The Chicken Hut is in a little plaza off Lamar Blvd, with a few other businesses, including office. It's very convenient and has plenty of parking. I was starving but didn't want to drive anywhere, so Chicken Hut caught my attention. The nice girl at the counter gave me a little info about what was really good. Basically telling me a I couldn't go wrong with any thing. I didnt want a lot but decided to go with chicken tenders. As you can see from the picture, they give you a lot! The fries were perfectly fried and seasoned. And I'm picky about fries. The chicken tenders were fried just a little too hard for me, but the flavor was great and so was the Hot Honey sauce. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town and looking for some good snack food!! read more

Came down from Nebraska and gave The Chicken Hut a try and I am glad I did. These wings are on a different level. Perfect texture, serious flavor, and the kind of sauce that makes you stop talking for a minute so you can appreciate it. The Texas toast is the ideal partner for it because it catches every drop. The mac is comfort food done right with real garlic and real cheese and none of that bland filler taste. The smothered corn deserves its own spotlight because it is rich, flavorful, and absolutely addictive. Every plate tasted like someone cared about what they were making. The owner made the whole experience even better. He came out, talked with us, made sure everything was right, and you can tell he puts pride into the place. It felt warm, welcoming, and genuine. Not something you see everywhere. I would absolutely come back and I will be sending people here every chance I get. This spot is worth it. read more

Parking- A Food quality- A+ Pricing- A Customer experience- A While out and about I decided to try a new place near the grocery store. Googled "chicken wings near me" up pops this location. Upon my arrival parking was easy to find. Walking the establishment is small but the atmosphere is relaxing. After I placed my order it took approximately twelve minutes before my order was ready. The chicken was out of this world, but the star of the show was the smothered corn. OMG the flavor of the butter was absolutely amazing. It reminded me of a buttery garlic parmesan sauce. Next time I'll order two ears of corn because ohhhh wee it was delicious. Yelpers run don't walk to this hidden gem & tell them Ronnie B. sent you. I promise you won't be disappointed. read more

The food was the good but my order took FOREVER. I was sitting in the restaurant for around 40 minutes waiting for my food. All I ordered was a chicken sandeixh amAnd it's not like they're were a bunch of orders. There was only one person ahead of me. No apology. No acknowledgement of the long wait time. Nothing. Just handed me my food and that was it. I won't be back read more

This place is soooo damn good! The wings are so crispy and flavorful! This is my 2nd time coming here and it's always a treat! I get the 6 piece lemon pepper wing combo and they come out perfect! 10/10 recommend to check this place out! The banana pudding is also to die for! read more

Another 5 star review, but hey got to give credit where it's due. My brother goes to this place all thee time and I finally had the pleasure of eating here. It's a pretty basic spot with a couple of tables and chairs and a order counter. The gentleman taking orders was upbeat and kind. I decided to order hut honey and farm pepper parm along with fries. Good lord it was good. The farm parm tasted like nothing I'd ever had before. It was seasoned to perfection. The hut honey was tasty and had the perfect amount of sauce. The fries had seasoning on them not sure what it was but it was delicious as was the toast that came with my order. I didn't want my meal to end, it was that good! The serving amount was plentiful. I was pleasantly surprised by this meal. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. I most certainly will visit again and you'll should too!!! I have FINALLY found my wing place. read more

I'm not a big fan of wings, but these were delicious! They were cooked just right and not drowned in sauce, which we requested. We ordered the farm pepper parm and GOCHUJANG, along with the corn, fries and mac & cheese. My granddaughter practically drank the ranch, which is homemade perfectly. Everything was so good we added a peach cobbler for dessert which was a win as well. We will definitely be eating here again! read more

Im not going to lie, I was a little skeptical at first because I'm weird about my chicken, but I'm always in to try something new. When we went to order, the guy behind the counter was super helpful and gave really good recommendations. My husband got the chicken and waffles with hot honey sauce.. SO good. I got the jerk wings (sauce is made in house) SO good!! My son got chicken strips with the backyard bbq (regular) and that sauce was the best bbq sauce I've ever had!! I'm assuming the guy taking our order was the owner and when he asked how we liked everything the look on my face said it all!! So good!! 10/10 recommend! On top of it being so good we didn't feel gross afterwards! It wasn't greasy or any of that! Good quality food! Will most definitely be coming back!! Also loved the vibe on the inside! Over all a great experience!! read more

Absolutely the best wings in town! The wings here are always cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, juicy inside and the sauce is out of this world. It's got a unique flavor you just can't find at any chain restaurant. Every bite is packed with amazing taste. If you love wings, do yourself a favor and try this place. You'll never look at chain wings the same way again! read more

One of three of my favorite chicken wing spots in DFW. Originally from Tennessee, and it's been so hard looking for good wing spots. And I'm glad I finally found one here! Seasoned & sauced chicken well. The fries were also seasoned well. I'm always skeptical about getting Mac & cheese from most places, but this spot's was pretty decent. Will be a regular customer as long as they're open, continue to provide good customer & clean! read more

I was really excited to try something different than Wing stop, but I am super disappointed with my experience. I attempted to call in my order and the Indian girl who answered instantly started rushing me through the order. She ended up placing the wrong order and charged us almost $20 over the phone. I asked for a 12 piece wing and came home with a 4 piece tender. So since I'm here; the tenders are TOUGH. Couldn't even break them. A good crunch and decent sauce, but cheap chicken. I'm good on it. read more

