Well, I had to commit to 4 cleans. The first one was mediocre. The second was fine, not great... they did not move anything off the kitchen counter to clean, they did not put my trash in the trash can outside and trailed ice cream drippings that leaked from the garbage bag all the way through my yard to where they left the collected garbage on the side of my house. The third clean they did not take out the trash... like at all, in any room in the whole house. Surfaces were left dusty. I still don't see how their "rotation schedule" works. No area ever seems to be focused on. Tomorrow is my last scheduled clean and it is 8pm and neither the app nor the email has given me any sort of time frame window... so annoying. They'll make you commit to 6 months and I promise you it will be the worst housekeeping experience you will ever have. They promote deep cleaning on rotation. To TCA, that means they'll only deep clean those rooms on that visit. They won't mop your floors or vacuum your furniture unless it's rotation MONTH. They won't even wipe down your window ledges if it's "sleeping room" day. I've been paying $350 a month for half-cleanings. They won't even move your toaster when cleaning the kitchen. I hired this company for a move out cleaning. After a couple hours of cleaning I returned and inspected their work. Upon first glance everything seemed nice and clean. But, I realized that I didn't smell any type of cleaning product smells that you would typically smell if they were used. On second glance, after the cleaners had left, I noticed that they hadn't even cleaned the stove, microwave or counter tops. I still saw and felt greasy and sticky areas. I have tile flooring and it looked as though they just ran a wet mop over it, not cleaning the dirt stains. (Especially in the kitchen). It was a very disappointing and disheartening experience. They left my key open and not locked up leaving my house unsafe and didn't even try to apologize for this HUGE mess up! I called to have them come back after 2 times it was not done correct, instead of coming back and redoing the work they just spot cleaned. After leaving my house unsafe and key not secure the house again for a 3rd time was cleaned like a preteen child and not a trained professional. Every time you could see a yellowing in the bottom of the toilet so not cleaned properly, the floor mopping always had spots still dirty (very noticeable dirty not just nitpicks small spots), the carpet cleaning would most times leave cat hair clumps behind again a very visible thing that could have been easily corrected), when they say "door frames and doors" wiped I don't think they use any cleaner I had to go back with a Clorox wipe to redo this job so it looked clean (no real scrubbing needed), more then once I've come home ran my hand down the counter tops and there was still food or a film left behind) read more

If I could give zero stars to this company, I would. I hired this company for a one-time move out cleaning. I was quoted $240 for up to 3 hours of work with 2 cleaning people. I have already moved out of AZ. My realtor who is handling the sale of my home went over to my home after the cleaning was complete. She called me and told me that they did a very poor job of cleaning. She FaceTimed me and showed me everything that had not been done---this included a thorough cleaning of the bathrooms, baseboards not cleaned, inside of oven not cleaned, counters not wiped down and blinds not dusted. This is just a partial list of their poor, unsatisfactory cleaning "job." I spoke with Nicole shortly after and told her that I was completely dissatisfied with the job they had done. She then got in touch with my realtor who sent her pictures as well as a list of areas that were not cleaned properly. They had arranged to meet the next day to redo what they had missed. After mulling it over, I decided to go with another cleaning service. Soon after I received a receipt via email stating that they charged me $90 more for the cleaning services. Needless to say, I was livid!!!! I called her the next day and asked what the $90 charge was for. She explained that it was a labor charge. I also found out that they had 3 cleaning people at my home rather than 2 which is what was stated in my contract. I told her that I wanted a refund for the $90. She said that they don't offer refunds and that she'd come back out and finish the job. I explained that I changed my mind about this and just wanted a refund. She said she would speak to her manager David and get back to me. I first received an email from David, which basically seemed like a form letter----just updated with my name and the dates. The letter again stated that they don't offer refunds and stand behind their work 100%. Shortly thereafter, David called me and I again asked to be refunded my $90. He again reiterated that they don't provide refunds. I asked him why and he stated that if they gave refunds the company would lose too much money and it would be hard to maintain their business. I stated that I never approved 3 cleaners for my home and he said that the number of cleaners is left to the discretion of the company. I got absolutely nowhere with him and stated that I was going to dispute the charges with my bank and to spread the word to other people to NOT use this company. I've been using Cleaning Authority for about a year or so. They do a great job and are very reliable. They charge me on the day they clean, are very good with my dog, and understanding when I forget they are coming and the place is a mess. I like that they use non-chemical cleaning products. When I get home I don't smell the "clean house smell" but I guess that's the trade off. Toni is awesome! But everyone does a great job. They have a systematic method with rotating focus areas so everything gets a deeper clean every so often. read more

