I recently bought a new bedroom set from CB2 and I have had nothing but a wonderful experience. Mitch was my sales rep and he was very thorough and patient with me. The quality of everything purchased was sturdy and you can tell it is made well. I would definitely buy more items from them. The delivery was exceptional. I had the delivery come in two different days since everything I wanted was not in-stock. The first delivery came even before my scheduled window which totally shocked me since it is usually not that case. The second delivery came within my window. Both times the delivery guys were very professional and made sure I knew which items I was receiving. I picked up an online order a few days from here and although the associates running the online items to the cars are kind, the wait time is pretty long. I waited about 20 minutes for one online order. Even after texting the "number on the sign" by the pickup area, I received no response. No "We are on the way," etc. I had to track down to another associate fulfilling an order to get help. This was frustrating because at this point I had been waiting about 30 minutes. I am sitting outside a cb2 delivery place in Riverview Florida. I drove an hour to get here. pick up hours are 8am to 7 pm. I cannot pick up my chairs because everyone is out to lunch. this is a horrible way to do business. I won't buy from these guys again. read more

Simple but contemporary selection. They have a plethora of items that are minimalistic but give you major luxe vibes. I bought several items here: a beautiful decanter that complimented my home bar perfectly. A small silver wall pocket that was great to put keys in. No mess of keys thrown anywhere or hanging. I loved that the wall pocket has a modern sleek look. I also purchased several wall ledges in black for my home office and in silver and gold for my living room. However, my favorite item has been a plant I bought. Everyone that comes over thinks it's real but it's not. It just looks so close to real. It was the missing piece for my living room. The staff is nice and helpful. The store is two levels so take your time when you're shopping around. The prices are great and the items are stylish. I went to CB2 South beach many times, and I was not thrilled about the customer service . The sales people seems to me that they did not care to explain or show me anything. However, my last visit to the store week before Christmas, I was surprised by the amazing help i received from the sales person Lilian . She was showing me all the good deals around the store and also made phone calls to her manager to inquire about furniture pick up. Lilian went above and beyond. I like CB2 a lot, a Great selection of modern and contemporary furniture and accessories, with clean designs and occasionally a quirky twist for unique addition to any home. I am 5 stars for CB2 selection and style and because of a Manager problem in this store, only 3 stars for the Miami Beach outlet Prices, as with all of CB2. are fair to somewhat expensive depending on the particular piece. Sometimes it's hard to tell until you lift a sticker and get the shock that a simple acrylic stand is $300. Other times, a rustic wood table turns out to be much less than you might have feared. Still a great place to put some individual personality into where you live. And also could occasionally buy accessories as gifts for friends I have bought from CB2's catalog quite a bit, And was very excited when the store opened. It's a good space on two floors and everything is very well laid out. Most of the people who work here are quite helpful and nice. The reason I am only giving it 3 stars however is the company has an unusual policy that if you buy something online, even if it is defective, you cannot return it to the store. You must go through the return shipping process with UPS. That's really inconvenient. Plus, at this particular store, one of the managers, Michael, has an attitude as if you are bothering him from the rest of his work if you have a question or an issue to resolve. On a recent purchase, before Christmas, when the price of a frame I bought had dropped by 50%, One of the sales persons was ready to make an adjustment but he overrode it since I did not have the item with me. Reasons why? - limited selection - everything's white, orange (lots of it), and one other color - the metal stuff are, quite frankly, kinda clanky. (cheap) I can't imagine anyone wanting any of the orange stuff here except the Florida orange growers. I'll stick with Ikea. Or even the regular Crate & Barrel which is tons better than this one - and CB2 may be a twist of it, but they twisted it too much like a towel rag. Can I just say how happy I am that CB2 is finally in Miami?! CB2 is a modern affordable twist on Crate & Barrel. I always had to shop online and prayed for the day a store in Miami opened. Alas, my prayers were answered! Last night I was invited to the grand opening and it was awesome! the two story building is filled with great contemporary decor. What I love about this store is that it focuses on minimalistic furniture with big pops of colors. As soon as you walk in, the sense of orange and green is overwhelming, in a good way of course. This store has everything from furniture, to the smallest accessories. My favorites would definitely have to be their selection of bar goodies and lamps. Very modern and affordable compared to a lot of other places on the beach. