My wife and I were in the area, and our tummies were rumbling. We hadn't been to Jason's Deli in quite a while. It was Sunday after church and the crowd had calmed down. We were able to go through the line without any wait. I ordered the Ham & Salami Muffaletta Manager's Special with a side of fruit and a one-time visit to the salad bar. I love Jason's salad bar and the huge selection that have on it. My wife ordered a turkey and provolone sandwich with chips. We found our table, and I headed to the salad bar. Oh yummy, so fresh, so crisp, just what the doctor ordered. My salad was wonderful. By the time I finished my salad, our sandwiches arrived. My Ham & Salami Muffaletta was delicious, and my wife loved her turkey and provolone sandwich. Everything was super yummy. I ordered the chicken Alfredo expecting something creamy and flavorful, but what I got was honestly one of the blandest pasta dishes I've ever had. The sauce looked right, but it tasted like absolutely nothing--no garlic, no salt, no seasoning at all. It was basically plain noodles with white paste on top. The chicken didn't help either. It was dry, unseasoned, and tasted like it had been cooked hours earlier and reheated. For a dish that's supposed to be rich and comforting, this was just disappointing and hard to finish. This is probably the most disappointing Jason's Deli experience I've had. We ordered takeout since it was rainy and chilly. My spouse and I both got the manager's special with soup and half a sandwich. It's supposed to be half a sandwich but we both felt so surprised with how tiny the sandwich was. Jason's Deli is in full-force shrinkflation mode! My soup was fiiiine. I tried the new chicken and wild rice soup and it was pretty unremarkable and bland. I probably won't order it again. Terrible customer service. I tried to order and stood there for about 5 min without being acknowledged. I was then told I needed to go the To-go side. The food is good! The restaurant is clean, there is a lot of seating and the line usually doesn't take too long. The only issue I would say is some of your staff seem a bit rude. They act like they don't want to be there. One woman who works in the salad area every time we go will literally just chuck the side salad bowl at you. If you ask her a question she seems bothered. There is also another woman who is usually up front, when we come she never seems to be doing anything. Went there to eat the other night. The place was slow. More people working than eating. Walked up to the counter, and was a bit confused how ordering was supposed to work...it looked like it was a cafeteria style, but I was not sure. Waited by the register to be waited on. Three people were behind the counter working food prep and trying hard not to make eye contact with me. After a few minutes and woman came from the back looking pretty annoyed that she needed to come out. She did kit give me any indication how the transaction. Was to take place, she must have assumed I knew. I ordered and she asked what I wanted to drink. I asked what they had and she pointed in the general direction of the soda fountain on the far side of the dining hall. Unable to read the taps from the register I walked over to read them...which clearly annoyed her. I came back and finished my order. It came to $16 and change. I handed her a $20. She told me they did not have any ones and gave me the $3+ in change. Still having no idea how I would get my food...I looked to her for instruction and she told me to have a seat. I sat and eventually someone brought me my food and left. After I ate, still was unsure if they would come for my dishes, or if I needed to bring them back to the counter. The cashier by this time was sitting at a nearby table on her phone. I left the dishes and walked out. This is a touristy area next to Six Flags and the AT and T stadium. I have to assume many of their customers are visiting and not familiar with their flow. Could be wrong, but just the same I will not be going back. I stopped in for lunch with my daughter and no one was at the front counter. We stood there for a few minutes and finally some employees went to call someone from the back. We continued to wait a few more minutes then this lady came from the back. She let out a loud sigh and walked to her register. We were not greeted nor did she apologize about the wait. My daughter asked if they had a meal that came with half a sandwich and a salad bar. She rudely pointed to the corner of the menu. We proceeded to order and the whole time she had this attitude to her like we were inconveniencing her. We paid and she just handed me the receipt and didn't say thank you or anything. I asked another employee if she was the manager and he said yes however he apologized for her behavior. This is not called for and I will not return to this location ever again. My home location is Grand Prairie so we will just stick to that location. Thank you for your time and reading this complaint. Typical Jason Deli food. The issue was the staff was not cleaning up food that they dropped on the floor while delivering sandwiches. Resulting in me slipping on a slices of tomato. Apparently only way you can get Jason's salad bar on delivery is if you use their app! Note: their delivery is fee is $7.00 and they use some 3rd party delivery service so if you have a problem with your order you are in a bind. I love this Jason's Deli the most for the following reasons: 1.) They rarely put me on hold when I call in to make a pick-up order. If I am put on hold its very brief. 2.) Whenever I actually go to pick up my food, it's ready to go and the order is correct. 3.) The staff is always courteous and on top of everything. Even when there's a long line, it moves quickly and efficiently. 4.) Although this location is pretty old, it's always very clean. I swear there's always an employee checking on the salad bar and drink machines making sure everything is well-stocked and clean. 5.) There's some decent outside seating. 6.) My food is consistently delicious. Sandwiches aren't lacking meat/toppings. The only complaint I have is that almost every time I order a Light Plain Jane (1/2 sized massive baked potato), it's under-cooked. Too crunchy!! read more

Delivery Alert- if you decide it may be a good idea to order directly from Jason's Deli. You may want to think twice. Here was my experience. 8/3- I recently had surgery so getting out and about just isn't possible. My wife and I thought since we love the food at Jason's, let's order online. 1. It's a minimum order of $25, no biggie a lot of places are. 2. Jason's charges a delivery charge. I dont know if it varies based on the dollar amount, but after ordering an extra meal and cookie to meet the minimum order we were charged an additional $7. 3. If you are a generous person and want to tip the driver which I am and did. In this case it was a $5 tip. No biggie, these drivers deserve a tip. 4. We were charged an additional $9 for a service Jason's used. Buy & ride. So for a Turkey wrap, baked potato and large ice tea. Plus the extra Turkey wrap and cookie to get to the $25 minimum. We paid $45.67 charged by Jason's and $9.60 charged by a service called Buy & Ride Jason's uses. read more

This is the most crowded Jason's Deli I have ever been to! You'd think they were giving away free food. I've always thought​ of Jason's as a lunch spot, but I wanted it for dinner. We showed up around 6:30 and the place was packed with families. That's a good sign of course, but wow was the wait to get our food long! We waited about 20 minutes after ordering before our food was ready. At this location you can choose to get a buzzer and pick up​ your food or take a number and have your food delivered to you. So my husband and I come in to order a beefeater, and were missing the au jus and the desert. Make sure you check your order before leaving. Wishing I had come here last week when I first arrived in Arlington Texas for my vacation here just up the street by stadiums... lots of choices for sandwiches salad and FREE soft serve ice cream.
