It took 2 calls and 2 emails before I was finally contacted for the injections (March 25). Now, I've called the store, my salesperson and emailed the booking dept checking status on tree trimming. Finally got an email April 13th that says "I do see you purchased it, but it did not populate on my end. I will reach out about the date as soon as I receive that paperwork." It's April 16th and no response or update. I have used another tree trimmer in the past who comes out same day! It's ridiculous at this point. If you're busy at least tell me. Will not use them for maintenance in the future.

This was my first visit since they moved to a new location on Greenville. The new location has more…read moreparking but is not necessarily easier to get out of. The nursery has not changed. They have every flower, plant, or tree that you can imagine. They have fertilizers, soil, mulch, and other soil additives. They have bug and pest remedies. They have adornments for the yard such as wind chimes. Customer service remains much better than at the box stores. Prices seem to have increased a lot but I guess that is true for everything, everywhere. This is a go-to first choice for plants and plant care in Lake Highlands.

On my recent visit here I was taken back by how many times I was engaged by employees who offered assistance. In a world where many businesses seem to be digressing from customer service, I found Calloway's attention to it quite refreshing. I was also impressed by the huge selection they had here. They had great selections for every area in my yard, whether it be shady, sunny, or somewhere in between. In addition to plants, they had gloves, yard tools, decor, and more! Pretty much almost anything you could need. They also had some pretty cool moss birdhouses, one of which came home with me! Calloway's has fairly reasonable prices, on most things. You came out in early spring, to provide an estimate, when the sun rises further to the south (this area was shaded at that time) but as we get further into the summer the sun is further North (it's in full sun now). We talked about this! Being the professional landscaper, you should know how the seasons affect the sun/shade in planting areas with fences and structure nearby. In stead of making good on your mistake, you wanted to sell us other plants which we declined because we already paid you to landscape this area. You recommended what plants to plant! The repairs made on the pavers and underground drain is ugly. The pavers have a noticeable dip in them because you reset a small section rather than fixing it correctly. All the pavers should have been reset to slope away from the covered patio. After resetting the pavers, you did not fill in the spaces between the pavers. You would know this if you ever inspected your crews work but you've never been back since providing the estimate. You would have also seen the damage they did to our new gutters. And by the way, we are very pleased with the work our contractor did on our outdoor living space.

There was not as big of a selection of herbs as I would have liked but they have a house plant area that has some beautiful variations of begonias, pothos, and so many other variety of plants. If you are in the Richardson area you must certainly pop in and see what you can find to add life and color to your home.

The photo wasn't of anything bad or wrong, it was not misleading or a misrepresentation, it was a legitimate photo of the outside area of the location that she says is shared with a landscaping company, tho what landscape company I do not know. The reasoning stated to me was that the landscaping company didn't want the photo of their area published. The photo was of the locations surroundings just as any Google maps search would provide, so it's not anything that can't be seen anyway. It showed their "shared space" which being "shared" still makes it part of this businesses space which serves as sort of a parking area. The rating on this review is based on the point of contact by the owner to manipulate the initial review by requesting removal of a photo that is a true representation of what is surrounding the business, part of their "shared space", this removes what is also a visual to allow others to find this out of the way place that is not on any main road. I don't feel it is appropriate for a business to private message a Yelp member for the sole purpose of manipulating what is on the review.

Do not bring food unless you're willing to share or you'd like to bribe for the company. I had leftovers from Soirée down the street in tow which resulted in a sweet shopping buddy. Anyway, their plant selection is MASSIVE and I didn't go in looking for anything in particular and left with two new plants and a new human friend. They have the basics all the way up to the trendy like the Giganthus (pictured) and are super knowledgeable and willing to help with any of your plant needs. Even for some good advice on how to ACTUALLY use that banana water without killing my plants. Point being, I'll be back. It's a cool place. Now I realize that THIS is the quintessential store, superior in just about every way. It makes the Lewisville store look like the red headed step child of the company. It's so massive that pretty much everything At Home has to offer is in stock. It is especially evident when you shop on their website and choose store pickup for shipping. The Farmers Branch location shows up again and again as having products available while others are out of stock (or I suspect they never had them in the first place). Furthermore, the merchandise is more organized, shelves are neater and it's just a generally cleaner space. This is as good as At Home gets.