I stopped in for a late lunch at about 1pm on a Wednesday. When i walked in, i was greeted by Byron (turns out he is the owner) who was "cleaning up from our lil lunch rush". The restaurant is impeccably clean. Small dining room, no soda fountain, canned and bottle drinks are available. His menu is great, options for wings, tenders, sandwiches in grilled or fried in his full variety of sauces or dry rubs. Some really unique sides as well. I tried the smothered corn ( a tasty garlic parm sauce with a hint of lemon pepper that is also available on chicken) , a 12 piece bone in wing with mild "hut-falo" and "jam rock jerk". Per Byron, his buffalo mild is definitely more of a medium on the spice level. The jerk was also pleasantly flavorful without being overly spicy. The food was cooked fresh to order and didn't take very long at all. While he may do a lot of take out, it was a great little spot for lunch. Would highly recommend to anyone in the mid cities for wings, next stop, i want to try a sandwich and maybe check out the banana pudding i saw advertised on their facebook page. read more

This place was amazing! The owner was so attentive, the food was delicious, and I will be returning for sure!

Wow LOVED my food here! We ordered 30 wings with 3 different sauces, fries and corn. My favorites ranked was the hot honey sauce, then the jerk sauce and then dry rub lemon pepper. My preferences are saucy and sweet so if that's you, get the honey one! The fries were a great portion and the seasoning was so good, like salt, pepper and little sugar. We also got a can of peach soda and I recommend it bc it reminds me of the peach ring candies. Overall, great dinner and you're supporting black owned small businesses too, what's not to love? Will def be back! read more

Decided to try something new outside of our usual takeout spots. I thought wings sounded delicious and got even more excited about the sides on this menu: smothered corn on the cob, barbecue baked beans, deviled egg potato salad. Texas Toast and cheesy mac for the gluten-eaters. Chili fries. Yum! They also have several chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, salads, chicken and waffles, and 3 desserts: peach cobbler, banana pudding, and a brownie with ice cream. No dessert for us this time, we had the grilled hut-falo chicken salad without croutons, smothered corn, potato salad, and wings and fries. All pretty fantastic.. especially the corn which is truly smothered in tons of butter and seasoning. I wasn't feeling excited about my salad at first but it really grew on me. The Buffalo chicken was super tasty and I needed the crunchy lettuce and cucumbers and cold tomato -- some fresh cool elements amongst my saucy chicken and rich potato salad. It ended up being the most perfect lunch. read more

The Chicken Hut has ruined other wing places for me and my husband! We had the Hut Hot Honey Wings and the Garlic Parm wings and WOW! The wings had the perfect crispiness and had a lot of meat on them! They were huge! The Hut Honey Hot wings are where it is at!!! My husband also had the Chicken and Waffles with the PB sauce and it was AMAZING! Definitely don't knock it until you try it! I am so glad we did! The service was amazing! We went on family night and got to meet the whole family! The decor was great and the music... lets just say I was singing and bobbing my head while I was eating! lol Will definitely continue to return on a regular basis! I had it for the first time 2 weeks ago and I've been back 2 more times since then. I've tried the Farm Pepper Parm, Lone star Lemmon Pepper Hot, Henny Wings Possible, Spicy Ranch Rub dipped wings. Out of all of them I really enjoyed the Lone Star. The seasoned crinkle cut fries are a must with the wings. The fries can be a snack on its own, they're bomb. Service is what you would expect from a soulful family owned restaurant. Southern hospitality, from the front of the house to the chef/owner comes out to check on you to how everything is tasting. (Byron was gracious enough to whip up some of his Peanut Butter wings on the house for us to try. I would consider them a dessert wing bc when you dip it into the bbq sauce, it tastes like a PB&J! ) I've been to many hole in the wall spots and the best ones are usually playing good music in the back and the chef's are in their groove singing while doing what they love. I believe that's what's makes their food taste as delicious as it does bc it was made with heart and soul... this was one of those places. read more

I was excited to try a new place, however was extremely disappointed with my order. I ordered the fish and chips online and when I picked it up it was fish and tortilla strip chips. I was hoping for fries or even homemade chips. The dipping sauce was not tartar sauce either, it was an odd marinara sauce. The fish itself however was not terrible, but definitely not note worthy. I would reconsider this menu item choice for sure. Probably won't go back. read more

Tried this place for the first time today. I was in the area and looking for a place to pick up dinner. The Chicken Hut showed to be in my area and has some good reviews. I love a good and well seasoned chicken, so decided to give it a try. As I waited to order, a phone order was in progress and the guy shared their chicken is cooked well, and had to state this as the order was requested to cook very well. And he did not want them to be disappointed if the food was overcooked. Our chicken is cooked to have that good crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. And this comment gave me some insight on how I would order. I did the 12pc wing basket 1/2 Lemon Pepper and 1/2 Bucket Naked, fries, a Dr Pepper and Nana's Banana Pudding. I enjoyed my meal and will go back to try their other flavors. read more

The best chicken in Arlington. Many different sauce options and the workers actually care about quality and service.

It was our 2nd time here and both times the service was really good. They may have the best lemon pepper wings in Arlington.
