Buffalo sour (with buffalo trace bourbon)... excellent!
    Mauricio B.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The views of the slopes are great, service is wonderful (specially if you have Eliza as your server) and food quality is good. As other reviewers have already mentioned, the location is great since this place is right in the middle of the slopes. Perfect place to stop over in the middle of the day for lunch or a drink after skiing, or like in my case, just hang out and have drinks and a byte to eat while waiting for some friends who were skiing. The place is very comfortable, with lots of tables right by the windows, but also a few very comfortable sofas for just lounging. Some of them are by the fireplace and some are by the windows. The Bourbon sours I had was espectacular... Buffalo Sour, and the Elk pot pie was pretty good. Great place to try.

My friend and I ended up here for early lunch since visibility on the ski hill was very limited. Great place to hang out next to the fireplace. Staff was friendly don't service was all right, and they came around and refilled water in the form of bring us a new bottle of water to refill. We had dropped a fork by accident and one of the staff members came up quickly and give us a new set of cutlery wrapped in the black napkin. Atmosphere was nice just for a casual conversation.the food was decent as well.we ordered a nachos and cheese which ended up being huge order.we tried the elk stew, and the kale salad.the nachos and cheese seemed really good with lots of cheese - my friend Said he would've wanted green onions, And maybe stuff like peppers. I really liked the Sauce on The kale salad.

    Beet and Goat cheese parfait.

We had fun. Food may not be the best but service makes up for it. Staff was super friendly and respectful. My kids enjoyed breakfast buffet.

We were on our honeymoon and ended up dining at Juniper three separate times during our trip. That alone should say something. The food quality, consistency, and service were exceptional every single visit. Our server, Hera, delivered service that genuinely surpassed what we've experienced at multiple Michelin-starred restaurants. Attentive without hovering, warm, knowledgeable, and effortlessly professional, she made each meal feel special and memorable. On a honeymoon, that level of care matters, and she nailed it. The food deserves its own spotlight. The Eggs Benedict is the best we've ever had. Perfectly executed, balanced, rich without being heavy, and clearly made with intention. The Churro French Toast is unforgettable: indulgent, crisp, soft, and expertly seasoned. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, not just "good for a hotel restaurant," but genuinely outstanding by any standard. We regularly dine at Michelin-recognized restaurants, and while Juniper Bistro is not Michelin-listed, the food quality here was better than many Michelin meals we've had. That's not hyperbole, it's an honest comparison.

I got a smoked OF, and the wife got a mocktail that was amazing. Food selection was very very good as well, the waiter helped me decide on my steak cut, and I went for the bison as it's more unique to Canada. Next would be the vibes and views. Wow. Cannot say enough about it. We sat one row away from The window and it was breath taking. Highly recommend, highly recommend getting a reservation.

I had a dairy lactose intolerant situation and he was very helpful. We ordered the duck wings as our appetizer, and this blew my wife's mind because she never was into duck, but this dish changed the game for her. Very well prepared and it was super crispy and the presentation was everything. It had a chili Asian crisp taste to it. Our next dish was the vegetable Wellington! Surprisingly, this was really good for something that was vegan. Not that I'm a vegan person, but I just want to try something that was non-dairy. It paired really well with the sauce. The squash and mushroom hit it off. We also ordered some white prawns, and that was really fresh as well! And the most important thing was the view! Try to get an opportunity to sit next to the window because you have an awesome view of the mountains. What better way to enjoy lunch or dinner with the view.

Admittedly, I'm not much of a drinker but I'll have some once in a while and Bear Street seems to have a pretty good selection. I tried a Vietnamese Coffee Stout which I enjoyed. I'm definitely more of an eater than I am a drinker and the eats at Bear Street Tavern are excellent. My party got 2 pizzas and a salad and we enjoyed it all. To start we got the Tavern Bowl. It's a bunch of different vegetables with a Tahini Miso Dressing and kimchi on top. All the different textures and flavors worked really well together and the salad served as a nice break between bites of pizza. The Wheeler Hut pizza has mushrooms, ricotta, truffle oil, pesto, and mozzarella. If you're a fan of truffle flavor you'll enjoy this pizza. As soon as it was brought out I could already smell the truffle. The Mediterranean has olives, feta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, red onions, chili flakes, spinach, mozzarella, and balsamic glaze. A little busier than the Wheeler Hut, but it was equally delicious. I'm not sure which pizza I liked more. Both pizzas had a fantastic crust with some char. Substantial enough to stand up to the toppings but still a little doughy for a nice chew. The char gives a nice crunch as well. Service is quick and friendly and the prices are fair, especially in a tourist area. I definitely recommend Bear Street Tavern.

I finally asked her and she said she was our waitress but she too busy to serve us...at all. Seriously? All we needed was coffee and you couldn't handle it? Array of food for breakfast buffet was abundant. Lots of stuff to choose from. It was annoying to arrive at 7 when they were supposed to open and see it was SWARMED with two tour groups. Why make actual hotel guests wait to eat when you let large outside groups in early? We wouldn't go back. I'd rather walk to whitebark cafe where the coffee was great and the service was warm.
