best experience. Came here because I popped a couple of flowers of my LV Bag. Took my bag to LV and they didn't do anything with it for 6 months. I went and had my bag picked up and brought it here. Best decision I ever made. If you need your shoes or bags brought back to life or repaired you have to come here. Staff were great and each one was actually nice. I found the price to be perfect for a bag that cost so much. A pleasure to do business with and now will be a life long customer. read more

What a terrible place! I left my Gucci heels to get fixed in January, but I never heard back from them. I had to go three times to check on my shoes because no one would give me an answer. Finally, I found out they had lost my shoes. Then, they told me that one of the Gucci bottoms was missing. They didn't know what happened to it. These heels can't be worn without the bottom. I told them I wanted money for my shoes, but they gave me no answers. They finally called me at the end of August, after taking seven months. When I went to pick them up, they replaced the bottom with a regular bottom, not even the Gucci one. I thought I wouldn't notice, but it was obvious. What an irresponsible and dishonest place! There was another lady there complaining about their work. Don't bring your shoes here! read more

I am very disappointed with this place. My YSL sandals needed a simple repair--just gluing the bottom back onto the sole. The store where I purchased them recommended The Cobblers, assuring me they were trustworthy and did quality work. I sent photos of my sandals and was quoted $200 just to glue them, which I felt was outrageous. When I brought them in person, I was quoted $85 instead, which seemed more reasonable. I also brought a pair of platform slides, and Sami (who introduced himself as the manager and part owner) told me they needed both gluing and a rubber sole replacement. Based on that, I left both pairs to be repaired. When I returned to pick up my shoes, the soles on the platform slides had not been replaced. When I asked Sami why, he checked the computer and said, "I wrote just to glue them." That was not what he told me when I dropped them off. I would never have agreed to pay the amount I paid just for a glue job I could have done at home. I left the shoes because I was promised additional work. To make matters worse, the glue job was mediocre--you can clearly see the glue from the side. I paid $70 for something that was not what I was promised and was not done well. I will not be returning, and I would caution others to be careful. In my experience, they did not deliver what they said they would, and the quality was disappointing. read more

First time they lost my Louis Vuitton bag because they were switching to inside service versus sending it out. Took them six months to find my Louis Vuitton bag and I had to call them once a week in order to get results tried giving them another chance since they said, they're doing everything in house now and it's been two weeks, and the phone is off the hook, and they don't reply to any of my emails. When I drop the shoe off, they said they didn't know how long it would take because they're not the main guy. Also tried their chat service and no response. The service is horrible. I highly do not recommend especially for the price that you pay. read more

My sneakers arrived at the facility on 08/06/2022. Received job complete email and payment instructions on 12/8/2022, but only received before but no after photos. Started hearing about a lot of complaints with this company, so emailed for before and after pictures with no response. Received email on 04/16/2023 describing they could not complete repair due to it being beyond their cobblers skill set. The shoe was sent in for some yellowing only. Waste of time and still don't have my unfinished sneakers. You better run from this business because they're scamming people. Look How they tried to request my payment on an unfinished item. I am still away for payment for the white Chanel 19 medium that this company has had for over 5 months. When visiting Miami in July I visited the location and they showed me my handbag and it looked like it was painted with white out. I have had my lawyer write three demand letters. So the next step will be filing a lawsuit for the repayment for my handbag that they damaged. The handbag which they still have in their possession looks worse than the minor color transfer I had on it. And lastly, I keep getting emails for other patrons orders which are not even mine. In fact, the customer service team has called my cell at least 3 times about someone's else's order. When I ask about my order I'm told it's been escalated to a manager. Anyways this company is totally irresponsible and I will be suing for damages for by handbag. read more

