(Update: Back for round 3!)…read more I'm back to leave another 5-star review because Tannya is truly that good! I have worked with her three times now--twice for professional wear, and most recently for the biggest occasion yet: finding my wedding dress. Tannya is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is incredibly organized and attentive to your style goals, but she also knows how to gently push you out of your comfort zone and surprise you in the best way possible. Throughout the entire process, she makes sure you feel confident, beautiful, and fully supported. She is honest, sweet, and simply the best! We went shopping at secondhand stores to hunt for my wedding look, and her eye for hidden gems is unmatched. To tie everything together, she helped me source all the perfect accessories--from jewelry and shoes down to the right undergarments--and even recommended a fabulous tailor to ensure a flawless fit. It is so cool to look back and see how she has helped me elevate my style over the years, leading right up to an extremely special day in my life. I couldn't have done it without her!

I previously worked with Tannya's company and had a terrific engagement, which is why I returned several years later. Unfortunately, this time was the complete opposite and, honestly, pretty shocking given my past experience. What followed was a series of breakdowns. I booked the service in September 2025 and, since then, have been unable to complete even the first of two sessions. Over that time: I was passed between three different stylists due to turnover and scheduling changes; appointments were repeatedly rescheduled or mishandled - my most recent appointment was booked incorrectly (wrong service length); a stylist simply did not show up; and basic preparation was lacking, for example, the stylist did not have my address and did not reach out until 30 minutes before the appointment, making it impossible to proceed. Despite significant time spent coordinating across their team and planning my schedule around appointments that never materialized, no service was ever delivered. When I reached out directly to Tannya to request a refund, there was no meaningful attempt to repair the relationship or take accountability, only a partial refund offer justified by "internal coordination and planning." This was a service I hired to make my life easier. It did the opposite. Mistakes happen, but repeated failures, lack of ownership, and charging for a service never delivered is not acceptable. I cannot recommend working with this company based on my experience.

I first worked with Mellicia back in 2014 ...12 years ago. I wanted to update my review because…read morehonestly, I don't think I fully appreciated back then - when I wrote my original review how much Mellicia has helped me over the years at different times and stages of my life. Because Mellicia knows me, my style, and what I like, we don't have to start over each time I reach out. She's helped me over the years refine what we started together back in 2014 - sometimes my priorities or budget is different, sometimes my size and situation is different, but she gets it - she knows that that's how life is - and is always helpful AND supportive as she gives me these bursts of inspiration and guidance. Over the years, I've gone back for updated wishlists, closet edits (I choose to have her help me configure new outfits with what's in my closet in that moment - it's been so helpful to have a gallery of options on my camera roll for busy mornings) or the occasional one-off help with something specific for an event. All of these combined services that I can choose from takes the overwhelm out - it's like a menu of services that can be curated. Choosing from those services helps me cut through the noise and create options that just work for whatever situation I find myself in that feel and work just for ME, not just what's trending - and that's always been so important because I value my personal style, that she's helped me find! I've also really loved being part of her online community (Continuum) this past year - I'm so glad I've got access to this group, which is basically a wonderful community of women who share shopping and styling ideas, inspiration, gift ideas, tips and tricks - there are even moments to connect monthly live - as we put the tools and guidance that Mellicia has taught us all into practice with each other - it's like a force multiplier! It's been quite unexpected how valuable it's been. What I think I appreciate most - is that working with Poplin has never felt like just a one-time styling service, which is what I've experienced before with other stylists. Working with Mellicia feels like a genuine relationship - honestly, I can go a couple of years without checking in, and then come back for a little refresh, and we just pick up where we left off - like an old friend that gets you! Mellicia always meets me in the moment I'm in with zero judgment - and I'm so grateful. Looking back, this investment over the years in ME has been soooo worth it! Not only do I refresh my clothing items, I now know how to understand my own style - and this is something I have honestly taken for granted for the last decade +. Thank you Mellicia and Poplin! I have recommended her to several of my friends over the years - and I (still) recommend her whole-heartedly to you! Mellicia is much more than a stylist to me - she's like a stylish friend and a genuine life-hack, which is what we all need!

She's helped me navigate size 16 - 10, and every step and body shape between. What I value most is that she hasn't just dressed me -- she's taught me how to dress myself. I'm now genuinely confident shopping for myself, putting outfits together, understanding what works on my body, and knowing when tailoring or proportion will make the difference. At this point, I usually reach out to Mellicia when I want to be challenged or make a bigger style change. She always manages to stretch me without making me feel like I'm wearing someone else's clothes. And she is just really fun to spend time with. Warm, funny, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in her clients. She is an insanely great, fun person. I never leave her with just outfits. She's changed my life with her advice, outlook, and perspective. Plus she is so well connected in the community and is so passionate about local charities and politics! I recommend Poplin wholeheartedly.

Well, after a thorough and thoughtful intake process, Shelley absolutely changed that. She provided me with a portfolio of incredibly beautiful clothing that checked all of my non-negotiable boxes - a truly beautiful line-up of clothing and accessories that were somehow both trendy yet classic, comfortable yet chic. Her taste is absolutely impeccable! Her suggestions pushed me out of my typically prescribed (and quite frankly boring and safe) wardrobe, without pushing me too far beyond my comfort zone. My portfolio has truly made me rethink fashion, and I am already so much more confident and excited about my wardrobe with the suggested pieces that I have purchased. But perhaps most importantly, I have to share that Shelley is an incredibly wonderful, thoughtful, smart and funny woman, and I promise any client will enjoy working with her. Even before we met, Christine and Colton were incredibly thoughtful and attentive in their work to understand me and my wardrobe needs so that by the time they went in for the edit, I had total trust in them. I was specifically wanting help weeding out things that were no longer age appropriate now that I'm in my mid-thirties -- they did that and helped me identify styles and silhouettes that are flattering and not too young or too old for me. I've felt great wearing these new looks and have been getting tons of compliments ever since I did the wardrobe edit. Since I have a limited budget for clothes, I was a little concerned that I would come away feeling frustrated that I couldn't afford to update my closet according to their recommendations. That hasn't been a problem at all since they worked with a lot of pieces I already owned, and directed me to good second hand options for items on my gap list. I feel that in the long run this consultation will help me be a more economical, conscientious shopper because I now have the ability to make smarter, more streamlined purchases and to make better use of the items I already own.

I could talk about my experience, which surpassed any reality show level makeover experience ten fold, but you really should just call them now. Call them. Cuniform isn't just personal styling, it's also a course in lifestyle development, in adulting, frankly. Their approach is both responsible and refreshingly straight forward without a trace of elitism; they are truly devoted to revolutionizing their client's personal culture to save the environment, promote ethical labor practices, and create amazing daily "uniforms" for all the roles in your life. And there's no woo-woo crunchiness about it; they'll gladly deliver a succinct and powerful manifesto about the wastefulness of fast fashion, and cite substantive experience, reading and research to support it and their solutions. I have felt a change for the better in my life. Seriously. Their dual commitment to ethical business and efficacious organization creates a sustainable, recyclable wardrobe model that feels like it is creeping into the rest of my life. It's an amazing experience to feel the goals in your life uplifted by the clothes you wear.
