. I just need to win the Lotto in order to totally refurbish my house. read more

It is always hard to buy furniture from a catalog, especially since it's always best to see the wood, leathers and fabrics in person before making any decisions. This store just opened to save our "I want that!" dilemma, and it is huge! Every furniture item you've seen in the Crate & Barrel catalogues but never really found in their regular mall stores - Sweet!!!!! It's heaven for a couple with a new home. Just north of Gulfstream park, you can leave your hubby earning the money you're about to spend while you shop ;-) We came in to get a few accessory gifts for xmas and walked out with a little more than planned, but seriously we couldn't help it. The service was great; attentive and not pushy at all. When we went the store had only been opened 10 days and although the staff was still getting a little used to the computer system and sorting out some glitches everyone was friendly and patience - I swear God must have poured a little extra sugar on me that morning, b/c I was so in love with the store I didn't mind the little wait. Gary took care of our purchase and sale - he was great. Although there were other people with much larger purchases trying to get his attention he took care of us with as much interest and prioritized our sale b/c rather than passing us on to the next person. While Gary and my hubs took care of payment, Jonathan helped with wrapping some other items for me (God bless a man that compliments a woman's shoes - he had me there!). There was a little glitch with a delivery cost and immediately the manager on hand came to the rescue. It was taking a little, so we decided to leave on a promise that they would call us to confirm the refund, and hecho y dicho, less than five minutes out the door my phone rang to let us know the money was back in our account. Post purchase, I've spoken to Gary several times as he calls with updates to our purchase and delivery schedule. Great selection, tons of items for any and every room in the house, and excellent service earn this furniture store 5 stars. *Note - the delivery glitch we experienced: we made a purchase that had to be split into two delivery dates b/c the items were not in stock at the same time. Understandably, two deliveries means charging two delivery costs, but given that it was not our fault that the delivery had to be split the store attempted to charge us only one delivery charge. Unfortunately, the computer did not agree, and did not show the total charge for delivery pre-purchase. Once the receipt was printed we noticed the double charge and pointed it out. Immediately, the new employees in the new store tried figuring out how to refund the cost, and how to avoid it happening again (the same issue was happening to the couple next to us in the other register). Hopefully by now the computers have been fixed, but given it is a computer error I don't want to hold it against the store's star rating, and just want to warn you in case you make a purchase - be sure the look at your receipt and check it twice! read more

The store is HUGE and they have a huge variety of items like bedroom furniture, living room, outdoor items, bathroom decor and everything you can possibly want for your kitchen and home. The store is very spacious and the way is decorated makes you want to redo your whole house...LOL!!! yeah, an idea hubby didn't take to at all......nah, just kidding but the feeling is there. This store is large, clean, and always organized and looking beautiful. Sales staff is well trained, knowledgable and helpful. This is one of the large C&B stores, which also carries furniture. I think their prices, when it comes to furniture, can be a bit excessive. I have often passed up pieces that I like because of this. A larger than average crate and barrel store, this place has always had the items I found in the catalog in stock when I have wanted them. The people working the floor are well informed not only of what they have on the floor, but also what older models of the furniture they still have in the back, which is often a bit cheaper. When you buy larger items, you pull your car around to the back of the store where the items are brought out to your car and workers will help you lad the items and make sure they are secure. I can't always afford crate and barrel but this is the one I go to when I can because of the selection, but more so because of the customer service. read more

Just wanted to share my good experience with C&B in Gulfstream. I purchased two sofas and an ottoman, using a custom fabric on one piece and combining a sale with a rewards program for a great value. I love this store, which is always clean, bright and attractively merchandised. I was able to see my sofa choice in person before buying, which was important to me. I especially appreciate Rob Sterner's help through the purchase process. He navigated the paperwork with good cheer to get me the best deal possible. I recommend Rob highly!! read more