I shipped my vintage Louis Vuitton wallet (my great aunt's, irreplaceable), a Louis Vuitton Neverfull from 2018 and the matching wristlet. I received a giant box today containing the Louis Vuitton handbag; last week I received a box containing only the matching wristlet. My Louis Vuitton wallet wasn't in either box. I searched the giant box today to find zero packing material and only the bag in a black sack, and the box had a huge hole at the bottom where it was haphazardly taped together. My four year old could have done a better tape job. Unacceptable. There was zero communication from this company after shipping my items to them over a month ago and multiple attempts to get in touch with them. I got emails two weeks ago saying my items were ready and requesting payment, but i requested photos before issuing payment via email. Several days went by and I got no response. I grew concerned and decided to issue payment so i could at least get my items shipped to me. That was a big mistake. $845 was paid and I now have only two of the three items I sent in. I've tried calling their 1800 number (just disconnects you), using their online chat feature, emailing them, scheduling a visit with an expert to try to find out where my wallet is (seems disabled with my account), and contacting the company via Instagram and Facebook messenger. Crickets. I filed a claim with UPS moments ago, but I have little hope that will get anywhere. I am extremely frustrated as I can't reach a live person at UPS nor at Cobblers. 4/18/2022 Submitted a dispute through my financial institution. Nearly 3 months of chaos, and I'm sending the glitter Louboutin's that The Cobblers damaged to the Leather Spa. Use this company at your own risk!!!!! ----------------------- 4/15/2022 Still no resolution, and response times have deteriorated back to their usual when they had my shoes. I've requested that they process the refund we agreed to and I'll have my shoes repaired elsewhere. What an absolute waste of time trying to follow up and get this fixed. ------------------ 3/28/2022 Alejandro has been communicating on repairing the remaining issues since 3/22, and we may have reached an agreement. While I'm hesitant to send them back, I do feel like they deserve a chance to get it right. ------------- 3/21/2022 I did receive two of my three pairs of shoes back Friday and have reached out about the issues again, with no responses. I expected the heel taps to be wrong, they were. What I didn't expect was the complete mismatch of the glitter used for the repairs. Especially after being told that the dragonfly's would take longer since the custom glitter had to be ordered. ----- I had my first video consult with The Cobblers on 1/28/2022 at 3:00pm and was pleased with the recommendations for the fist 3 pairs of Christian Louboutins I would be sending in for repairs. After some issues with my address being incorrect I was able to ship the shoes and they were received on 2/15. I expected the process to take up to a month, since the glitter for the Dragonfly's had to be special ordered. The agreement was these would be shipped when they were ready, and my other two pairs would take approximately two weeks. This is where the wheels fell off. Communication and customer service is non-existent. I received an email to complete the payment, which I had agreed to do after receiving photos of the repairs. There were no photos included and I reached out to get these, and immediately noted the issue. As discussed during the consult the heel taps were red, and in great shape. These were only to be changed if there were more durable RED heel taps that would be used. Instead, the OEM taps were removed and black heel taps were installed. After many messages about someone would contact me, they've reached out to operations, I've reminded them to call you, there was still not a resolution. And there were also not photos, after repeated requests, of my other two pair of shoes. When photos were sent, there are many remaining issues. The dragonfly's do not appear to have had the glitter repaired Black heel taps on the So Kate 120mm Kraft Loubi. The initial photos of the red/black DegraLoubie's showed no repairs, and after emails about this, a photo was uploaded with black toe taps instead of clear toe taps. I have received no replies about the remaining repair issues with each pair of shoes. I do not fault the cobblers that are performing the work, this is clearly a systemic issue with communication and correctly inputting order information. Even if the shoes arrive back to me in perfect condition, I can't say that I would recommend The Cobblers given the stress, hassle, and lack of customer service throughout the entire process. The shipping shows that they will be delivered tomorrow after insisting that my shoes be returned, and I'll be sure to update this review over the weekend and include photos. This new Fashtech idea of theirs is great, and the website is amazing. But guys, and I mean the management at The Cobblers, you have to do better than this. read more

