She is incredibly organized and attentive to your style goals, but she also knows how to gently push you out of your comfort zone and surprise you in the best way possible. Throughout the entire process, she makes sure you feel confident, beautiful, and fully supported. She is honest, sweet, and simply the best! We went shopping at secondhand stores to hunt for my wedding look, and her eye for hidden gems is unmatched. To tie everything together, she helped me source all the perfect accessories--from jewelry and shoes down to the right undergarments--and even recommended a fabulous tailor to ensure a flawless fit. I rarely write reviews like this, but after nearly six months trying to get a service delivered, I feel it's important to share my experience. I previously worked with Tannya's company and had a terrific engagement, which is why I returned several years later. Unfortunately, this time was the complete opposite and, honestly, pretty shocking given my past experience. What followed was a series of breakdowns. I booked the service in September 2025 and, since then, have been unable to complete even the first of two sessions. Over that time: I was passed between three different stylists due to turnover and scheduling changes; appointments were repeatedly rescheduled or mishandled - my most recent appointment was booked incorrectly (wrong service length); a stylist simply did not show up; and basic preparation was lacking, for example, the stylist did not have my address and did not reach out until 30 minutes before the appointment, making it impossible to proceed. Despite significant time spent coordinating across their team and planning my schedule around appointments that never materialized, no service was ever delivered. When I reached out directly to Tannya to request a refund, there was no meaningful attempt to repair the relationship or take accountability, only a partial refund offer justified by "internal coordination and planning." This was a service I hired to make my life easier. It did the opposite. Mistakes happen, but repeated failures, lack of ownership, and charging for a service never delivered is not acceptable. I cannot recommend working with this company based on my experience. read more

Stuck in a fashion rut since grad school, I needed help to get a more polished contemporary look. I love to shop, but never seem to be able to put together many outfits from pieces bought on separate shopping trips. So I purchased "The Real Deal" package with Tannya Bernadette through Bloomspot. First, The Cleanse. Tannya gave me a lot of pointers on what to get rid of in a closet cleanse. It's not the typical "if you haven't worn it in two years, throw it out" because you might have a gem in your closet that you never figured out how to wear. It was more focused on things that don't fit or looking visibly worn. I'm still finding items to get rid of in my closet months after The Cleanse and feeling less attached. Next comes The Replenish. Which means going shopping! Tannya listened to my budget and other constraints, and got a good idea of my style, however little I had, from The Cleanse. Because I work in a lab where prodigious amount of bleach is used and I often have to crawl under benches to get to something, I needed clothes that aren't too constraining and I'm not too concerned if ruined. I scored lots of awesome stuff at Target of all places during The Replenish. She also found jewelry that will work with many outfits. She was really patient with my questions on what silhouettes work and don't work, and key pieces to have in my wardrobe that will tie everything together. Now when I go shopping on my own, I'm able to buy things that work with what we bought during The Replenish and avoiding impulse buys of what seems like a good deal. Finally, the grand finale is The Merge. We put together pieces that I already have with what was bought on our shopping trip, with jewelry and shoes. Tannya also suggests other comfortable footwear in the colors that are easy to wear with the color palette of my closet. She takes pictures of the outfits and puts it together in a lookbook. Cheers to life changes. As a young professional nearing 30, it was definitely time to restructure my wardrobe saying goodbye to those 'junior section' clothes from college days, though I'm not quite ready to look like my mom (not that she isn't beautiful). I love shopping, but sometimes have a difficult time putting outfits together. Tannya was the perfect choice to help me out. She is such a fantastic stylist with an eye that is beyond most. She was able to help me find my own style that will follow me for years to come. I purchased the Real Deal package which includes Cleanse, Replenish and Merge phases. During the Cleanse, Tannya came to my house to go through my closet. First she asked quite a few questions as to what I do for work and pleasure, what kind of style I like, some of my favorite places to shop or get style ideas, etc. She then set out going through items in my closet. She was was so helpful and quick in the process weeding through pieces that should be removed because they were out of style, didn't quite fit right or were showing signs of wear. We also ended up keeping quite a few pieces that I hand't worn in a while, mainly because I wasn't sure how to wear them. Even two months later I am still finding a few things here and there to either get rid of or finding new ways to wear them. Tannya said she was impressed with portions of my wardrobe, but that I was missing some key basic pieces that would help pull it all together. I enlisted Tannya's help after the birth of my daughter upon realizing that my closet was full of maternity clothes and yoga pants. I also work in an industry that's pretty casual, even though that's not how I like to dress. I'd lost my style over the years. Our initial consultation was so fun! She was very efficient and we figured out my "style" in 30 minutes of very specific questions about where I liked to shop, what my shopping issues were, what my favorite part of my body was, etc. A week or so later, I met Tannya for a two-hour shopping trip and I was amazed at how much we accomplished that day. I really enjoyed my shopping session with Tannya! I met her at a reasonably priced department store, and she had prepared a dressing room filled with clothing options for me. She had me try on each piece, finding different cuts or sizes when needed to make sure I looked my best. In less than two hours I had a new wardrobe with about 20 items of clothing, within the budget I had given her. I liked Tannya's style choices, and that she made