Very pleased by my purchase and the service at this GAP! I snagged a dress in the sale section and…read morethough it was still a bit pricy I loved the fit enough to splurge. When I went to check-out, the cashier was super friendly and helpful. She helped me check for a GAP rewards account and was patient when my email didn't return results. When I finally got access, she applied all the discounts and rewards cash possible to lower my final total from $50 to just over $30! Many thanks to the sweetest cashier ever!

This review pertains both to the products in general and to this particular store. I find GAP to be a good place to buy jeans, shorts, skirts, sweaters, tees, and tanks; GAP Body is great for workout clothes, lounge wear, and bras. I'm a 36A which is difficult to find in many stores (all about that bass, no treble) but GAP Body stocks plenty of them. I also like the frequent sales and the 10% off on Tuesdays for GAP card holders. Dresses at GAP are an epic fail. Almost every dress is shaped liked a burlap sack: super boxy, with maybe a drop waist if you're lucky. Very unflattering. Their dresses are just not for me, and I always see tons of them on the clearance rack because no one else bought them either. Quality of the clothing is not as good as it was years ago, and the color pallette has become too muted, at least for women's clothing. There's too much of that muted dark blue color in particular. This location, while bright and spacious, suffers in service and cleanliness. The dressing rooms are always dirty and in dire need of a Swiffer. What is the point of having a shelf in the dress room if no one wants to set anything on it because it's covered in dust? There are dust bunnies on the floor too - unacceptable. And no one ever greets me or assists me on the floor. Staff are consistently MIA. So this location is great for shoppers who want to be left alone, but it sucks if you need help finding a size or have a question - good luck finding someone.

(Stores 720, 722, and 724). I had fantastic customer service from Janelle and Demetres in cosmetics. I highly recommend you seek them out to shop with them specifically when you visit the Durham, NC Nordstrom location. They are highly knowledgeable about cosmetics and men's grooming products. They can even help you continue shopping with them throughout the rest of the store so you're not wasting time looking for an associate or ringing up at the register. Love the Nordstrom customer service experience! Thank you Janelle and Demetres! I'll look forward to seeing you next time I'm in the store! Cheers!

Every employee I interacted with was extremely helpful and nice. I think we were asked if we needed help in every single section. I will say there's definitely a lot smaller of a selection compared to the Charlotte location. Specifically in jewelry and purses. The jewelry section was extremely lacking which was disappointing because that's what I went for. But I ended up getting a cute coach purse anyway! Even though it's smaller, it's still nice to shop & everyone was so nice. The surrounding area is also really cute with lots of stores and restaurants.

So, Athleta has a lifetime warranty on their products, and you can return/exchange items anytime,…read morefor any reason (their words, not mine). I chatted to an Athleta customer service rep before going to Southpoint to confirm. They confirmed. The woman working here let me know that, because I wore the item more than once, it's not "really" returnable. And that the pilling on my leggings are normal "wear and tear". (I'll note: i typically love Athleta but I've had some leggings for 5+ years with zero pilling...Athleta leggings should not pill). She said returns/exchanges are up to store discretion, contrary to the global return policy. And her decision was to not accept my leggings. What made matters worse was when she picked up the phone, held it to her ear, clearly about to take another call -- all while I was talking to her. It was clear she was trying to end the conversation and rush me out. I knew this person was wrong, so I called the Athleta customer service dept on the drive home, who confirmed that this person was indeed wrong. In their words: "She should have accepted your leggings." They offered to call her directly and read her the policy, or help me resolve the issue via email. I chose the latter -- mostly because this person made me pretty uncomfortable in-store. I normally love Athleta, but this woman's attitude was pretty rough and her refusal to honor Athleta's exchange policy was just not ok. Thankfully, Athleta corporate came through.

I tried on a bunch of swimsuits and found it very hard to choose one because they all fit so well! Plenty of coverage, but still flattering shapes and vibrant colors. It looked like there were plenty of beach cover-ups, skirts, shirts and other non-sporty clothes, but also a lot of athletic apparel. Next time I need something in that department I will definitely stop by. The prices are below Lululemon and in range of Nike and New Balance. My swimsuit top was around $60 and the bottom $50.
