Jeff stated there was a $50 dollar deposit which goes towards the final price of the repair which was cool. I paid the deposit, didn't hear from Jeff the day of or the next so I called Sunday and was told he's still checking it out(still no pricing). Monday(today) get a call that it's ready and he fixed an internal battery and I asked if it holds a charge(answer was yes) and there's an extra $15 dollar CHARGE. I get there and it turns on but still doesn't hold a charge and one wrong move of the power cord and it shuts off instantly!!! I try to give him the extra $15, he states it's an extra $50. I didn't argue or anything with him and drove to atm to get it and asked for a final receipt which seem he didn't want to give to me after giving him the $50 dollars and was told alright man smh. Jeff was bothered after me paying and him writing out my receipt stating that people think it's cheap etc blah blah blah and I never cried about his extra $50 which totals $100 but wanted another $30 dollars on top of that for the battery not holding a charge... As a business owner, I would never give out this kind of customer service leaving customers in the blind and also unfinished work. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. BEWARE - BEWARE - BEWARE!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS…read moreREPAIR COMPANY!!! The repair guy in CONYERS, Jeff, and Gerard in MARIETTA took advantage of my mother and if they can take advantage of a sweet elderly lady they WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU! My mother took her kindle to this place in Conyers because it was near her home and they said they could replace the plug for $75, which would be cheaper than buying a new one. When we dropped it off, Jeff said it would be ready in 24-48 hours and she had to pay $75 upfront. After a couple of weeks (and MANY excuses later), Jeff told her he didn't know if her kindle was fixed but if she wanted to go to Smyrna she could pick it up. She was NEVER told he was sending it anywhere when she dropped it off. She told Jeff (more than once) she does not drive but he kept telling her if she wanted her kindle she could go get it herself. After several more weeks (and MANY more excuses) he finally told her that he would get the kindle back. We had to meet him at a gas station (because it was convenient for him) but he did give her back her kindle. He really couldn't tell us if it was fixed, but he told her if we got it home and it was not fixed he would refund her money AND fix the kindle. Of course it wasn't fixed. After leaving several messages for Jeff, he finally called my mother back and said he couldn't refund her money-she would have to talk to "Gerard in Marietta" about that. And then had the nerve to tell her he wanted to get her kindle again (yeah right) because now he thinks it's the battery that's the problem....as if he ever even looked at it!! My mother got the same run around from Gerard. NO help, NO refund!

After the repair, the…read morelaptop worked, but I later discovered it was running on a 128GB SSSTC SSD--a very small, low-end drive I never authorized or discussed with the shop. When I asked for clarification, the business stated they had diagnostic photos, hardware inventory screenshots, and a detailed report proving the SSD was already in the machine at the time of service. I requested copies multiple times. They did not provide a single photo, screenshot, or document. The customer portal they referenced contained only an invoice and the laptop's serial number. When I asked again for the documentation they claimed existed, the shop refused to send it and insisted they would no longer communicate in writing. They stated that any further discussion must take place only in person, which prevents any verifiable record. At no point did they provide the evidence needed to confirm their claims. My review is based entirely on written communication and the business's refusal to provide the diagnostic documentation they repeatedly referenced.

On November 13, they sent me an email stating that they had run tests but found nothing, and that opening the case was required for further investigation. However, claiming that the screws were in poor condition, they demanded $80 for this procedure. Only for opening the case! I realized that I was dealing with scammers. I had previously opened the laptop case myself without any issues when replacing the battery, following instructions I found on YouTube. I immediately retrieved my laptop from them and, acting on advice I found online, connected it to my smart TV. The image on the television screen did not flicker. The diagnosis took all of three minutes. Subsequently, I purchased a new screen for $150 on Amazon and replaced it myself, again following instructions from YouTube. The laptop has been working without any problems ever since. Do not get involved with these scammers.
