Absolutely the best! The best service, the best quality and the best value. Miami is very lucky to have Julio and the Shoe Rescue behind the Carreta on Bird Road and 87th Ave. read more

Excellent customer service and quality job. They do anything related to shoes, handbags, luggage. Little pricey but it's worth.

Pleasantly surprised. Took a Chloe handbag that needed repairing. The price of the repair was fair. The purse is gray and they did a great job matching the color and texture of the small leather piece that needed to be replaced. Even the stitching was matched well. read more

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE EVERY TIME AT SHOE RESCUE! They've been in business for over 40 years. I've had many items repaired by them. They fix a multitude of leather goods and more at a great price. Example: My husband scuffed his shoes in the front toe area and they came out brand new (as shown in the photos). read more

This family owned business has been my go-to for years. Less expensive than most and always friendly. They've repaired my vintage chanels, miu mius and pradas with amazing results. Perhaps not the very best--but I'm not sure I would trust anyone else to tell me whether a shoe is restorable to its original condition or not with the same kind of integrity. read more

Good location plenty of parking quick efficient service very professional. Highly recommend.

Excelente servicio siempre. Tengo años de venir acá y siempre me atienden a la perfección. Son muy buenos en restaurar bolsos y zapatos que se han dañado con el tiempo. Recomendaría este lugar a ojos cerrados! read more

Request a quote online through Yelp and was told to come in store because they had to see what I wanted fixed in person. No problem- came in store, gave them my vintage Dior purse, told them to be careful, girl in the front took my bag to the back for the guy to look at. When they came back I was shocked to see they were bending the broken part of my purse like they wanted it to break or something. They told me I would have to replace the strap completely, a lie to get me to spend more money... while continuing to bend the strap of my vintage bag that was already very fragile, crazy. Out of three stores in the area I came to this one because it seemed the most promising. I unfortunately was wrong which lead to me declining their services simply because they seem very money hungry, and after seeing what they did to my purse in front of me, I was honestly scared to leave it with them. - I would not come back here or recommend anyone with vintage designer bags to come here ;( read more

He had my shoes ready the morning after I dropped them off and they look years younger!!

So I had gone to this Fancy over priced placed in Magic City.. I won't even give them the pleasure of saying their name... I dropped my shoes off on a Friday and they told me 5 days. Wed I got an email asking for a review. Naturally I assumed I missed an email from them. Why would they ask for a review of the job wasn't complete. I also got an email saying the shoes had been shipped... made zero sense since I brought them myself... long story short the place was all flash and no substance. I was pissed because there was 10 days now I couldn't wear my shoes. I came to Shoe Rescue and the owner was amazing! He made me feel like a Vip in 5 seconds. We talked about things and I felt comfortable to leave me shoes. He told me he was sorry about the annoying experience I had at the other place and told me I wouldn't had that with him. He was absolutely right. I dropped my shoes off at 5pm on a Monday and got a text message on tues at 12:40pm. I drove there and as you can see the shoes were perfect! I will be bringing all my shoes to them from now on and will tell everyone about these guys. Humble, honest , fair pricing and all family style vibes... exactly what a shoe repair place should be.. I'm so happy to have found them!! read more

After searching long and hard for a shoe repair shop that could help me redesign a couple pairs of shoes, I found myself at Shoe Rescue on Bird Rd. Julio and his team were incredible and kind. I witnessed firsthand how busy the shop is and how each customer was treated like family. Regardless of how busy the shop became, Julio was patient and determined to work with me in order to turn my idea into reality. I'm eternally grateful for all of your help!! read more

Shoe rescue has been around about as far back as I can remember at the same location behind La Carreta restaurant, tucked away in the corner of the shopping mall next to a Barbershop. Let me begin by saying that in all the time I have been a customer they have always done a real good job for me. I have tried using other shoe repair businesses that are closer to me but I always find myself making a trip to Shoe Rescue as it seems to me they are the best shoe repair business in the area and provide the beat bang for the buck. I truly believe they are awesome at what they do and that is attributed I believe to all the years they have been in business in the industry. They are very knowledgeable and it really shows. What I also like about this family owned business is they always provide you with an honest explanation in what they can or cannot do for you. Sometimes it just does not make sense to fix something and they will always let you know. I will also share that they can help out with anything associated to leather repair or maintenance in items such as purses, wallets, leather rifle slings, etc. I have always also found that their prices are very affordable as well. Parking should not be a problem as their is plenty of it available. So if you need some shoes repaired, conditioned or shined you should give them a shot as I don't think you will be disappointed. read more

It's truly hard to rate this place as the repairing of shoes is reliable however, the time frame in which you get your shoes back is ridiculous. I get it... they're busy because they're good but then hire another shoe repair person so that it doesn't take 3 months to get your shoes back. Yes, you heard me correctly... 3 MONTHS before your shoes are repaired and returned to you. Now that's just unacceptable! Hopefully, someone will leave a follow up/update that this problem has been solved and then I will be more than happy to return to this establishment Sorry about the review but this is a major problem read more

Outstanding service all around. From beginning to end this place has never failed to deliver quality service. My father came here in the 90's and for the last decade I've kept bringing my business here.ive had shoe heel repairs, running shoe sneaker re-glues, suede boot shampooing and today I had extra holes put into my belt along with an express polish. The customer service is friendly and they consistently have quality when it comes to products and their attention to detail. read more

For all my fellow Miami equestrians! By far the best place to take your riding boots for repair! I use my Fabbri's DAILY and my zipper and heel were in need of major repair. Julio is the absolute best! He replaced my zipper and added a steel plate to where my boots heel was worn down. He also cleaned and shined them to perfection! I couldn't have been a happier customer. I've been to many shoe repairs in Miami, this is by far the best! Highly impressed with the work that they did on my Louboutins!

