"Living My Vision of Success in 2014 From Fear to Freedom" In this workshop, Kim told us all how to align our goals with our vision for 2014. I knew that I didn't' want 2014 to be just "another" year. It was truly insightful and her words stuck like glue at this event. I learned that if we align our values with our goals, we will actually fight for our goals instead of forgetting about them! We also need to hit the "reset" buttons on our lives when we feel stuck in a rut, in order to keep pursuing that which matters most to us. During this event, Kim spoke to us in a private setting with delicious snacks for the first part, and for the rest of the time we all collaborated with one another, sharing stories of our visions and making our boards. She inspired us to create our visual goals, and we collaged pictures and statement words to make a 2014 Vision board. I am excited to see these goals come true and share my accomplishments with the support group I now have from this event. A goal in picture form is the key to accomplishing any goal, since I believe we see the reality of our goal and we naturally make strides towards it. I met Kim three years ago where she talked to my university about goal planning, being our authentic selves, and creating vision boards. After her advice that day, I created a vision board of my own with a large picture of New York City since that was the experience trip my fashion club had the opportunity to do. I knew I could not afford it financially but saw this picture everyday hanging in my room. This dream entered my everyday thoughts, which turned into actions towards accomplishing this dream. I then led enough fundraisers for our club in order to fully pay for this trip to New York City. What an experience!! Without the vision board and determination to do so, I know this dream would not have come to fruition due to my financial lack. I highly recommend this event to anyone who has struggled seeing their goals become a reality, it is truly the motivation you need, and you couldn't ask to do it with someone more genuine and exciting than Kim Peterson. read more

I learned about Kim due to her working with a few of my coworkers. I finally got frustrated that I didn't know how to shop. I didn't know what clothes I should be wearing or how to assemble outfits. I kept getting frustrated shopping because I didn't know what to look for, and then when I couldn't find it (how could I!?) I'd get discouraged and leave. As a Christmas gift, my husband suggested that I have Kim help me with that. So I got into contact with her, and she made it happen. We had a phone call to discuss what I was expecting and hoping to accomplish. Kim was very thorough. After the phone call, she sent me a questionaire to fill out with specifics on stuff that I love, stuff that I hate, what types of things I do (how often do you travel for work, how often do you go out, etc). And we set an appointment to do some shopping together. I'm not gonna lie guys, it's not cheap. But it was a heck of an investment in myself, and I am SO HAPPY that I invested that money. Our shopping trip was great. I felt like she really understood what I wanted, despite having kind of strange and specific likes and dislikes. The shopping trip was so productive, and she gave me some really simple and easy to understand/follow recommendations for what to wear and how to assemble outfits so they look put together. 2 weeks after the shopping trip, she followed up with me and I asked a few questions that I was able to think of and got some advice and recommendations from her regarding a tailor, etc. I am so much more confident in shopping and feel great with where I am in terms of rebuilding my wardrobe. I've utilized Kim's services on a few occasions now and I can only tell you that I was amazed. Not only is she knowledgeable about style and what's right for you, but she is timely, professional and accomodating to the max! So, not sure what's up with the 3/18/11 rating below, because that does not at all characterize the individual that has assisted me greatly in time of need. I've never seen a hint of "rude" coming from Kim--quite the opposite. I'm sure there's stuff left out of that review...don't pay any attention to it...in my opinion it's a baseless review without details. For those seriously in need of style and clothes design assistance, what I can tell you is that she did my personal color wheel and I now have the confidence to shop for what is really appropriate for me. I've been a client of Kim's for several years now. I live in Spokane and my initial style consultation and shopping experience was face-to-face with her. It was an amazing experience and the results nothing short of fantastic. However I'm not able to travel to Seattle very often, and for my style needs Spokane has limited shopping options. So I've been using Kim's virtual shopping service, and it's been wonderful! It's invaluable to have her peruse online shopping sites she feels best reflect my brand and personality, find items that she feels best suit my body type, and narrow down the options to only those she feels are really worthy of my time and effort to order and try. And because she has a great memory for what previously purchased items are already in my wardrobe, she is always thinking about how any new items I order might pair with them to make great outfits. I have worked with Kim for many years in different ways. Most recently, I worked with Kim and my ten year old daughter. My daughter became difficult for me to shop for and has very definite idea's of how she wants to dress. When I introduced the idea to her of working with a personal stylist she loved the thought. She did her own research on line and met with Kim as they brainstormed ideas. Then when we met Kim at the mall and walked into the dressing room that had selections displayed, my daughters face lit up. But even more than that - she has such an incredible ability to help you build any style or look you want to portrey. I do not know how she does it. I can stare at clothes on a rack all day and have no idea if it will look good on me. The notion of trying everything on just to find out is, well, not my kind of fun.