Watch Out! These guys have a fancy website but the work they do is very expensive and of very poor quality. Do not be fooled by their website photos. I had an upper leather repair job for a nearly new Air Jordan. I sent photos before sending the shoe and the representative assured me that they keep Air Jordan supplies in stock and that he would use identical color and texture leather to patch the shoe. What I got back is almost funny - if it was not such a scam. As you see, the patch was done with some sore of suede that was dyed unevenly - and much darker than the rest of the shoe. I have tried to resolve the problem but they offer no phone support and the email support stopped talking to me after first acknowledging that the repair did not look right. Here is my email correspondence with them. I got one reply and then they stopped responding. Order #39023 5 messagesEric Singleton ericcsingleton@gmail.com Mon, Jan 17, 2022 at 2:21 PM To: The Cobblers support@thecobblers.com Hello - I just received my order from the Cobblers. The packaging is amazing. Thank you. While the shoe cleaning service was excellent, I am not happy at all with the repair to the upper collar of the right shoe. I am attaching photos for your reference. My primary complaint is the choice of materials. The leather used for the repair is a suede variety while the original shoe uses a smooth polished variety. I certainly understand that no repair will match the original exactly. However, I did expect that the original type of leather and dye would be used in the repair. This was a specific question I asked when meeting with the repairman the first time. Altogether, I see three errors in this repair: patch leather does not match the texture or color of the original. there is no fill material used to pad the repaired part of the collar. The eyelet for the lace was not punched through with a dowel as large as the original holes. A shoelace cannot even go through the eyelet. Please get back to me so that I may get an idea of how we may resolve my concerns. I had the privilege of trying this place from a Yelp Elite Experience. We had the option of either their heel tips service or a basic shoe cleaning. I only wear sneakers to work out, I'm almost always in heels or sandals, so for me the hell til service was perfect. I have several heel tips that are worn or completely gone due to walking around in heels all day, many times outdoors, at work. Sidewalks can be the death of heels. Anywho I knew the exact pair I wanted fixed. My suede Nine West heels that I keep underneath my desk at work. I always keep a pair of heels in my office just in case of emergency (heels breaking, I forget to bring heels, etc). They aren't fashionable or high end shoes or anything but they get the job done in a pinch. The heel tips on these shoes both were completely gone due to them getting stuck in cracks on sidewalks. I was hoping they weren't too far gone to be saved. When you walk into the Cobblers, you're immediately hit with an intoxicating scent of fragrance. Inside is clean and beautifully decorated, it looks posh. I provided my name telling them I am here for the Yelp experience. I had to give them my contact information, I dropped off my shoes and off I went. Very quick process. About 3 weeks later I received a text and an email that my order was ready for pick up! When I arrived to pick up my shoes, again the process was quick and easy. The woman helping me was very friendly. She handed me my shoes gift wrapped and in an easy to carry box. Love the presentation and attention to detail. I am so impressed that I inquired into having my Gucci wallet cleaned. The employee gave me the prices and an approximate timeframe it would be ready. I plan on coming back for that service. I couldn't be more impressed with The Cobblers and I highly recommend them. Thank you, Diandra, for this unique experience! read more

Checking in was very easy, no confusion or hiccups. I dropped off a pair of suede Jimmy Choo pumps and I didn't have any expectations. I really liked the fact that they sent updates and before and after photos because I had forgotten to. Picking up the shoes was also a seamless process. My shoes looked practically new! They cleaned the suede & touched up the damaged heel. My shoes really look great! One thing I would note is that this staff is not pushy over overly friendly which has pros and cons. There was no wait to be greeted, however, there was no "Welcome!!!! Hiiiii!!!!" Which I was ok with. When I picked up my shoes I noticed that the bottoms needed repair/protection. No one tried to sell me this service but it also wasn't brought to my attention nor was I told it was available. If I was aware I would have added it to my services. I will be returning and have already told friends to give them a try. read more

