John showed up to my house and was punctual and clean. He was very helpful and explained what he was doing as he went along. But above all, the most honest guy I've met. He could of told me anything and I never would have known the difference. He told me everything checked out good and went above and beyond by wrapping the a/c wiring in new foam, and cut and replaced all of my filters. He only charged me for the service call and no additional. In the end, John offered to assist me on his own time with a problem I was having with my spa. Brenda and Leo have been great to work with. We did have a hiccup on the unit and they came back, took it out and replaced it! Apparently Leo had never had that happen in nearly 40 years of doing this work. Many hours later we have an A/C that works. Goodman brand and NOT LENNOX, whose products have gone south in quality and longevity, is our replacement. It has a good warranty. Really have to say this couple really worry about their customers! Our dog is very ill and heat makes him worse so they gave us a large, powerful window A/C to use for a couple of days while we waited for the new unit to arrive. He wanted our pup comfortable! Who does that ??? No one, except...Prescott A/C and Heating does and stands by their work. If I could leave my number here I would so you could call me and ask how it went, but Yelp won't allow it. Trust me, they won't leave you high and dry and hot if you use their thoughtful, professional services. You'll never have to worry about them not standing by their work. We were very pleased when Eric cleaned our system and showed us that the only issue was that the run capacitor on the compressor was struggling. Eric replaced it and added a "hard start kit" to reduce strain and power consumption during startup. Overall, he was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything he was doing. There was no effort to "upsell us." The system has been working great ever since.

I called due to my AC struggling to keep the house cool during the summer temps…read more Originally I was not shown any digital diagnostics but was told multiple times that the refrigerant was not low First attempt was replacing the TXV, which I was told made no change Then I was quoted for a coil replacement I agreed and had that service done Here is where the problems kind of escalated To replace the coil refrigerant has to be removed, I was informed that I was actually low by 2lbs from a 5lb system Not only that, the system performance was still the exact same after the coil was replaced... they confirmed this with their sensors Then I spoke to the previous home owner who told me the coil was replaced just 2 years ago, so a coil failing that quick is almost impossible... Everything pointed to the fact that the coil was not actually the problem at all and that this service was done unnecessarily I ended up putting the diagnostics I was provided into AI which also had the same opinion that based on everything and my situation, the coil replacement was not needed I had to call them back because their own diagnostics showed that the system was still performing poorly and there was a diagnostic test that was not done even from the beginning which would have actually proven whether the coil needed to be replaced or not I figured out from the data I was given that the issue was the blower was turned to the max setting As soon as it was adjusted then the AC system was performing correctly So in the end the system was actually low on refrigerant and a simple adjustment on the blower was all we really needed I was still charged for the full coil service, no discount To this day we can't say for certain that the coil replacement was necessary and there was no change in the system after it was replaced The main change occurred after our blower was adjusted... Had the FULL digital diagnostic been done from the beginning I would have concrete data, but instead I was only provided with a digital diagnostic after the coil replacement Before the coil replacement I was only shown a hand held analog device which had a small amount of data and did not actually show that we needed a new coil I do feel like I was ripped off and regret not getting a second opinion before going with the full coil replacement, which came out to 1700$ I do appreciate the honesty ( which is why this isn't a 1 star review ), they didn't have to admit that we were actually low on refrigerant and that the temperatures were the exact same before and after the coil swap They did return to make the adjustment to the blower when I called, but it should have been done before leaving to be honest In the end I still feel like I should not have been charged the full coil replacement price, based on everything that happened.... Because it looked like all we really needed was a refrigerant refill and a blower adjustment which should be have been a couple hundred at most.... -1 for not providing full digital diagnostic from the beginning -1 for charging me the full price even after we all saw there was no change in the system after the coil swap

We had Rob inspect our system and he discovered so much wrong with our system, including a leak. They were so helpful, and kind. Now we have a new functioning HVAC system that is so much better than the previous one. My health symptoms have improved to 85% , and improving daily after just a few days. This morning I received a call from Austin, the technician, to let me know he was on his way. He completed the AC tune up and provided me with an update.