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and there's plenty of metered parking next to the store. Starting with great items they do have some pretty darn awesome things, lamps, chairs.. like others have said Ikea-like. I agree also that prices and selection aren't like our great Ikea, however you can actually shop here without getting lost, without having to try to get through a sea of confused customers, so if you do need a little something for your home and are on Lincoln Rd stop by. Business care of their image. But it was an empty reply. Asking me for information, but never said where I had to send it or who should I contact. Now I only realize that Tricia's answer (I do not know if Tricia is a person or a machine) was just to made them look good to all those people who read the reviews. Two days ago I sent an SMS asking where to contact Tricia or where to send the information she was asking for. Still waiting for an answer. I had a Chat in their website. Still waiting for answer. After four trips back to the store , two in which a sales rep told me I just had to wait some time for the funds to show up. This is not a review specific to this location it is for the overall brand. During the past few months, with shipping issues I guess, CB2's delivery times have become unrealistic. What's worse is they lie about it. To give you an example I placed an order in early October for 4 IN STOCK items. Mid November was the delivery date, on that day they lied about showing up to my building & missing me....not true my building has a receiving area with staff.....fine rescheduled for December 28th, today. Yesterday I received a message 1 of the items in my order is on backorder & wont be delivered & today as they are unloading I find out another item is on backorder, so I received 2 items out of the 4 ordered. But up until yesterday I was assured I will be receiving my full order. This is no way to treat your clients, I suggest CB2 provides better training with communication for their staff during these difficult times oh & maybe give out some vouchers for not providing acceptable service. read more

It all seemed rather sterile and safe as in a "what is supposed to be" kind of way. The only reason it earned 3 stars is that I found a desk that was so minimal it made American Outfitters look elaborate. I've been clutching my CB2 catalog closely these past 6 months, anxiously awaiting for the new store to open on South Beach. I love Crate&Barrel but I am a serial apartment dweller, lover of all things trendy, cute and affordable. CB2 did not disappoint in this aspect. Things like large grass-like rugs, funky metal coffee tables, and unusually square dinner plates were rampant and had me running around wanting everything in sight. I have to agree with Jordan N's review in many ways, though. A lot of items come in orange and green options, and frankly, I really wish I liked orange and/or green. But I don't. So I found myself stuck when I found something I liked, but not in those colors. Once I make my first big purchase here, my hope is that the quality is better than Ikea. My current Ikea furniture is falling apart after three years, so once it comes time to replace them with CB2 stuff, I'll be ecstatic if it lasts me a while longer than that. The designs are quite similar, but they're a little more expensive. (still very affordable) It's the perfect store for the beach. All of my friends need trendy and inexpensive furniture with which to fill their appts when they move to the beach!! They're going to do great! I use to be a huge promoter for CB2 but they can't seem to pull it together in the new covid world. Almost everything I have purchased from my place has been from CB2. I love the aesthetic. But the customer service I have received for the past couple of months has been a complete let down. I ordered a painting 2 months ago. The delivery date kept getting pushed back and pushed back and they never notified me. Everyone that I have talked to has just been in a rush to get me off the phone or out of the store without helping me resolve me issues. Everyone keeps telling me something different. People say they will follow up and never get back to me. I am understanding that we are in a difficult times but this should not be so hard and complicated. The painting has finally arrived at the distribution center but I can't schedule delivery for another month. Phone support told me I could call the distribution center to pick up, then they tell me I can't and the associates in the store are in such a rush they can't take 5 minutes to help me see if I can have it sent there. It's a simple painting who would think it would be so hard. I hope for them they can figure it out because they are going to loose a lot of loyal customers. I would advise not to shop here until covid is over the company cannot seem to handle its supply chain. read more