I will start by saying that I am SUPER picky when it comes to house cleaning. When I do it myself, I wash the tile on my hands and knees because I feel like it's the only way to get ALL the dirt off - so that's how crazy I am. I've had other companies/individuals clean my house and I am always frustrated because inevitably there are spots left on the shower chrome or fingerprints on the banister or some other detail that I think they should have done better. Amy and her team (with the cleaning authority) have cleaned my house 4 times now. I have them come bi-weekly. They are reliable and consistent. I am always relieved when I get home from work and she and her team have been there. They do an absolute fantastic job. They don't miss the finer details that many people overlook (like ceiling fan dust, or the front and sides of stairs carpet). I'm very glad I hired this company...it saves me the time and frustration of having to spend a portion of my precious time off cleaning the house... I just hope they always have Amy come out - I don't want to try another team because I don't think they could possibly do a better job. :) read more

During the 8 months that we used them we've had numerous issues with the quality of their cleaning (it stinks), several items around the house broken and even missing. In a nutshell, they are careless, unreliable, untrustworthy, rude and overpriced! I should have read more reviews online before giving this company my business. The cleaners did a good job themselves, but at mid-cleaning I had to deal with a confrontational and unprofessional employee who barged into my house and went through all of the rooms for about 10-15 minutes before they even addressed me. If this was a couple of miles away in Sun City the Sheriff's Posse would have been surrounding the house with such behavior. There are better options available than this company. read more

