I expressed my concern about carbon monoxide poisoning and was asked by their staff if I have a carbon monoxide detector which of course I do, however, I would feel safer having a stove that doesn't pump carbon monoxide into my home. I feel this shouldn't be a concern with a relatively new stove installed by their company. We have only used the stove for 4 months during the winter. Builders Wholesale says it will cost me a service charge to send out a technician or if I purchase a gasket and glue from their business myself it will be $50 ++ to replace short amount of gasket and adhesive!! Please be aware of the Vermont Castings wood stove "Dauntless " poor quality before purchasing. In addition all of the handles on the stove repeatedly loosen up and have to be tightened on a regular basis. Stove cost us $8,200 for unit, chimney, and installation . We never questioned the price or tried to get a deal. I feel it's sad that Builders Wholesale can't even give us a little bit of glue and new gasket seal so we can repair it ourselves. They were very friendly during the purchase but not so much when asking about a warranty. Very disappointing.

Jeff arrived on…read moretime, told us he would be cleaning the entire vent from where the vent exits the dryer all the way to the roof. He pulled the stacked washer and dryer out from the wall and cleaned every section of the vent all the way to the roof by adding sections to his cleaning device until it came out on the roof vent. He then completely vacuumed all of the dust up that was behind the dryer, checked the air flow of the dryer by going up on the roof to get a reading of the flow rate. He repeated the entire process one more time until he was satisfied with the air flow reading . We were extremely pleased with the results and my wife has see a marked improvement in the time it now takes to dry a load of clothing. We highly recommend Jeff and will definitely have him back every year to make certain the dryer is running at its peak efficiency.

Their installers were above and beyond as was Matt Greenlee. They were more precise in their work. There was also less construction mess than we expected because they had great tools to reduce it. They were conscientious and comfortable to have in our home. They encountered a significant unexpected issue they could have ignored, but they chose to do the right thing even though it delayed the install. Our insurance company confirmed it was a valid issue. This was our second time dealing with Greenlee and we were very happy both times.

He bought heavy chains and rings (hardware style) that are too heavy and prevent our chimney flues from opening fully. The chimney used to draw perfectly but now smoke backs up into our house. My husband contacted him last spring to say the chimney wasn't drawing properly but he said the season was over and he was doing other work. After multiple texts with Aaron this week and him saying the hardware he installed was good quality and that the chimney was poor quality, I called a friend for help. Greg helped me remove the chains and rings (see photo below) because they were too heavy for the flus. Now the chimney is drawing perfectly again.

Aaron arrived and started walking thru the units I wanted checked. He is very honest & upfront, I made sure he knew not to surge coat anything for us, as we like brutal honesty, honest work ethic and good service. Aaron had all of these in spades. He did inform us of where the previous installed had messed up and not only made mistakes, but installed the incorrect type of fireplaces in a room or 2. We felt his honest approach was refreshing. He did. not try to screw us into making any large purchases or needed repairs. I felt he was very reasonable on the bill compared to the time he spent at the house and helping me by repairing a couple items. We couldn't have been happier with the service, the timeframe, response & honest ethical work. We will not hesitate to call him back out if the need arises.
