The place was so unorganized and messy and dirty that it honestly looked like it was a close out center and they were planning to shut the place down. I actually don't think that's the case, it was just that bad. We walked in, mess everywhere. Hard to even find sizes!! The two employees yesterday were talking behind the counter and not doing much of anything at all. We finally checked out with two items, not finding what we needed because we couldn't find the sizes we needed in the piles of messed up stuff! I asked about how much some boots were and she told me to use the price scanner... but the boots were so tangled up together with the stings attached to them that I literally would have had to slide a giant box over to the scanner (they were in a box, a lot of things were!) Overall I was disappointed enough that I will honestly not go back. Why? I can get the same stuff elsewhere WITHOUT the mess and with customer service that doesn't treat me like I'm bothering them. Also- they charge .15 if you want a bag. It was just the icing on the cake after stuff that was supposed to be 50% off, was "in the wrong spot". I'm giving 2 stars for some cute items. The store was organized and easy to navigate. Grace helped me. She was very patient with me as I struggled to find my coupons. I also observed the way she made sure every customer experience was pleasant. This was my first time at this location but it definitely won't be my last. It has been along time since I have been in this store! My friend dragged me along! It was great! All the boys and girls traffic tees were on sale $4.99. They also have gotten in a lot of summer cloths! I will say the boys section is not as cute as the girls! But I was still able to find things! The employee was amazing! I appreciate the selection in this store. If you're looking for school uniforms for the Fall, this is a great place to go. They've got lots of colors and styles meeting uniform standards. I've not been to another Children's Place location so I'm not sure if they are all the same, but there's a good variety of play clothing, sleepwear, shoes and miscellaneous items. I liked browsing the cute t-shirts, which my little one seems to grow out of at a horrifying rate (seriously, nobody tells you how fast kids will grow when you're pregnant). If I liked shopping Walmart more and it was closer to home, I'd go there instead for the Garanimals brand which is comparable, if not better, in quality and is more affordable. We walked out of here with 4 pair of toddler shorts and 2 t-shirts for $30 and this was after the clearance discount. For reference, you can get 8-10 pieces at Walmart for the same price. But we were on a last-minute mission to replace shorts, so here we were. We stopped in yesterday around 5:15 pm. As summer is now half over, I could only find a limited selection on the 60% clearance racks which served the purpose for what I needed. In any case, I brought in my 2 year old, who quickly started doing the potty dance. Asked a sales associate if they had a restroom - the answer was "no, the closest is Marshall's" - in a not-so-nice tone. She was the only associate I saw in the store and didn't seem to care much about interacting with customers or being friendly. I used to love working in retail because I got to interact with people and help meet their needs. This woman could clearly not relate. I would only return if absolutely necessary for last-minute items. Don't expect stellar service here, but you will find a great selection of clothing. read more

My five year old is running his clothes ragged so in search for some new jeans I decided to check out The Children's Place. They had a great selection of jeans in his size. They also had a good variety of long sleeved shirts. Everything seemed to be on sale for the upcoming Black Friday event. The ladies at the counter were super nice. The only thing I do not like about this location is the parking. It's shared with many other stores so it's hard to find. Also, the store itself is too small. Not very well set-up. Clothes were tossed around like a garage sale. It was hard to find sizes, girl and boy clothes were in the same spots.

My son needed some new clothes and I personally shop at TJ maxx or carters for my son. I have been shopping at those stores for three years. Recently I noticed a lot of the items that I would buy at TJ maxx that I absolutely love came from "The Children's Place" I only have one son so I still consider myself a new mommy. No one really told me about this place...But it does have a hidden location. I wouldn't say its a bad location because...its around all the shopping stores. I have stopped shopping at carters because I noticed that their clothes shrink and fade easily! The childrens place has a wide variety of clothing for boys compared to other places..and very unique. I recently went to shop and The Childrens place had 30-60 percent off plus cash bucks to use for later. I bought my son so much stuff for preschool. He is going to be looking spiffy, and adorable. Super happy with all the things I got him. I got him hats, sunglasses, pants, shorts, button up shirts, t-shirts, gym shirts and shorts. I love their product. It lasts and does shrink or fade...and they always fit perfect on my son. read more

Walked into this store after purchasing Some items at Marshall's. I had my baby, diaper bag and items in a cart. As soon as I walked in, one of the employees told Me I was not allowed to bring a cart into the store. UM WHAT?! Why not? There's no "no carts allowed inside" Sign. I have bought quite a bit of clothes from Children's Place over the years. I like the brand and they have a variety of fun/trendy and preppy/classic. Recently moved to the area and this location was just disappointing. The place was quite messy. There were clothes on the floor, rolling racks in between tables and other racks, folding cart was out but not being used, and the cashier desk was piled with stuff. It was so crowded with stuff you couldn't get to all of the clothes or get around the tables. There were two ladies working. There was no welcoming coming into the store and it took awhile before one stopped and helped me check out. Mentioned it to a friend, thought maybe they had new inventory, but she said it's always been bad. read more

I love the clothing at this store but that is it! The employees including managment are rude, no professional look or attitude! If you ask for help they make it a point that you know they could care less. Personal issues are discussed and more important than the customer. Asking if you can be checked out leads to eye rolling.Besides the awful treatment the store is dirty! Only one dressing room makes for a long wait too! I usually love this store but this location is terrible! There is only one fitting room which creates long lines when it's busy. Plus, children can take a while to try things on so I waited in line for over 20 minutes for my kid to try on a pair of pants. The prices seem higher than other locations. The displays were messy and I had a hard time finding the sizes that I need. The cashier was incredibly slow and even though I was the third person in line, I waited over 10 minutes. What was supposed to be a quick trip in for pants took over an hour. I will not visit again. read more

Terribly disappointed.... I went to exchange the size on a pair of Jeggings I had bought for my daughter. I had bought them for $4. I got the next size and went to exchange. Apparently they didn't have anymore of the $4 jeggings but had gotten in the new and improved color that are $12. The color was so close I didn't realize they weren't the same. Except for barely noticeable difference in color, they were the same pair of pants. Spoke to the manager and no help at all. No help at all...I have to pay $8 more for the same pair of pants to get the next size .... No thanks....bad customer service! read more

I've been a fan of The Children's Place since my daughter was born in 2002. The clothes are sturdy, trendy, and affordable. Everybody is happy. I was so happy when this location opened last year. I hated having to drive to Lynnhaven or MacArthur Center. You can almost always find a coupon online. I like that I can get an additional discount with my Children's Place card. ( I just go home and pay the bill online.) The staff is really friendly and helpful. If they don't have the size I need, they'll offer to check another store. They've even taken the last one off of the mannequin for me. read more