Really love everything about the experience. The shop is clean, large and displays their work from high-end sneakers to shoes. They underpromise and over deliver--I was quoted 2-3 weeks and received my shoes in one. They can do basic cleaning to deep cleaning to complete refinishing. I FINALLY received my bag back, almost 2 months after I received notice that it was complete and paid the fee. The necessary repair (re-piping the edges) was complete. It was cleaned as requested but the interior is very dusty and has a bit of a smell to it. It was shipped in a way that the bag arrived crushed into a space that was too small so it needs to be reshaped a bit. In that two months since I paid, I had no communication from the company. I reached out through every avenue I could think of, even messaging the founders on LinkedIn. I was so close to filing a police report and a claim in small claims court. This is appallingly bad customer service, particularly for a company that was previously incredibly responsive and communicative. I'm grateful to finally have my bag back (hopefully mine, I'm running to a store later today to ask them to verify) but I would never ever recommend anyone use this company. read more

The Cobblers are hucksters and thieves. A pair of rare, valuable, and beloved sneakers of mine were entrusted to them for restoration back in November of 2022. They took a partial payment and then made excuse after excuse as to why they were to busy to deliver my sneakers on the date advertised. Then the order dissappeared. If shoes need restoring, elsewhere may cost less yet The Cobblers @thecobblersofficial #thecobblersofficial experience is worth difference. On an unassuming street in Little Haiti, indulgence is immediate. At first sight are Air Jordan-like hightop and Louboutin-esque stiletto statues in sinewy courtyard parking. Enter there or from Main Street double-height doors. Rather than smells of worked leathers and polishes, a welcoming, neutral scent wafts. Low volume overhead, contemporary music eases. No 20th century shoe shine chairs, men in oversized protective vests nor price board. Instead cursive glow lights of select four services -- Repair, Cleaning, Protection, Customize -- with artfully placed and encased women's, men's and unisex work samples. Two textured settees, animal hide rug and coffee table were where my consultation and service processing took place. A more traditional counter-stand features framed cheeky message, "I make shoe contact before eye contact." Next to this area is a see-through partition into the ventilated workspace, akin to co-working office, of various craftspeople at stations. After milling around in awe, capturing photos/videos, Isel then motioned for seated if I preferred. We assessed my shoes with her advising what required as well as non-repairable followed by her showing price itemizations via tablet. Not only for content of my review, but as an epicurean and former marketing strategist, I also probed for backstory. This Canadian-based franchise is expanding locations to service shoes, sneakers, handbags and quality leather goods with mission also to open schools teaching trade. I accepted her offer for lemon-flavored Perrier which was nice to sip on while awaiting work order and payment processing. Rates are pricey. Orders over $100 can be shipped no cost which I opted for. Standard working time is 15 business days, on longer side, but I highly anticipate my refreshed stilettos will not disappoint and wear well. If I could give NO STARS, I would. That's exactly what they deserve!!! I had a video consult in July and sent my bag to them and they received it on July 21, 2022. I was told that it could take anywhere from 45 to 60 days to complete the repairs on my Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag. The video consultant who spoke with me before I sent my bag also informed me that once repairs are completed, they will send me pictures to approve the work and see if it is to my satisfaction. So come mid September I started contacting them about the progress and status of my bag because the online portal was never updated. I contacted them probably dozens of times via text, email, and video chat. Their customer service representatives are the most unhelpful people (if you can even get someone to respond in the first place), and they say things like "please be assured that your bag is fine or please be assured that the progress is going well and please be assured that you will receive your bag" but they never provide any real proof or tracking information of the progress of your item. You literally have no clue what's going on with your repairs and if you try contacting somebody there's either no responses, or they all tell you the same runaround BS without giving you any real info nor timeframe as to when you will receive your item back. I truly got very worried that I would never get my item back or that it was destroyed or that they stole it. I debated on calling Police in Miami to see if there's anything they can do regarding this shady business. I also contacted the BBB. Finally after three months, I was finally contacted that the repairs were complete. At this point I requested the after photos that I was told I would be sent to see if the repairs were satisfactory. It took another month to even get photos, and when I finally did get photos you could not even tell if my repairs were completed because they were such poor photo angles of the bag. Whoever took the pictures could not even take good pictures to show me the work was actually done. I could not tell if any work was done on my bag by the angles of the photos they took. So I had to request a second set of photos which again took at least two weeks more. The Cobblers had my bag for 4 months!!! And once they finally shipped my bag they never provided me any tracking information either. So I did not know where my bag was and when I would receive it. When I finally received my bag, thank goodness, because I didn't think that would ever happen, the box was nearly open and looked like it had been damaged. Absolutely poor packaging! THE COBBLERS in Miami is a completely unreliable, unprofessional, unresponsive, terrible business. I would not recommend them to anybody to fix anything at all. They have the worst customer experience I have ever encountered in my life. DO NOT GET HOOKED BY ONE OF THEIR IG ADS!!! DO NOT SEND any of your precious items to them. Yes, my item came back with the repairs done, but after 4 months of painstaking, frustrating, and horrible experience...it is not worth the pricey tag you pay!!! NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE. WORST BUSINESS EVER!!! THIS IS A WARNING! DO NOT USE THE COBBLERS IN MIAMI. BBB please do something about this company!! read more

