Shane is fantastic! Service appointment was booked over the phone. Shane was tidy, polite, and very thorough. He tested our gas log starter for leaks, adjusted its angle as it was not installed properly. Swept the chimney from inside the house, went on the roof and found our flashing loose so he fixed it and wiped down our door handles. The price was less than we were quoted by two other companies. Not a lot less, but every little bit helps. read more

Needed our gas fireplace serviced as it hasn't had any professional service, check up since installing 6 years ago. Btw, it's not that easy to find fireplace people up here even though on would think it is easy. Shane came out yesterday and took the fireplace apart and cleaned it and checked for gas leaks. No issues, but I feel so much better and it looks better after he cleaned it. Shane is super nice and very knowledgeable. I learned a few things about my fireplace I didn't know which was great. I'll have Shane come out annually now, he's great. He mentioned they are to open a new store in Prescott valley fairly soon. Highly recommended. read more

I contacted Northern Lights Fireplace (NLF) for service on a gas insert that had fallen into disrepair. The staff was very friendly and helpful scheduling an appointment for me. The repairman Shane showed up on time after calling me to let me know his ETA. He had all the tools and things he needed and setup drop cloths to not make a mess. He cleaned and checked all aspects of the system. He installed a new RF remote control for the insert (with batteries!) and tested everything. He even cleaned the glass inside and out. It's like a brand new unit. The price for the service and remote was $300 which was lower than another estimate I received. I think it was a good value and I'm a very satisfied customer. I would easily recommend them and will use them again in the future. read more

We have a wood stove that really needed a thorough clean out before it gets cold here in N Az. I stumbled across this company and right away spoke with the rep who would be coming over. His quote was very reasonable and, knowing that he used equipment that meant he wouldn't have to get on the roof, I was eager to set up the appt. He was professional, courteous, efficient and cleaned up the living room afterwards. This company will now be our new yearly go to for the wood stove. read more

If you want an honest and very knowledgeable person to service your fireplace needs, then don't hesitate to call Shane. This is the second year we've had him over to check out our two gas fireplaces - one insert, one a little stove. Last year we had him out after TWO visits from another company could not find the issue with the ignition on the insert - Shane fixed it right away! Should have started with him then but we will for sure be using him for any future inspections, pilot lightings, or repairs. He is personable and very clean as he works too. A+ all around. read more

His work is very neat, clean and orderly and he's a great communicator. Two thumbs way up! read more