Modern. Minimalist. Magical. I love simplicity! I love bright colors! I love Helvetica! So naturally, I can't not love this place. I don't want to spend a lot on the bigger pieces because I'm in a temporary apartment so I mostly buy my big pieces from IKEA and supplement the decor with CB2 rugs, pillows, mirrors, art, etc. They mesh quite well. I love how everything is arranged and displayed here - great inspiration for decorating! The associates have always been friendly and helpful during my many trips here.Their website is awesome too - clean, organized and as well designed as the store. This famous Spanish designer produces excellent contemporary furniture with a salute to earlier Spanish periods. At the same time we purchased an amazing Lenyx leather sofa. When I moved to Miami I would find CB2 catalogues in the mail on a semi-regular basis. Apparently, hidden piles of sequins aren't the only thing that my drag queen predecessor (true story, btw) left behind...but I appreciate his CB2 fetish much more. I finally made it to their store on South Beach a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised. I was afraid that CB2 would either be (a) prohibitively expensive, or (b) prohibitively boring. Neither fear came to fruition. What a great store...seriously. Products run the gamut in price and form--it's like a miniature Ikea. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom...linens, rugs, art...it's a one-stop shop for those in need of some verve. For those on a budget, you're potential customers too. A lady named, (I will call her K because I don't remember the name but it did start with a K or a C), when asked about her opinion on a wall decor, said I don't know, and it was just simply too hard for her to give an opinion for someone who works at a furniture store. it was like she could not gather 1 ounce of creativity to just answer the question honestly, instead of say, well um, um, I guess it depends on the taste. If I wanted that answer I wouldn't have asked someones opinion. Isn't that what a store associate is for, to help you with your sale? There were 4 people behind the register while I was standing there with my items. Nobody asked me if I wanted to check out. I had to ask someone to please check me out, and I happen to get a new employee (I think by her lack of knowledge of what she was doing). She was nice and apologetic enough but the whole transaction took a lifetime. All the more seasoned employees were around and saw that she needed help, and nobody offered to help. AGAIN, I had to speak up and say I was in a hurry and to please help make the transaction go faster, and to find the items that she could not scan in. Finally I get out of the store, only to find as I looked at my receipt that I had been misquoted a price on a hanging frame, and I was missing 2 of my items. I called the store and the lady who picked up remembered me because she was the one bagging my items, I asked her to please see if she could mail my items to me because I would not be able to come back anytime soon seeing as I live in downtown. She said of course, apologized, seemed nice enough but never called me back to tell me if she would be able to ship my items like I asked her-the next day(Monday). When I called today, Monday, to ask if they had shipped my items, again this lady, K, answered I recognized her voice. And I told her the whole story, even though she was at the register when my transaction was done. She asked me for my invoice number twice, claiming she couldn't find it, and the 2nd time she left me on hold after 8 minutes of being on the phone, mostly on hold, hung up on me! Of course by this time it was 9pm so when I called back I got the voicemail, serious motivation this lady has. Unbelievable customer service. I will never go to that store again. I'm only giving 2 stars because I life the stuff they carry and would have loved to become a long time customer. read more

I got the opportunity to check out CB2's new location on Lincoln Road the day before it opened. This place is awesome. It's packed with cool, trendy furniture you'll want to fill our pad with. Plus, it has kitchenware so you can entertain guests. Downstairs has a orange theme with pillows, rugs, dishes and more in the bold hue. The upstairs is also packed with homegoods and carries a green theme. And I fell in love with about three different loungy sofas. Lamps, rugs, pillows, this place has it all, which is a welcomed addition to Lincoln Road. And, it's affordable. Now that it's within reach you can save those extra shipping dollars and spurge on another throw pillow. read more
