She was lovely, informative, and gentle. She was grateful to be able to have offerred her services for charity and we were grateful she did. Angela went out of her way to help me try to find it at another store, but that wasn't an option, so we ordered the dress online. Angela even helped me find two dresses with similar material so that I could find my right size. She was absolutely spectacular, and I can't thank her enough for helping me. My 5 Stars goes to an employee in the cosmetic department by the name JESKY, she is unique. You won't missed her with the amazing blue color of her hair that goes so well with her carisma and cool personality. I was looking last year for "the perfect makeup" since there is so many this days to choose from. I went around to few stores in Miami Beach and end up here in Macy's. Again so many different cosmetics it gets overwhelming to me. I stop by one of the counters, Stee Lauder and Jesky was there. She is not like those sales person that comes right at you and makes you buy something, no. Jesky welcome me and said that if I need help she will be around. I like that I didn't feel someone chasing me around the whole counter, if you guys know what i'm taking about.. Another employee came and ask me questions, but i just said I was just looking. I decide to go to Jesky and ask her few questions. She gave me few options not just one, and she even ask me if I want it to try the make up. She try few and gave me samples to try 2 to take home. I did and went back like four weeks after and ask her for one more sample of the one I thought it was the perfect shade. Now I went back after few more weeks and guess what? I bought the actual product that she told me from the begging that suits my skin color and my skin situation. What I really like and want to point is this: she was not a crazy sales employee that was just trying to make me buy things that I wasn't going to be happy with. Second, she was calm and confident that by giving me the sample I will try them and for sure that I will go back to her to finally purchase it. This is the way a department store like Macy's should be. I know we all have to make the sale and make the money. But many times we don't even want to pass by this departments to avoid the craziness of the salesperson going around you in the counter and many times is more than one, it's a whole crew chasing you like zombies. I strongly recommend you to come and ask for Jesky at the makeup department. Jesky, will take good care of you with no rush or hassle. I guess I'm kind of surprised by this location. I guess thinking that this Macy's was right off of Lincoln Road, a hub for tourists to spend their money, that it would have a bigger selection inside, but maybe tourists aren't looking for the same sales as I am? Now that being said, overall this is a perfectly fine Macy's. I typically keep to the first floor of this Macy's. Other than the restroom, I have no idea what's even upstairs. The men's department is a little, ok, a lot unorganized with clearance items kind of thrown about. I love a good rummage, but sometimes it's a little too much even for me. Then you have the Macy's associates who are constantly trying to "help" you. They pop up out of nowhere! I feel like it's an episode of "The Walking Dead". BAM- "do you need help?" "Can I put those at the register for you?" I get it. I get it. You want to help or you get commission, but I just want to be left alone. Please leave me, and the underwear I'm about to purchase alone. Like I mentioned, the clearance here is usually good. They also have a decent shoe selection for men. This Macy's is smaller than most. It did not have the bedding area that we needed. They told us to go downtown Miami or Adventura Mall; which both us about 1 bus ride. Too far. My mom bought some new tennis shoes and the Finish Line store (inside of Macy's) and the service was decent. I just busted the men's room and found it to be clean but old facilities. Just about the only thing this Macy's has going for it is the location. It's small, poorly laid out and staffed by folks who just don't care. I am perpetually confused by how the clothing in the women's section is organized. There is casual clothing mixed in among the cocktail dresses, the racks are a mess and I'm not sure they carry petites? I generally come here just for the cosmetics counter. A few months ago, I was helped at Clinique by a woman who was enthusiastic and knowledgable; however I returned last week and the counter was staffed by two non English speakers who couldn't care less. I replaced my foundation and the woman was ready to check me out without asking if I needed anything else. When I mentioned I needed eyeliner and asked about the selections, she couldn't explain the difference; then she picked out a color without even asking which one I wanted. She seriously could NOT have been ruder, and it had nothing to do with the language barrier, which shouldn't even be an issue; it's 2014 FFS!!! At any rate, I will continue to patronize this location solely on the basis of convenience, but the minute I can get free shipping from Clinque, I am breaking up with this Macy's for good! read more