Unlike some of the other folks who have written reviews sadly I am not the owner of a pair of Louboutin shoes, but I did happen to have a pair of dress shoes that I adore and these humble shoes of lesser name needed new heel tips. Thus I found myself at Sunset Shoe repair. They were polite and helpful and greeted me right away. It was $10 for the work and they asked me if I was in a hurry to get the shoes back. I was not and I told them whenever was okay. They told me about a week and a half, which was fine. I really wasn't in a rush. Someone else came in while I was there and they said they were in a rush for the repair and they were provided with a shorter time frame, so the business tries to accommodate the customer's need. They call you when the shoes are ready and true to their word I received a phone call advising that my shoes were ready two days earlier than promised. The repair was well done and overall I was very pleased with this business from all aspects and will definitely return for any future shoe repairs. read more

These people are really good at fixing all types of men's and women's she's. Or just helping you upkeep your favorites by protection or shampooing your suede and leather items. They are very busy so don't expect a fast turn around unless you pay extra for rush order. Which they are happy to do. read more

It's always such a lovely experience taking my shoes into this repair shop. The staff is so nice and really take the time to explain the process, turn around time, and expectations for the repairs I've needed. One thing to keep in mind, you've got to take your repairs in with time because of how busy they are but you can always count on a job well done! read more

I don't like writing negative reviews, however, I feel that if I share this perhaps they will change their business practice. I visited Shoe Rescue on August 30th. I was only looking for point taps to protect the front of the shoe. Nevertheless they recommended a half leather some to protect the shoe. They charged me $74+, but the best part was that they gave me a pick up date of September 17th--two-and-a-half weeks in order for them to finish the work. The shoes were a brand new pair of Jimmy Choo slides with heels. I was a little taken back because all I was looking for was a metal tap to protect the point of the shoe, not a half sole. I paid it and asked why I would take so long. They said they had a lot of work but that they would probably finish the work before the 17th of September. On September 15th (two days before the date they promised), I called and asked about the status. They told me the shoe would be ready on the 17th. I'm not going to lie, I got upset. I explained that I had an engagement on Saturday and that I didn't want to pick up the shoe very late. The lady on phone said that she would speak to management and when she came back to the call, she said that they would have it on the 16th (one day prior to the promised date). On Friday, the 16th, I received a phone call from the shoe repairer, Julio, to tell me that they had done me a favor and finished the shoe on the 16th. Again, I became upset and told them, "No. You are not doing me a favor. I paid a hefty price for this repair and you have it done one day before the promised date. You are NOT doing me any favor. When I went to pick up the shoe on Friday, September 16th, a lady who was chewing gum very loudly greeted me and brought me the shoes from the back. I finally got the shoes which they had placed in a plastic clear bag and then a paper back. I said, thank you, and left. read more

What a find! Apparently this place has been at this location for years and I feel so lucky to have found such a gem. These people fix everything ! Shoes, soles, pricey purses, half soles or just the tips - belts, buckles, boots, zippers- I mean these people are excellent and fairly priced. After being a loyal customer of Deleon on Coral Way and 30th(which use to be La milagrosa ) for as long as I could remember and being treated disrespectfully the last several times I decided to leave to Bridgette's shoe repair on Galiano street in the Gables - ha ! to my surprise this is the wife! And it's just an off sight - Deleon is where the shoes end up. Not only are they a ripoff but he is extremely nasty and makes you feel like he's doing you a favor - it must be all the cement glue that is affecting his brain- Thank you Deleon for treating me so poorly and forcing me to find a true gem! read more

I cannot be happier with the results of my Louboutins. To start I've been researching for a good show repair place. And after speaking to a friend of mine she mentioned that she knows someone that takes her louboutins here and so far has been extremely happy. With that said, I also checked yelp to confirm, while this shop does not have too many reviews I was pretty happy with the few so far. Especially the one featuring someone who was happy with the results of her loub's. I brought my 1 pair here to get the bottom fixed and I cannot be happier with the results! read more

I came to this place because it was highly recommended and the individual that recommended it knows that I am super picky. I was quite surprised at the price I was quoted because I had not realized that shoe repair like everything else has gone up in price. When I picked up my shoes I was very happy. You could tell that the job was done with such care. The individuals that work there are quick to respond to the waiting customers. Every question that I have is answered. I value the owner and the employees for being so thorough and quick to respond. read more

Amazing and friendly customer service and top quality work! My Zara boots had a few defects and imperfections even though they were brand new. I initially took them to another shoe repair store and the attendant let me know there was no way of repairing the damage to my boots. I decided to stop by Shoe Rescue to see if they had a different answer for me. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a friendliness and attention. The gentleman let me know they would absolutely be able to fix my boots and remove all the imperfections and defects. To my surprise, the boots would be ready the next day. When I picked up the boots they looked even better than the photos on the Zara website. They were shiny and all of the scuffs, marks and imperfections were gone! I highly recommend Shoe Rescue!