sure to get my opinion on pieces that might have been a bit too "out there" for me. I'm in my early-mid 30s and the challenge for the last several years has been trying to find the right look that is my age which can be difficult since so many places seem to cater to either juniors or women of an older generation with very few options for those of us in between who want something more than basic vanilla pieces. Add to that a change in workplace a couple years ago that is more fashion forward than the conservative offices I've worked in the past and I was due for a fresh perspective. I worked with Jennifer Saul on my sessions and it was the best investment of time and money. Shopping can be fine for me if I'm just perusing without anything specific in mind, but trying to pull together an entire wardrobe that can also incorporate pieces that I currently own? I am not good at that. What I loved was that Jennifer saw the pieces I have, got a sense of what I tend to lean toward both in colors and style, got an idea of what shapes looked good on me (or didn't) and also learned what my goals with the session was. From there, the shopping session was super efficient and awesome! We were able to hit 4 shops and she got me to try on pieces and combine pieces I NEVER would have considered on my own. I also love that she's aware when a person is actually trying to be reasonable on budget and takes that into account. In the end, all decisions on purchasing were entirely up to me and if I felt comfortable in the piece and she gave some great insight when I would ask questions like about a specific material, shape, or outfit combination. There was no pressure to purchase items that I wasn't loving or even open to. Since I wasn't worried about figuring out accessories to go with my outfits, we were able to use the time and my budget to focus on the clothing itself and I left the stores with at least a dozen new key pieces in the span of 2 hours. I honestly don't know if I can fully express how much I appreciated the efficiency of the process! The Lookbook was the best thing to help further guide me since I actually got to see what she would recommend pairing together and from there I'm able to come up with some other combinations on my own. Since I've started incorporating the pieces and outfits into my rotation, I've received so many compliments from people! I feel more confident with what I'm wearing and love trying to pair different pieces together. Tannya has an amazing eye, she is smart and understands really quickly what you want. I had a bad experience in the past when I hired a stylist in LA and she took a very long time to go through my closet and when we went shopping it took forever and I just got one piece of new clothing (I felt that I made a bad deal). With Tannya I had a completely different experience! She is focused, quick and you really can see the results. I got the package of cleansing the wardrobe, going out for shopping and getting my look book. My goal was to increase work wear clothes and being able to mix and match them for a more outfits with the same number of clothes. When shopping, she took me to 4 different stores and I purchased items from all 4 places; 100% results, she found pieces that I loved at all those places. She covered clothes, accessories and shoes. I didn't feel pressure to buy, we actually put the pieces on hold and when she was gone I came back to purchase. And I like that use of time, I felt she really respected my time, offering her service instead of waiting for me to purchase. I definitely recommend her. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Tannya is amazing. She cleaned out my entire closet (clothes and shoes) in an hour. She just got rid of things dated or that were clearly on their last leg (which process takes me weeks!). (So I kept a couple things she wanted to throw out but it was liberating the way I got rid of stuff I wanted to get rid off but didn't for whatever reason......) The next day we went on the shopping excursion. I don't know how to describe that experience other than I wish I was that efficient at everything! She had already pulled things at each store we went to (if not already in a dressing room) and as we went from the first store she started editing it based on what she was seeing looked good on me vs. what did not. I came home with staples, as well as "fun" pieces ----- and actually posted a photo on instragram of one of the outfits (which i would've never done before because how "non-petite" I was feeling). But she chose clothes that fit me now - make me feel confident now - and will work with me as I continue on my health journey. And - they are things I would have never chosen for myself (what? stripes? print???) - but they are seriously the most flattering ever!!!! I sincerely recommend Tannya - she is amazing and has the vision to know what works best for you and knows what is comfortable and how to push the boundaries....just a bit! And....she never makes a single comment about your size. During our shopping session, she just mentioned how awesome and pretty and cute (etc) the pieces of clothing I was trying on looked. I had a great experience doing a closet cleanse with Tannya. I am a stay at home mom and often end up wearing my workout clothes all day or just jeans and a t-shirt. I also tend to make clothing purchases in a panic mode, such as when I have some event to go to and don't ' have anything to wear. Another bad habit I have is buying "throw away" clothes (cheap clothes that aren't well made and don't hold up in the long run) because I have nothing to wear. My boyfriend got me the Real Deal as a Christmas gift in 2012. As someone who complained a lot about hating to shop and not having anything nice to wear for date nights or otherwise, this was an absolutely great way to get that sorted out and start feeling better. The cleanse (closet cleanout) was very useful because it gave Tannya the opportunity to see what I like to wear, so she could get a sense of my style. She pulled out a lot of items that needed to go, but there were also items in my closet that I wasn't sure about and had never worn. Tannya had me put those on and she felt they worked on my body and told me she'd teach me how to wear them. Shopping with Tannya was actually fun - I never thought I'd say that about shopping! She is also super efficient throughout the process. I love my look book and have worn many of the outfits Tannya created for me. The great side effect, which I didn't know would happen, is that I am more confident about pulling together outfits and (very occasionally) purchasing something