I always say, if we had the money to do so...I would furnish my entire house in West Elm. Love their style and it's nice quality furniture. This West Elm location in Gulfstream Park is huge. We were shopping around for furniture on this particular day and it's nice that there are several furniture store options so close: West Elm, Crate & Barrel, BoConcept, Pottery Barn. We're scoping out living room furniture and the sectionals are so nice. Weighing our options at the moment. I also saw some nightstands I really want too. So smart on the nightstand build with a built-in plug outlet and USB connections on the back of the nightstand. Whoa! Brilliant. The glassware selections are unique and fun too. I'm looking for decorative glassware and they had some nice ones here. West Elm is pricey but I love the modern style. We had a gentleman assist us when we were walking around. I think my husband got his card. He was helpful and attentive to what we were looking for. read more

Great place, products and customer service. Unfortunately the actual delivery of products suck. I order a gift card online. The first card went to wrong address. I cancelled the order and provided correct address for second order. That was Oct 1st for the 1st order and Oct 17th for the 2nd new order. It's now Nov 27th and I still haven't received the gift card yet. The card was ordered online as a birthday gift for my best friend birthday on Oct 19th. I am never late for delivering gifts so I am upset that I'm more than a month late on a gift card to my best friend! Today I decided to go in the store to purchase and just ship myself. Since every time I checked the status online it states delivering 3 days later. There is no way it should take more than 1 month to deliver a gift card. I would have ordered a digitally card but my best friend likes to go in the store and swipe the card. Which she is entitled to do. The gift card in store was not cute at all. Which was very disappointing to get a tasteless card and they didn't offer a gift box or bag to put the card in. I had to ask and the only option I was given was a gift card card holder. I expected more from a store that charges $150.00 or more for some bed sheets. If I wanted mediocre service I could have went to dollar general and it would have also been way cheaper to buy bed set. Plus dollar general would never take more than a month to deliver. I will be shipping her card tomorrow and now she can purchase the tencel bed linen she been dying for all year. I wouldn't purchase from here personally for myself due to this poor service. However if my friends want it I would buy for them again unfortunately. The gift card was for $500.00. I wanted my best friend to hopefully get a queen bed sheet set and possibly a duvet cover. Since she suffers from insomnia. I figured a great bed set just might put her to sleep and stay asleep throughout the night. I only gave the 3 stars for the customer service and the employees at the store. I cannot be more disappointed by their service. We are a good customer with West Elm but those days are over. We bought 2 leather tv chairs and an Ottoman with them. Just before the warranty ended we field a complaint that the base had a lot of play in them and they made a nasty click once you turn the chair. We went back to West Elm in Hallandale and they promised a call from their service department. Nothing happened and we called West Elm. They now claim that the warranty is expired and we have to pay for repair. By the way, it is also a safety risk, in case the base fails! Well West Elm, I have passed this attitude on to all our friends and the message has had his effect. You lost a lot more than you gained by providing no service at all. I will never ever buy anything anymore with West Elm. Plenty of other options in that market guys. read more

Love this place! I could just walk around and dream about redoing my whole house froth must this store alone. Zach, the designer is pretty fantastic, so is Allen. They provide free design services and it can be done in store, virtually, on the phone or in home. They put it all together on a visual display and make it all done to life. Sale items happen sporadically so go often. They're mid century modern so definitely be on the look out for the small space solution sales! read more

Bought furniture to be delivered by Dec 1-6 got order confirmation stating Dec 18-26 cancelled the order on Dec 2nd and was told I had to pay for the shipping internally when the merchandise was NEVER shipped to my home! So far my wife and I have had a terrible experience with West Elm. We ordered a table on 12/2/2022. They said it would be delivered at the end of of December. On the day of delivery, the truck showed up and they forgot to put the table on the truck in the morning. We called customer service and they couldn't reschedule delivery until 1/11/2023. So because of THEIR ERROR, we had to wait almost another two weeks after already waiting a month. On 1/11/2023 the delivery truck arrived again, only this time the table was broken. So AGAIN, we called customer service and they are telling us the next delivery will be another month. So assuming they get it right on the third try, it will be at least 2 months waiting for this table to be delivered. Never again will I give West Elm my business. You would think that they would escalate the issue and prioritize delivery for delivery right away, but no. They don't care about their customers. read more