I have had two cleanings. The first was excellent so I had great expectations for the second cleaning-WOW what a shock!!! One of the cleaners kept leaving the house complaining about how hard the job is and hating her job as well as slamming my front gate each time she left the house. Nothing on my kitchen cabinets was moved and cleaned under. The entry tile was not mopped nor the rug or kitchen rug shaken. I was not happy but felt I had just gotten the wrong crew. However when I went to the front to lock my gate I discovered all of the trash from my house dumped on my front walk! WHAT is that about??? I posted my complaint online and by phone. After several days of consideration, I decided to cancel the service! Unfortunately they are going to charge me for several more cleanings I have not used even though their service was obviously not competent nor a representation of what they promised! The cleaning service is great and the cleaners are very sweet! However the office/scheduling is awful. My cleaning fell on a holiday and they just cancelled it - no call to reschedule or notification - they just didn't show. I just called to reschedule tomorrow's cleaning and they said they need 72 hours notice or it will be $25 rebooking fee. So let me get this straight - you can no call/no show (a fireable offense in normal business) and I am required to give you 72 hours notice?! Doctors don't even require that level of notice... When they show the cleaning crews are often friendly. Some are not and stomp around complaining. Or shower door has been broken twice as has some other small items. We never know when they are going to show either. Last week it was 10am. This time it is 3pm and no one is here yet. We called to cancel this visit because we have an appointment to be at by 4pm. The manager was rude and said that they will charge us 1/2 the cost of the cleaning job if we don't stay here and wait for them to clean. We have been waiting and no one ever showed. I called back to see where they were and was told that the manager canceled our service. The reason we scheduled a cleaning service is so we can schedule our other responsibilities. It took all of a day to find a better mare reliable service for less. Don't waste your time with these guys. They have been going downhill for the past year. If there was a half star option, that is what I would be leaving. I was a client for four years and on every visit in that time, I left a pre-printed note asking them not to let our cats out of the bedrooms, not to drag their sweeper hoses around the corners and thanking them for coming. I even provided a copy of the note to their office more than a year ago. Usually the cleaning was hit and miss with regards to quality and consistency. Attention to detail is not her strong suit. It's the little things, leaving the house unlocked dragging dark colored sweeper hoses around the white baseboards and corners there by leaving black marks on the walls which I had to clean up or use touch up paint on when I got home. Knickknacks really appear to have been picked up and dusted ( as they advertise ) and were often simply dusted around. However, the fact that they used "green" products is why we kept our service with them for so long. But, in the last few years, these little things started to become big things. We started experiencing a lot of breakage to multiple pieces of investment-quality art and antiquities. Although they did repair everything that was broken, the fact that the piece now has a repair to it substantially decreases its value thereby creating a financial impact to us - the clients. I emailed them about this fact on multiple occasions - to which they never responded and completely ignored. The final straw came this last visit. I left the same note that I've left for years asking them to keep the two cats out of the bedrooms ( there are only two bedrooms in the house ) because we have visitors who are allergic. I come home six hours after they were at the house to find every door open to our home left unlocked, every overhead light turned on and the 17-year-old cat trapped in the master bedroom where she's never allowed and where there is no litterbox. Obviously she urinated multiple times on our four-year-old Tempur-pedic bed. It's soaked through the duvet cover, the duvet, the sheets and into the mattress. I called the office to express my frustration and ask what they were going to do about the mattress. The manager, David, calls me back to say that he spoke with the franchise owner, Patrick, and said they will not do anything about it or provide any reimbursement for the new mattress that I now have to purchase - even though their people can clearly NOT follow the provided instructions. I asked to speak with the owner, Patrick, and was told that he would call me. As of the posting of this review, I have yet to hear from him. I called the Cleaning Authority Corporate Offices and was told that they have no control over franchisees even though everything an individual franchisee does can reflect poorly on the entire company. I have discontinued my service and started with another company that is much more thorough in their cleanings and obviously cares about their customers far more than the Northwest Valley Cleaning Authority franchise owner, Patrick, does. read more

They did a horrible job and the management takes zero responsibility for it. I was moving and called to have them clean my 700 square foot apartment that was completely empty with no furniture. They made me pay $130 up front for 2 hours with 2 people. After being over an hour later than expected, they did nothing on the "priority" list that I was asked to give them and barely did anything else. The floors were not cleaned and still had sticky spots on it. The kitchen counter was still dirty. There was still dirt and dust behind the toilet. The shower handle and spout weren't even touched. My biggest mistake was trusting them and leaving them to do their "job". Since it was a holiday weekend and my walk through was the next day I had to clean everything myself. After mopping the floors, the water was black. They didn't even vacuum or mop it! After having to clean the rest myself before my walk through, I tried getting ahold of the management to address my concern. I called 3 times, left 2 voicemails, and physically went down to their office and it still took a week to get ahold of someone. When I did, I explained to them everything I explained on here and they replied with "There's nothing we can do. They did the best they could do in the amount of time paid for. No refund, no transfers. They did their job" Overall do not waste your money on this scam! They will take your money and do a terrible job in exchange. read more

Decided to try them out in April, 2015 after Patrick from the Glendale/Phoenix office gave me the details. I did not provide a key nor was there any discussion about the schedule. He didn't have a time on this visit and instead we set it up for a Wednesday although he would call to confirm. Husband took the day off to let them in so we could be there to monitor the first time. I was told there would be three people and instead it was two kids. Nice enough kids and they did a pretty good job but they were stretched for time with the size of the house. After this cleaning, I was supposed to receive another call or visit from Patrick to discuss the rotation, providing a key and best time. Instead, I get a random phone call during the day saying they were at my house and couldn't get in. Out of the blue!! I called and Patrick was apparently too busy so I get a return call a few days later asking what happened. When I explained there was no schedule set, no discussion about a key, they did not charge me for a "lockout" but I mentioned we needed to discuss the details (schedule, key, etc). No call then a week later I get another random phone call saying "cleaning will be tomorrow". I called and cancelled for good. VERY POOR follow through. Not good business to miss follow up and make sure the details are understood. If you are going to let someone in to your house it's probably a good idea to understand, who/what/when and what happens with your key right? I'll use someone else from on. read more