I needed a new swimsuit so I made my way over here while visiting Lincoln road to see what I could find. Honestly, I expected more of a selection in swimwear due to their location. The inventory seemed a bit dated for my style as I searched the racks searching for a suitable contender. I ended up leaving with a pair of jeans instead which wasn't my intention but necessary nonetheless. Parking is usually best at the garage nearby especially for those rainy summer nights. They do have an online ordering option where you can select this location as the pick up location saving you time searching through aisles. It's located right on Lincoln road offering the thousands of tourists that come here daily a solid choice for retail shopping. It doesn't hurt to check out there sales rack, they have a lot of hidden gems. Plus if you use your Macy's card, they offer extra discounts on certain days which makes it a great deal despite the inconveniences associated with its accessibility. read more

Went today to buy jewelry. I was waiting in line and the guy in the jewelry department was waiting on someone. As soon as he finished checking the guy out he walks away without saying anything when he clearly sees me waiting in line. So I go to a lady at t counter talking on her cell phone. She tells me she can't check me out and to go somewhere else. During the whole process I was standing around 25 minutes and not one person tried to assist me. So I put the stuff I was going to buy down and walked out frustrated. It was not even busy. Most of the associates were either on their phone or organizing stuff on their counter. Last day I went to Macys at Lincoln Rd , I passed through Estee Lauder counter , just looking around, in this moment a Lady asked me very kind if I would like to show me the products of Estee Lauder, Marianela, the counter Lady, showed me all the varities of products and showed me all the colors and which was better for my tone of skin, I was delighted with her patience and the way she treated me, that I bought all that I need on cosmetics and also I bought a delicious perfum. Typical Macy's in a cool location. Aside from the flagship store in NYC, I didn't think there were many Macy's not in a mall. I saw this one last time I was in Miami and made a mental note to check it out. This store is much bigger than it looks! That doesn't mean it's big, though. It's two floors which was pretty surprising for the unassuming exterior. I think this used to be a Burdine's which explains the "Sunshine Fashions" light on the outside. Selection is okay and nowhere near as large as your typical Macy's. The store was clean and had that Macy's smell, but some areas were in need of some work. The bathrooms were old and the carpet was a little questionable. But overall it was good, and the fitting rooms were renovated. This was a nice stop while we were shopping at Lincoln Road. The selection isn't as huge as your typical mall store, but it is more interesting than those. read more

I used to be quite pleased with this Macy's because I was always able to find something I liked here. The women's department used to be all on the first floor, with cosmetics, lingierie, and then upstairs was mens, kids and shoes... Now its all backwrads, and they have an even smaller selection of clothing for women. I had ordered merchandise on line to be picked up at the Macy's on Meridian. I went to the designated pick up register and there was no employee in sight. I wondered the entire first floor and finally found a worker. He looked up my order and then disappeared. After 10 minutes h came back and asked me to write my name on a piece of paper. He disappeared again. After 15 minutes I found a gentleman and asked what happened. His response was about the clerk, "he isn't doing his job". No offer to help. A woman came by and asked if we needed help which we accepted. She then disappeared for another 8-10 minutes And returned with the original clerk and my package. I needed some Levi's 501....They are $68 at the Levi's store on Collins Ave. At Macy's, their every day price is $49......I asked for a discount and they gave me another 25% off....$37 for a pair of jeans? SHOE DEPARTMENT SUCKS HARD. Twice I have come in ready to buy shoes and left empty handed. They are so disorganized and so apathetic that they can't even find the mates to the shoes that I want. TWICE. Two separate occasions, two completely different shoes. Incompetency to the max, even for Miami. First I find the shoes I was looking for, on sale for $20, AND my size was the display shoe. It fit perfectly. But when I ask a man behind the counter with a name tag for the other shoe, he gave me a look like I just asked him to pick up my dog's shit, said nothing and pointed to someone else. Two different people go in the back and disappear for 20 minutes at a time trying to find the mate to the shoe.They return empty handed, but tell me they do have it in another color- that is not on sale and is twice the price. I said I'll take it if they give me the sale price. If they can't find the shoes you want to buy due to their own negligence, the least they could do is give me like 15% off the color I didn't want but would settle for. When I asked to speak to the manager, the woman acted like she'd have to suit up and trek to the north pole to find her. "Do you really want me to call the manager? I guess I can try to find her... but I can't do nothing for you." Yeah, I realize you can't do anything for me. What terrible service. I hate this Macy's and only went in to escape the heat. I was excited when I found the shoes I'd been looking for, and then dropped back down because they couldn't get their stuff together to make a sale. But if you have to go while shopping, you still want to be able to do so. Staff is clueless (see below exchange) Salesperson: Can I help you find anything? Me: Well, I'm looking for some denim. Salesperson: (blank stare) Me: Never mind; thanks anyway. Merchandise is completely disorganized. Sale and non-sale items mixed together haphazardly. I live in Canada. Before COVID my wife and I used to enjoy crossing the border and going down to Macy's in Burlington VT. This summer we drove to Burlington, VT. They last time we went to Burlington they had shut down their store. I don't know when they shut it down but it could have been years ago. Recently, we took a trip to Florida. We were so excited because we found a few Macy's that were still open. My wife could only find one bargain. Evereything else was overpriced. My wife tried to use her Macy credit card but it was rejected. We found out that Macy was not accepting Canadian credit cards. I finally had one reason why they are not doing well and why the Burlinton, VT location closed. So many Canadian customers shopped at Macy in Burlington. When they didn't want us, we didn't want them. Canadians during the winter months Canadans spend billion in Florida. You would think that Macy would want a piece of this pie. It seems they don't and it's not because we don't pay our bills. I have a USA issued credit card with a Canadian address, an Amazon account and other USA accounts. No problem. From what I read, it seems most people, if they close, will not be sad, and for good reason. read more

