But it was alright - tasted acidic. Although my coffee was just alright! Random things that I appreciate- they have a self serve water station and their blender has its own little cabinet. I ordered a regular LG iced latte. It's good and creamy. I wish there was more coffee in it. The milk kind of overpowers the coffee on this one. The employees were nice and friendly. They delivered everyone's orders on time with a smile. It was a nice and quiet clean relaxed atmosphere until someone brought their dog in that kept loudly barking and sniffing my leg. This is a small location on the corner of PCH and Main Street. It's part of a tiny strip mall with a parking lot but I've rarely found any problem finding a spot. I most recently came for a hot vanilla latte one weekday afternoon. It was quiet with no customers at that moment. My order was immediately taken and handed to me within a couple minutes. I took it to-go and found it to be immediately drinkable and had smooth flavor of both coffee and vanilla. Very satisfying. I've been going to Coffee Bean for years, i've watched the concept deteriorate over the last few years, I love the Coffee and especially the nugget ice. I've recently moved to Seal Beach and found the staff at this location the worst I've ever experienced at a Coffee Bean, they do not value their customers, by far the most unfriendly staff of any location I've ever visited. Finally, a few months ago I stopped going to this location and started going to the Huntington Beach location and found the same lack of care for customers there as I did in Seal Beach so have stopped all together going to any coffee beans. I invested in a nugget ice machine and now I have my coffee at home. Attempting to use my free VIP monthly drink. I want to redeem it. Given the fact it was free bowed to never spend another dime at any Coffee Bean, unfortunately, I couldn't even get my free drink right I asked for a dry cappuccino, set there and watch them add water to it, when I asked them why they added water they said oh no, we didn't not add any water. This month decided to go to the Seal Beach location to get my free drink once again they can't even get a free drink right, their espresso machine was down. This direction in attitude and rude staffing must start at the top with leadership. I'm sure of it. I would challenge their CEO to contact me so I can enlighten him on how I've been treated by his employees that he leads. read more

I stopped at this location today and requested a refill on a tea and I provided my receipt. I was asked for the first time by the supervisor, Hannah, for my used cup. I responded that I had never been asked to provide a used cup for any tea refills. I asked if this was something new that the company has started because I have been to several other locations and have been assisted by other supervisors and no one has ever asked me to give them my used cup for a refill. In the past it has taken this location over 30 minutes to prepare a two item mobile order. Today I placed an order 18 minutes before I went to pick up. Not ready, I couldn't wait because I needed to clock in for work. Called so I could get a refund, no answer. Went in during my lunch break, they remade my drink but no apology. I really never tried anything here, but the menu was easy to understand and the staff knows what's up also. The iced Carmel latte is where its at. As for food, they have some good choices on bagels. It was getting late but we had a long drive home... opted for my go-to for this chain being the Mexican Hot Chocolate. Yum! I just cannot have coffee in the evening as I will be up all night. Also ordered was hubby's Americano coffee. He loves it so much here that he can almost have it without cream. Almost. Perfect for him. I note that at every location I have to ask for the hot chocolate to be heated up a bit more after receiving it at the counter but that is my personal taste. I do not want to be able to guzzle a hot cocoa. Service was alright, nothing over the top. No line up either on this busy Main St which was a plus. Prices average, I think cheaper than Starbucks. Vanessa is HORRIBLE. This store is usually 5 stars and one employee with an absolutely disgusting attitude brings it to a one. I am a regular, almost daily customer and have never felt so disrespected. Vanessa is the kind of employee that is a cancer to a company. She went out of her way and actually stopped helping the customer she was with to interrupt me and tell the person helping me that they couldn't fulfill my request, a request that every other employee over the past year has fulfilled without question! I stated that it's never been an issue amd she gave me a dirty look and said sorry. To make things worse, Vanessa then stepped away from the register to make the drinks for my fiancé and I. I was appalled at her obvious and unusual grudge against me as she sloped together a drink that was clearly not made correctly. I asked very nicely for it to be remade as it was definitely not right. Vanessa quite literally rolled her eyes and threw the drink about three feet, with major attitude into the trash. At this point there are people looking at her as it's a busy Saturday morning in seal beach. I just kinda shrug and hope she manages to do a better job on round two. She then slams the drink down with so much as any kind of eye contact and says "there ya go". Again, in all my years of dealing with Coffee Bean I have never encountered anything but pleasant people, until Vanessa at the Seal Beach location. YUCK, SHE'S JUST A GROSS PERSON.
