Tape failing - bows fall off
Paul S.

Wrapping paper looks cool, and is expensive - we are throwing it away - sick of tape not sticking to it, so you have packages that are opening, bows falling off

I've been a Container Store devotee since the my junior high school years. What first began with purchases of amac boxes to fill with candy and decorate with paint pens for friends quickly morphed to real storage solutions for my college dorm room. I still remember the awesome green milk crate I took to college along with the bright colored tubular hangers and clear shoe boxes. The Container Store never disappoints when it comes to offering storage and time-saving solutions. This particular store is a new format for the company. It is one of only two Custom Closet stores in the nation, focused on providing a showroom for closets and completion items. Located on N. Dallas Parkway just north of the Galleria Mall, the store has ample parking and is handicap accessible. If you make your purchase online, pull up to the front door and park in the designated click and pick up parking space. A wonderful store associate will quickly bring your purchase to your car. How awesome is that? But, I suggest just going inside. I mean, who wants to miss seeing all of the amazing items in person? Inside the store, be prepared to be amazed. There are closets and solutions for every budget. I love seeing the many different design/storage solutions for bedrooms, offices, living rooms, garages, kitchens and more. If you have a desire to organize your life, home or office, this place is for you! Bring in measurements of the room or space you want to organize. They are always ready to design spaces for walk-in customers but, I suggest calling ahead and snagging an appointment. This confirms that you will not have to wait at all. It's a great service and one I have found very helpful. Sales associates love helping solve storage dilemmas. The main focus of this store is creating custom closets. You can take a look at real-life spaces using Elfa, Avera & Laren products. From the industrial look of classic Elfa in white or platinum finishes to the fully customized Laren line, there is definitely something for every taste and pocketbook. Be sure to sign up to be a POP star (perfectly organized perks) on the Container Store website. This is how they give out digital perks/coupons. It's FREE and is awesome. They randomly give out digital perks to POP stars from 15-30% off an item. It also means you never have to have a receipt to return anything. I love that! Give yourself plenty of time to peruse this store. They are constantly adding new products so there are numerous reasons to keep stopping by the store.

Need a hammock for your bananas? (TWSS) How about a 3 sectional hamper so you don't have to sort out delicates, darks and whites from a big pile? Or I know what you need...an entire shelving unit for your shoes! You name it, they've got it. Before I step through their doors I have allot myself a budget and a certain amount of time that I'll spend in this store. Kristina is right...if you're a obsessive compulsive, anal-retentive control freak...this store is for you! If Yelp and I weren't having the love affair that we are, I would totally go on a date with Container Store's employment office. Everyone always looks like they're having such a good time working there and it really shows in the way that they interact with customers. I'm typically one of those "I'm just lookin' around" customers that when asked for help refuses it (even if I need it). Not at the Container Store...I ask away, because I know they genuinely want to help me find the best product available. Things can get a bit pricey in there, so if you're just looking for a paper towel holder, I'd suggest Targét or Wally World. But if there's just that *certain* something that you don't think you'll ever be able to find, trust me...it's at the Container Store.

The one thing that bothers me is that since the Elfa is only held at the top and bottom, it rattles when you close the door.

This is my first time writing a review like this and I am not taking it lightly. I went to the…read morestore at the Dallas Galleria during a visit to Dallas in December 2019. I was excited to support a smaller store and to find some home goods for my home in LA. Kevin and his wife helped me and I purchased the items (over $200) and paid for the suggesting shipping back to LA. Kevin charged me, gave me his card and told me the items would be shipped to my home in Los Angeles within a week. I have never received the items (SIX MONTHS LATER) and have contacted them via email, text and phone. Once (See attached photos) I did receive a message back on Instagram (back in January) but never heard back from them since. I took this up with my bank (I mistakenly paid with a debit card) and because of the length of time I waited to report this they said that the merchant: "Harper Worn and Weathered" had gotten back to them and refused to give me a refund. The bank told me to report them to the the Better Business Bureau which I will also do besides leaving this review here. This has not been handled properly or fairly and I want to warn anyone from dealing with this business. All I was asking for is for them to get back to me and if they couldn't ship my items for any reason- they could just do the right thing. Refund the amount I paid for and be professional enough to return my messages. I have not been in Dallas since December and during our current situation I don't have any plans to be there in the near future. Bottom line? I have paid for the items and never received them!!!

Cool shop. Helpful employees. Enjoyed walking around and looking at the vintage merchandise.read more

Right when I walked in, a nice looking gentleman greeted me sincerely. As I walked the store, he had interesting tidbits to share with me about certain pieces that really added to my experience. This place is quality in every way and I've already told friends, family and my interior designer. Although rustic is not my style, I will be back as a few things caught my eye and the customer experience was top notch. So if rustic is your thing, the Arrangement is where you go.

More like The Covid Arrangement. In my first five minutes in the store today, a female employee…read morebreezes past calling out, "Hello, let me know if I can help you with anything." I called back, "YOUR MASK IS COMPLETELY OFF." Like, she wasn't even doing the nose-uncovered fake--the mask was literally around her neck. She called back, "Oh, haha *giggle*" I saw her at the other end of the store a few minutes later. Her mask was on, but then she removed it to talk to me. I saw her a few minutes later speaking to another customer, and the mask was completely off. I said to myself, "Screw this." As I was leaving the store, another male employee was strutting through the store completely maskless, as well. I now wonder if the maskless lady was the owner, Katherine Snedeker, since this cavalier "who gives a f&*k about the health of my customers and co-workers" attitude seems to be part of the culture of the company. Must be Republicans. No more of this company for me, ever. Are you hearing me, Katherine?
