We thoroughly enjoyed the mini cheesecakes. They come in three sizes in the display case, and we went for the box of 4 of the smallest ones for $14. This way, we could try 4 different flavors. We tried the Oreo, salted caramel, churro, and Twix flavors. I think the Oreo was the best Oreo cheesecake I've ever had, and Twix was also really yummy. I didn't really like that the caramel one had a caramel "puck" on top that was hard to eat and not that yummy when I tried eating it like a regular chewy caramel candy. The person working behind the counter was really friendly and helpful with recommendations. The inside of the shop had a few tables and chairs, but it isn't super big, but they are happy to pack the cheesecakes "to go." My boyfriend really liked that they let us choose between regular or mini spoons-- we went for the mini spoons and it was perfect for the mini cheesecakes. Momo's was on my list of places to try for a very long time and now that I've finally been, I've gone almost every week! I love that they have weekly flavors because I keep wanting to come back to try every one! Some of my favorites so far are the raspberry lime, lemon, and passionfruit. Also really liked the peanut butter oreo! I love that they have different sizes to choose from and even though the mini looks small, it's often the perfect amount to satisfy my craving! I did have one issue when ordering the Samoa cheesecake. It was a couple days after they started a new round of flavors so I think it must've been old, but the topping was super stiff and it made it hard to eat. I honestly took it off and are the plain cheesecake which made me sad. I think my main suggestion would be for them to save the topping and then put it on fresh so it doesn't get stale. Topping the cheesecake fresh when you order could also solve the problem of the raspberry topping turning the whipped cream red on the edges. It's not a huge deal but I do think I need to give the Samoa another try when it's fresh. Although my experience with the Samoa cheesecake wasn't awesome, the rest of the time has been so good that I still can't help but give 5 stars! This place is just perfect! The flavor options are creative and attractive. The flavor profile of the cheesecakes are well balanced and delicious. Sadly, due to COVID, I have not had the opportunity to visit in person. But I did get to participate in a taste test of several cheesecakes from different bakeries, and that's how I landed here. In full disclaimer, I don't care for cheesecake-of any kind-so I invited six of my closest friends and family to help try them and give feedback. The cheesecake option from Momo's was an apple pie caramel combo-which was very popular with the group. One person said that it wasn't fair for this particular dessert to be entered into the contest because it was so much like apple pie that we weren't comparing them equally. But he ate the whole thing and looked around for more. Most of the group determined that this was their favorite. I heard lots of "oohs" and "ahhs" as this one was consumed. I'm not sure if Momo makes anything other than cheesecake (probably not-when you find your specialty, you should stick with it), so I may not ever get to try any menu items. They release 4 different flavors each week. Gluten-free cheesecakes are also available. The personal gluten-free cheesecakes have a GF crust, while the cutie and mini GF options are just the cheesecake part. We had the Carmel Apple crumble and the Reese's and they were both so good. I'm a sucker for anything biscoff and the crust on this is made completely from biscoff. Soooo delicious! Went today for their storefront grand opening! By the time we got there (right before dinner) they were already running low on cheesecake - this is just 2 hours from their grand opening time (3pm-8pm). I was warmly greeted by Octavio - super sweet man. I chose the individual sized Strawberry cheesecake, which came with an Oreo cookie crust (first time tasting a strawberry cheesecake with an Oreo cookie crust!). I also received a mini bite sized peach cobbler cheesecake with a graham cracker crust. I was surprised I actually preferred the peach cobbler cheesecake, mainly because it was made with the graham cracker crust. I guess I'm more traditional that way? Ok wow. I was skeptical, but boy did they exceed my expectations! All the flavors looked so delicious I couldn't decide so I decided to get the mini sample. Strawberry, Momo's (peach), snickers and Samoa. Now I'll say this - I'm boring and the classic strawberry was definitely my fave but I am SO glad I got to try the other flavors because they were delicious as well. Most surprised by snickers! The personal cheesecake is huge and a whopping $12. I think it can feed two but that isn't ideal for lots of situations. They also have mini flavors but the few times I have been they haven't had any or have a limited selection the few times I have been. My mom is a baker herself so I have pretty high standards when it comes to baked goods, cakes, and other varieties. I was able to try four flavors. Pumpkin, passion fruit, cookies and cream, and malt. I'll be honest, passion fruit wasn't my cup of tea. I think the flavors clashed and I didn't like it. The pumpkin was okay. And the malt was good.
