She alerted us to the 40% off sale on every piece of furniture in the showroom. It seemed like a consignment store. The owners are the sweetest people I've come across in South Florida, with a story for every big ticket item. Plus the quality of the items here are unmatched. From rare fossils to enhydros, this place is heaven on earth for collectors! The back portion of the shop (my favorite) is made up of tall wooden bookcases, filled with an incredible selection of raw crystal chunks/slabs in antique boxes for you to pick through. Their store is pretty big (looks small from the front), they even made a second floor. Furniture in general you can find anywhere in Miami, but I write this review because I found spectacular pieces there, seriously contemporary beauties that i hadn't seen (very innovative), prices, customer care and hospitality in High Style, i felt were unique. You walk in the store and see marvelous pieces of furniture spread around in different ambients. They seem to have a technique, and to understand the customer who is just walking in, THEY LET U BREATHE; they don't chase you around, forcing you to feel uncomfortable. I was looking to furnish my dining room, and so I did. The prices are actually lower than any other place I visited. I did not only furnish my didning room with them, but decided to return the bed I had bought at another store earlier that week, because High Style's "in-stock" rate and availability, as well as fast delivery was greatly a positive factor. Their customer service is really TWO THUMBS up. The owner attended me with care, humour and the hospitality was tremendous. I was even served with coffee and at times they offered cake or cookies, things they would buy accross the street to make feel at home or in a comfortable and unique, shopping environment. At times I still go, to check out what new things they receive, they are very dynamic with their stock, which i consider positive, since I like to change around the style of my house. As a decorator, I've worked with many stores, High Style was the most friendly of all. They treat everyone (whether buying a table lamp to furnishing their whole house), with extreme care and equal hospitality. Although the high traffic of people, they still manage to care for each with equal care, that I admire. They offer a great variety of services, such as remodeling, all around the house and out of it furniture, and any decoration, thus their slogan "furniture, accessories and art", to chich i think they might be able to include; and remodeling... I am pretty sure their Sunny Isles Location was closed because the terrain was sold or a deal of the sort was made, and they found a new Location in The Diplomat Landing, a vivid shopping mall in front of the Diplomat Hotel in hollywood or hallandale, not sure of the city. Hope it goes all well there as it was before, can't wait until the re oppening, and to maybe hang out there or pass by for a cup of coffee and entertaining hospitality...

I didn't buy anything because I was traveling and going to the beach that day, but everything would've made great gifts for everyone too. It actually would've been nice to figure out a new bedding situation for me when I was there but I was going to the beach and had to run. I met him at an art show and have to truly say the quality of his work is so poor. I am embarrassed with my client because when he had the artwork delivered it was already separating and showing the bad quality of materials. The edges were not straight and the 3 pieces were bowed. I agreed to accept it because the client was arriving and didn't want to have bare walls. He promised within a couple of weeks he would replace it. I starting texting and trying to reach him and he would always have an excuse. The months passed on (will be a year soon) and then he was just plain rude saying he had given me designer prices and that I didn't order anything else from him. How could I, if the work was so poor and cheap. They also did not place the hooks on the back at the same height in order to make a 3 piece work of art look nice and straight on a wall. The actual photo is coming up and it's all bubbled. I had an acrylic made by him, I think CVS would have done a better job. Please be careful this guy talks the talk and does not deliver. And his prices are not low now that I have shopped around. Gives no guarantee on his work and does not follow through. Beware....