The service is mediocre for the amount of money that you pay. The Deep cleanings are either Bi weekly or bi-monthly. So if you sign up for bimonthly the deep cleaning isn't really worth it because they do half of it one month and half of it the next month. The first cleaning I had they did not move the couch so all the dog hair was still back there. They broke my coffee pot. They messed up my blinds and didn't fix them. The second cleaning I had they didn't wipe down the wall where there was mud from the dog. The third cleaning I had they did not give a courtesy reminder that they were scheduled to come, which I know is my responsibility to remember but I'm a single mom and they had given me courtesy calls the previous cleanings. When they showed up today they put the comforter on my bed because they make your bed, but my sheets were in the dryer. So I took my sheets out of the dryer and placed them on top of the comforter and they did not make the bed. They also left the lights on in my bathrooms. Also back to the second time they cleaned they put my cats in a room and did not let them out before they left which wouldn't be a big deal but they didn't tell me that they put my cats in another room so my cats were in there for hours without food or water and I had no idea. read more

After I broke my hip, I needed help around the house--and even without the hip problem, I was always rushing around to clean up before people came over. I could never get ahead of the mess. On the recommendation of a friend, I called Cleaning Authority and hoped for the best. They arrived on time to do the initial cleaning, which is longer and more involved than the standard service. Three great women with all their equipment and cleaning solutions in tow took on the dirt, dust, pet hair, and more. They worked efficiently, were extremely pleasant, and got everything done in a short amount of time at a very reasonable price. When they were done, their manager arrived for a white-glove inspection. After a few areas (that I thought were plenty clean already) were reworked, they left me with a house I'm proud to live in. I would recommend their service highly, and I plan to keep using them well after my hip heals up. read more

Please beware of using this company to clean your home. Every time they would clean my home there were basic items always not completed, i.e. empting out trash cans thru out my home or vacuuming my walk in pantry. The cleaning was always quick surface cleaning and no deep cleaning. Sometimes I would come home and could not tell that my home had been cleaned at all. The cleaning crews were always different so the specific items I needed cleaned or not cleaned would never be addressed due to the information never seemed to be passed on to them. My home is 3,600 sq ft and they would clean my home in 2 hours or less. The interior doors, the base boards and door handles were never cleaned. I was always told this would be done on my next cleaning and then when I would leave a note on my counter that they still have not cleaned those three areas they would write on my note that I would need to pay extra for those items to be cleaned. They damaged my expensive make-up mirror and they will not replace it. They called the manufacturer of the mirror and acted as though they were me to see if the make-up mirror could be replaced under the manufacturer's warranty to cover up the damage they caused to my mirror. But, The Cleaning Authority will not pay the shipping costs for me to send the mirror back to the manufacturer. The very last time they cleaned my home which was 2 weeks ago. When they were done cleaning they left the garage door open. The home next door is being built so anyone could have just walked into my home and stole anything they wanted. The door was left open for over 6 hours. They did not empty the several trash cans within my home several times. I would leave notes to remind them to empty all the trash cans in my home and they would still forget. They also would forget to vacuum my closet's carpet. They also scratched my stainless steel freezer and trim kit around my stove. They told me that the damage was caused by normal wear and tear and I could not prove that they caused the damage. At the time my home was 1 month old. They also have scratched my wood floors at my front door and they told me I could not prove they did the damage. They will not clean your home as they advertise and they also do not take any responsibility for damage they have done to my home. I was told that they could no longer talk to me on the phone when I was trying to resolve my issues and stated the call needed to end due to they felt the conversation was going nowhere and the owner would be calling me. I am yet to receive a call from the owner Patrick. Please think twice before having this company clean your home. They will not cover damage that they have done to your home and do not take pride in the work they are providing and charging you for. read more
