Advertising does work! Let me explain. After visiting the Nasher Sculpture Center for an over due art fix,we found ourselves close to downtown for lunch at Flying Fish. After leaving lunch I decided to cruise around the area and see if any interesting shops were open, Out of the corner of my eye I glimpsed a shinny object in a store window. So, I put the auto in reverse and backed up to see what it was. I knew the minute I looked in the window what the store was. Ive been seeing their advertisements for several years in magazines with the intention of going by. The second I walked in I was dazzled! With all the chaos happening in the world I hope it drives people to look inside and seek deeper meaning in life and nature, personally it makes perfect sense to me that being around crystals and natural elements is good and cleansing for the mind, body and spirit (and chakras). It warmed my heart to see the wonder in my moms eyes as we perused each and every piece as this is a gallery and a store, the (?) owner/manager greeted us and invited us to take photos and videos. As I have worked in design and home building I could imagine getting back into the field and filling my clients homes with all sorts of pieces from amethyst side tables to agate counter tops. I removed one star because I was a bit disappointed that after we scanned the store alone for quite a while it wasn't until two other women came into the store that the owner/manager mentioned she had samples, small items for sale and was more chatty and inquisitive with them. My mother had also asked about where pieces were sources and was surprised that she got a vague answer, but we enjoyed our visit! read more

I find Empressive Earth Gallery a truly special place. The geodes, minerals, coral, and fossils are amazing. The gallery's variety is absolutely incredible. Whatever your budget, you can take a small geode or mineral for a nightstand or desk or a larger piece for an entryway, dining room table, or a stand-alone piece. They even have the most beautiful lamps and tables, also available. You can spend hours looking at all the pieces. Whenever I have out of town guests, this is their favorite destination, hands down. Months later, my guests still talk about the gallery and that we have to go back their next visit. The COO of my company said, "Wow" upon entering the gallery and he was definitely impressed. A very beautiful and awesome collection of rare earth materials from our beautiful earth. I'm partial to the fossils due to being a nerd of the Jurassic park film generation, but their entire collection is stunning!! Very friendly and personable staff as well. Empressive Earth Gallery is amazing when you walk in as well as when you engage with their employees. Back in 2016, I bought a beautiful piece of Fluorite as decor for my living room. When I moved in 2020, my movers broke the stone off it's stand. I called Empressive to get a quote for repair and spoke with Micah. He was so helpful and offered to repair it at no cost. They have beautiful products but fantastic customer service at that. Definitely recommend checking them out for a beautiful piece for your home! read more

I was very excited when Dallas finally got what I thought would be a top quality mineral shop! Amazing specimens are here to be sure. Shocked however when I discovered the owner was trying to convince me her son was a certified Gemologist AND Geologist AND a Master Valuer. After we met the son and he spoke to my husband, who is a certified Geologist, we knew immediately this was a lie. Over priced specimens that were not always top quality. So disappointed in our visit that while I loved the showroom, I cannot purchase here because the owner is not truthful. Perfect place if you have large sums of cash to blow and do not care about the true value of the investment. read more