It seems I made a mistake taking my designer shoes to The Cobblers and I wish I'd read the reviews here before I did. Similar to Kathy Wilson below, I, too, have been a victim of The Cobblers business. I brought my heels in to the store in Miami for repairs. The shoes were brand new (worn once), just needed some repair on the heel from a night of salsa dancing and I paid to have new soles put on for a total of about $250. The shoes were originally $450. I set it up while I was there for the shoes to be sent to my address in Southern California because I would be back on the west coast by the time they were ready. I gave them my address at least twice while I was there in the store. It seemed like a very big operation so I felt I could trust this source that they'd ship them to me. Unfortunately, that did not occur. A month later I received a text saying my shoes were ready for pickup. I contacted the store and could barely get a hold of someone and once I did, I said please ship them as originally planned, and they said that they would be shipped immediately. A month later, no shipping confirmation, nothing. I called again, and got a hold of Mary, a customer service representative who said she'd send me the shoes and even sent me a tracking number with UPS. I couldn't tell from the tracking number what the final destination was. I found out that it was sent to Bowie, Maryland. I live in Los Angeles, California and had never given them a Maryland address. Since this incorrect shipment, I've tried to contact the Cobblers a dozen times. During this period, they've gone completely online with customer service -- you can't get a hold of anyone at the store. I've used the online system to get a hold of them, and NO ONE has responded. I've emailed on the customer service email I received from Mary giving me the UPS tracking number and I've received NO response. Crickets. I've since filed a UPS missing package claim and attempted to contact the store multiple times. I even tried to set up a call with one of their "experts" about a repair to try to get on the phone with someone, and they cancelled the meeting. This place is clearly scamming multiple people. I don't take kindly to losing $700, not to mention the time and energy I've wasted attempting to remedy this matter. Given that I'm an attorney, I'm feeling as if a few people could be supported by my services in Miami (with the support of multiple lawyers I know who are licensed in Florida) to hold this company accountable for its failure to fulfill its obligations as a seller. A judge would find it compelling that this is happening to multiple customers. Anyway -- I'll probably be in Miami soon and will do something about this. I doubt I'll get a hold of Warren Barthes... read more

@ Kathy W., please share Warren's contact information. At this point, I sent my bag in to get repaired in September. I have called, texted, emailed, again and again with no luck. I even scheduled another consultation video call just to check in and no one had answers. I filed a complaint with the Miami BBB and filed a police report with the Miami PD for theft. My LV bag is worth $800. I should have read the reviews better, and followed my gut instinct. It is funny how after my first phone call with someone, now all phone lines are out of service, the texts never get answered, the emails just get ignored. I am heading to Miami for a business trip and believe I will pay them a visit, hopefully accompanied by Law Enforcement to at least retrieve my item. I can't believe the reviewers who gave more than one star! They must be fake or written by the scammers. I am in your same situation @ Elena L. I think everyone who has been duped by this company should file a police report. read more
