Cazookie WAY overrated and WAY undercooked. Even if were cooked perfectly, it would still have been average. Dough was not very good and made us feel a little sick afterwards. Brick Oven's is much better, but the ones you can make at home in mini cast irons are even better. Definitely won't be coming back here again. Ugh, it's still sitting in my stomach. I LOVE The Chocolate so much! But, I was really disappointed when they almost turned my group away because they were closing in 20 minutes. I was trying to show my friends from out of town how good this place is, and then we get there and the guy at the counter said that he had to do our cookies to go. If you went to any other restaurant, they would seat you at 9:59 even if they closed at 10:00. This was disappointing whereas the desserts there are to die for. Their Kazookie is great. Rest of the cake related items ( we tried a few of them ) were dry and tough. We were taken to a room in this converted house in the attic with a single functioning light bulb. It was like we were on a set of a horror film. I love their mini cupcakes...not too sweet, icing is just perfect. My faves are the Pinapple Coconut and the Chocolate Carmel. The place has a really fun vibe and almost everytime I am in Utah County... I have to stop. Seriously delicious, moist cake. I don't usually do any flavor but chocolate when it comes to cake but the Husband Cake, which is yellow cake with chocolate ganache is too good to pass up. The cazookie here is one of the best desserts I've ever had. My wife is from Chico, CA and we go down to SF quite a bit and I'm currently living in New York and I can say hands down that the cazookie here is one of the best desserts I've ever had. The only dessert that can beat it is Max Brenner's chocolate fondue in New York. After discovering this place my wife and I went here weekly until I graduated from the Y and every time we come back to Utah we make it a point to come back and get a cazookie. I wasn't fond of the decor or the "old home" smell to the place. I got a Cazookie... it was, first of all, undercooked. It was an average size. I just don't feel like it was that special, and honestly I can make a better cookie dough. I had high hopes for this place and have heard that a lot of people like this place, but I am just not seeing what is so great. They hardly had any variety of desserts other than basic flavored cupcakes (vanilla, chocolate, double chocolate etc) and boring brownies (mint, salted caramel etc). I wouldn't go here again I'm sad to say. I do feel, for the quality, it was overpriced... We saw the Italian Soda sign up there and thought we should try them. Big mistake, wife got the strawberry and I got the piña colada. We weren't even able to taste the flavoring, we were disappointed and it was a waste of $3/each. The cannoli left something to be desired. My only other comparison is my trip to Philadelphia a few years back. Rich ricotta cheese, sugar, cinnamon, and heavy cream etc..."The Chocolate" cannoli filling tasted like it was made from canned whipped cream and it wasn't sweet at all. My husband and I come here a lot, it is also the place we take people when we want to just get dessert. The Cazookie is easily the main attraction of the place (you can choose different mixes of cookie!!!!) wonderful. It has a fun vibe with lots of rooms (it's an old house) filled with comfortable couches, big and small tables, and even an upstairs. The cookies (especially the crinkle cookies) are phenomenal. The brownies that I have tried are decent but can be dry/crunchy on the outside as if they have been sitting out for a while. The pricing is great and it has a wonderful atmosphere. read more

Went to this bakery because they had good ratings. Ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate fudge frosting, and chocolate shavings. It was in the display case. It was $19 for a TINY cake. She repeated to me, the cake I wanted three times... Yes, that's the one. While picking out cookies, she put the cake in a box. We drove home, three and a half hour drive. Opened the box and its a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting. A very TASTELESS vanilla cake...Horrible. This was a pre- birthday cake for my husband's birthday today.