As all the other reviews state this is just a Horrible company. I wish I read the reviews prior to purchasing anything. If you order anything there is a good chance you will still be waiting for it 6 months after so called delivery date. And then customer service ( it's a joke to even call those nasty people who work their customer service ) will lie to you when the item you ordered will be delivered. I was even hung up a few times by CS. Avoid this awful company at all costs and the CEO and top management should resign. Nightmare on West Elm Street We've purchased a few smaller items from West Elm and have always been impressed with the quality. After considering a few tables we settled in on the Jax table. We place our order in August with a promised delivery date of September. Fast forward to trick or treaters and gluttonously devouring candy and still no table. We contacted customer service and was told that it's faster to cancel the order and re-order choosing in store pickup. We reordered the table with in store pickup promised in November. Turkey day and tryptophan passes and still no table. My girlfriend and I were holding out hope that the table would arrive by Christmas. Just like Tiny Tim those hopes died. Fast forward to January, we receive an email that our table will finally be delivered to the store . Giddy and filled with excitement, .......ok ok that didn't happen I forgot about the damn table. The day has finally arrived. Since we were instructed to do in store pickup I had to arrange for transportation. I promptly rent a Uhaul. Upon arriving at the store we are presented with a raggedy box. I had to do a double take and make sure we hadn't accidentally gone to IKEA. After loading a box which had obviously seen better days. We unload the table top........and that was it. There were no legs in the box and the hardware used to secure the legs clearly had been tampered with. Everyone makes mistakes but after waiting for over 3 months this level of incompetence is unforgivable. read more