new on my own. Tannya was incredibly helpful! We started with the "Closet Cleanse". This was great--I realized how many clothes I had, and how many of them actually hadn't fit me in years! We got rid of a ton of things just taking up space, which felt liberating. Now I know everything in my closet is in good repair, fits, and looks good. What I really loved, though, is the "Look Book". Tannya comes over and assembles 30-40 great outfits from your closet and takes a photo of them so you can remember them, including accessories and shoes. This is awesome! It's SO much faster to get ready in the morning, and I feel I use a lot more of what I already have in more creative, stylish ways. If you are considering a style consultant hire Tannya, I cannot recommend her highly enough! Qualities that I most appreciate about Tannya are: efficiency, decisiveness, intuitive, professionalism, and of course, fashion sense. During the cleanse, with Tannya expertly navigating through existing clothes, I felt that she not only understood me, but knew what I needed without me having to explain. Our shopping expedition was literally the best shopping experience of my life. Tannya had the clothes ready, we quickly decided together if the pieces worked, and at the end of just a few hours I had a new spring and summer wardrobe! The Look Book puts all the pieces together, and I use it every day. Today, for example, I will be attending a college graduation. Pre-Tannya I would have agonized about what to wear, and would have spent an eternity trying to put together an outfit out of the random pieces in my closet. Even then, I would probably be worried that my clothes weren't right for the occasion, or that the colors didn't match, or that they just plain weren't the right style for me. Tannya was great. As much as I loath shopping, I finally made the time to schedule a shopping day with her and it was not only painless, it was fun and a lot like speed dating with clothes. Everything is prepared and set in a dressing room to try on when you arrive and she helps me make quick decisions on what looks good and what doesn't. I hired Tannya to help me get out of a fashion rut I've been in for a while. I don't always feel secure picking out clothes for myself or figuring out what suits my curvy body. Shopping tends to be stressful for me and I don't always feel confident in what I've purchased. I figured I needed some 'professional help' instead of just relying on friends and their opinions when I hit the mall. On the day of my consultation we started by purging my closet. She had me try things on and ask how I felt in them or how I perceived myself while wearing them. We got rid of clothes that were tired, never worn, or I just didn't feel confident in. After cleaning the closet out, we hit the mall. (She normally does this without you and has the clothes ready for you when you get to the store(s) but it worked for me to do everything in one day). Tannya is a machine while shopping...we hit Nordstrom and she quickly had tons of pieces for me to try on. While trying the clothes on she educated me about cuts that flatter my figure and fabric choices that work for me. I chose several pieces I loved and we headed back to my house. She also helped me pick some accessories that I was comfortable wearing while we were there. After getting back from shopping Tannya gets outfits together for you and makes a 'look-book' that you get a few days later. This is SO useful to me....I can open it up and take a look at pre-planned outfits or I can read some of her tips/advice for me and put together something myself while still feeling like I look great. After this experience I feel WAY more comfortable dressing myself and I feel like I can stretch my clothing dollar by combining pieces I used to classify as too dressy or too casual...Tannya taught me how to put outfits together and purchase things I actually love to wear. I would refer her to friends and I would use her again if I ever feel I need help--like maybe after having kids! :) I felt like her fee was really reasonable as well, she spends a ton of time tailoring the experience to the individual client and with the money I'll save by purchasing the right items instead of stuff that just sits in the closet or I don't feel good in, I feel like her service has already paid for itself. read more

Working with Tannya was amazing and I would highly recommend her! I sought her out because I felt the burden of decades of clothes in my closet that I just couldn't get rid of. She came over and we chatted a bit about my style, career, etc. I immediately felt at ease and trusted her, which made it so much easier when she put things in the "no" pile to just let it go. In fact after she left I tossed a few more things in there too. I ended up with 10 full bags to donate and a huge weight lifted. She took notes on what I needed and where my gaps were so that we could fill them in. Shopping with her was so fun! She seriously works her butt off and is so professional! When I arrived she had clothes ready for me at 5 different stores and we hustled all over downtown. She was quick to say yes or no in the dressing room which saved so much time. This same shopping trip would have easily taken me all day, but in just a few hours I had so many items - pants, jeans, skirts, dresses, blouses, t-shirts, jackets, shoes, jewelry. And I love everything! She put together a book and helped coach me about what to where with what, how to accessorize, tuck in or not, etc. The best part is that I have literally gotten compliments every single day since then. I can very highly recommend Tannya. I had gained some weight and never found the time to actually buy new clothes that fit me. My job got busier, my tastes got out of date, and I realized I needed help to not dress like an idiot. A friend recommended Tannya to me and I figured I would take the leap (and what seemed like a risk) and hire her to help me put together some outfits. I had a lot of reservations as it seemed like this should be something I should be able to do myself, right? What happened though was a revelation. She was able to pull together some outfits, in a very short and efficient amount of time, that were things that I wouldn't have tried on my own and allowed me to find clothes that just felt and looked awesome. They were some of the more productive hours I've had in years and absolutely worth the money. She then came and helped me purge my closet of a crazy amount of clothes. Honestly, the amount of clothes I'd bought over the years that were never right in the first place easily cost more than hiring Tannya.