Ran into Macy's today to get a sweater for my Dad. Step-Mom persuaded me on the cell to buy him undershirts instead. A sign on the Polo undershirts clearly said 20% off. I figured at $37.50 x 2 with 20% off, it wouldn't be too bad. At the register, the salesman didn't take off the 20% and I asked him about it. He explained that you have to sign up for a charge card for the discount. You have to read the whole sign. In much smaller print above the 20% off NOT SO CLEARLY it indeed says you need to take out a new card. What a crock! Is this bait and switch? Almost. Remind me why I HATE shopping? I bought the shirts, nonetheless. The thought of going back to the racks was too painful. The idea of paying and being done with shopping hell was the way to go. When I asked for a gift box, the guy said Macy's doesn't have gift boxes! WHAT! A department store without gift boxes. BAD to WORSE! Was I supposed to give my father his gift in a cheap plastic Macy's bag? I bet Walmart (where I have never been and plan to keep it that way to the grave) treats it's customers better. I know they underpay and mistreat their workers, but they must be better at customer relations than this. So he says they sell gift supplies in the middle of the store. No choice here so I go looking. No gift supplies department so I ask a young man about it and he finds me the complimentary box and tissue paper! I like this Macys because you can find some really good deals on the same items being sold relatively close by for a great deal less. There's a public parking garage right across the street. Therefore it's really easy to run in and grab some last minute items for that night out on the town in South Beach. The staff was very pleasant but not very knowledgeable of the merchandise. At Least the gentleman that I encountered wad not. I asked where I could find the pocket squares and he had no idea what I was speaking about. Other than that it's a great spot to find a bargain. So I stopped by this Macy's location to grab some swim trunks. I was surprised by how many sales reps were on the floors - there seemed to be more staff than customers. As I kept asking for assistance I was disappointed by the complete disregard of the employees to help me out. It took my literally 6 attempts of asking for assistance until someone actually took the time to show me where to find the merchandise. Everyone else just sort of pointed at the other end of the store and said that I should try much luck over there. I am typically not as needy but they just made it too difficult. I would not recommend this place unless you enjoy searching through piles of clearance items from 2010 in hopes of finding what you're looking for. read more

So this is a pretty small Macy's but is conveniently located right by Lincoln Road. I've been lucky to find some great deals here in a pinch, even though it is tiny my department store standards. The thing that matters to me is they normally carry a bunch from 2 brands that fit me the best: BCBG & French Connection Plus they usually have some sort of discount that makes the prices either comparable or cheaper than on-line.