Absolutely the worst. We ordered a table, 4 chairs, sofa and bed in May, estimated delivery date was sept 28th. As of recently we received 4 chairs and a table base without the marble table top in late November. We had guests over for Thanksgiving, embarrassingly we had to make a fake table top with a linen draped over. This is the WORST EXPERIENCE Iv've ever had. I bought through West elm online back in September 7th, 2020 a couch and four dining chairs. My order was suppose to arrive first week of December 2020. They never updated me on ANY DELAYS, Ive been the one calling them every week for an update on my order. No one is helpful over the phone, they tell you something different, no one is willing to put you with a manager (what type of customer service is this??) These items were not cheap, I paid over $2,500 for them and the least I need is a company that treats their customers the way they deserve. Today, February 17th, after dealing with them for over 2 months (2-3 times a week calling them) I am done, I don't know what else to do anymore. Last Friday 3 chairs and the couch where delivered after I requested a partial delivery because it was insane how they've been delayed for over 2 1/2 months. Now they are saying they've delivered all chairs, which isn't true. I am requesting my 4th chair and 50% of my money back and no manager is willing to take my calls. West Elm at Gulfstream is a very nice location, it's very clean throughout the store and has a great layout. There's also free parking in the neighboring parking lots. We didn't really get any kind of welcome from staff members (which was fine, we were just browsing and didn't want to be bothered). And it was pretty packed with customers and felt like we were dodging people the whole time we were in there. But overall, I really like their products and the quality of the materials. I placed an order at this store September 12 for an item to be delivered between 9/24 and 10/8. Around 9/25 they pushed the delivery timeframe all the way to late October. I spent hours calling customer service. I heard lies and rude customer service agents who hanged up on me. Finally on 10/17 I finally got the item delivered. West Elm don't have enough furniture to supply their clients and are keeping selling furniture that they don't have available. They are providing false estimates of delivery times to keep clients buying their furniture and shipped several months ( 6-12 months) after their original estimated time. West Elm does not have items that they advertise on sale. I have tried for months to order a Portside C-Table is expresso. And every time the website shows the C-Table avail I go through the steps to order ultimately at the end the order is dropped. Once that happens immediately there is a click on to continue to shop. I believe it is a tactic to get people to find something else to buy if West Elm is out of stock or if West Elm does not have the item to begin with... I would recommend anyone to buy everything at one or not buy at all because the way West Elm works you may order what is stock at the time and there may not be anymore! I cannot praise the Hallandale store enough. Management has gone above and beyond with protocol they have set due to Covid-19. They have a skeleton staff and are working long hours. My orders were placed flawlessly as well as a furniture return that needed to be processed. They were so helpful. I agree with the other user that West Elm is a great place to accessorize. Everything there is beautiful. I searched far and wide for a bedroom set that would be affordable, visually interesting and structurally sound. This didn't exist for me. I ended up at west elm spending more than I wanted on subpar quality, but it's the most beautiful in design that I've seen and will meet my needs for a few years. My major complaint: customer service. Delivery is sourced out and costs $150. The bed was not supposed to be in stock for 3 weeks and they wouldn't deliver and assemble the rest of the furniture (6drawer dresser and 2 nightstands) unless I paid 2 shipping fees. I took home the nightstands in my own car and assembled them myself. Not too difficult (again, it's basically a step above ikea in quality), but one nightstand had a scratch on the face of a drawer. We called and our sales associate, who was very friendly, offered 10% or we could come back and trade it for another fully assembled nightstand the next day. I opted for the latter. We gave a time of 1 pm. The next day, I called around 12:40 to warn that I'd be by to swap the nightstands at 1:15, and we were promised an already built nightstand. The young man on the phone told me it shouldn't be a problem. I'm sure you're shocked to hear that no such nightstand existed when I arrived at 1:20. Obviously I wasn't going to stand around to let the guy at the back door build it while the 4 people waited in line behind me to pick up their items. He did kindly offer to breakdown the box so I could be sure there were no scratches on this nightstand. Then he taped it back up and secured it in my car. About 4 days later we got a call that the bed was in and the delivery was set for later that week. On the morning of delivery, we called to confirm and were told that west elm had called the company to change the delivery date and no one was coming. When my boyfriend explained that he'd changed his entire workday to be home for the delivery and it needed to happen that morning, they magically pulled it together. I have no idea whether West Elm or the delivery company is to blame for the snaffoo, I just know that it's not the kind of service I expect after dropping that kind of money. All in all, the furniture is basically plywood with veneers and I'm afraid to move the bed at all. But it's quite beautiful. I was immediately introduced to a young man named Chase who was delightful. We made an appointment for the next day to put my space on his design computer, and the following day spent two hours laying out my existing furniture and adding what else I would need. He had great taste, and wonderful ideas. I highly recommend him and the store. read more

You can never go wrong with West Elm. This contemporary and affordable design store has everything from furniture to small nicknack's to get your home abode in tip top shape. I'm lucky enough to have one downstairs from where I work. This makes it that much easier to keep up with the latest design trends, and really check out the new items in person. The layout of the store is pretty much like any furniture store, but I do like how they mix up the furniture pieces. This is gives the space a more eclectic vibe and it really shows you how to put together a room. My favorite items at West Elm are the great accessories that really give a space the cherry on top factor. These little and sometimes large items create the finishing touches. Never ordering from them again. I ordered a kitchen table (marble top and base). When the delivery company brought it, I got the marble top and a bed headboard (instead of the table base.) The table base was not at the delivery warehouse (so it was not a delivery company error), so I had to go through the process of rescheduling another delivery for the base (it has to be shipped to the warehouse etc), and having the big box of the marble top waiting. After like 3 weeks, the base was to be delivered--today (i had made arrangements for the delivery earlier in the week.) I called delivery company to find out exact delivery time, and they told me that today's appointment​ was not in their system. So I had to make yet another appointment and still live with the giant box in the middle of the apartment. I can't even say anything yet about the product itself (top is still unpacked in the box, and I have to wait for the base), but I hope it is worth all this frustration. read more
