Decor: Limited seating makes it cozy and relaxing. Lighting was dim and music low. Candles on tables. Very relaxing and lovely. Attire: Dress is smart/business casual. Service: Very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about what they serve. Food: We ordered two appetizers which were very flavorful and perfectly prepared. Two entrees were also full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The pasta with braised pork was a filling portion. The lamb, while cooked nicely, was a small portion. Wine: We paid a $25 corkage fee and brought our own wine. Their wine selection was nice, we just preferred our own wine. Price: The portions, overall, are small. This is not a bad thing as we prefer to enjoy our meal at the restaurant and do not like to over eat and feel uncomfortably full. If you are the kind of person that likes leftovers, this is not the place for you. They are very expensive but it is very different than any other restaurant around and the quality of the food is superior over other restaurants. Bringing our own wine, two appetizers and two entrees (no dessert) cost us $150. read more

The Chef's Table is one of my favorite restaurants in Stuart and a wonderful dinning experience. From the small plates to the desserts, all of the food is fantastic. Dont waste your money, place is overpriced and the food was god awful, bland and bitter . Small menu which makes you think the food might be good, i was wrong, had the cudo, rack of lamg, creme bulle, the crudo was raw halibut with vinegar 4 ways of nasty, the lamb was served almost raw with this red nasty stuff that taste like like a babies diaper, did not get to taste the creme bulle, they burnt it beyound being able to consume, they did not apologise for anything and never asked us how the meal was. Went to this Amazing restaurant for our 25th Wedding Anniversary based on all the great reviews. We were not disappointed. The food and service was amazing. We had the 5 course dinner with the wine pairing. The food was expertly prepared by the chef and owner. The place is quaint and quiet which led to a relaxing atmosphere. Our waiter, Alfonso was attentive and very knowledgable about the plates we were served and the wine pairings. Candice, sorry if I spelled that wrong Candice, also was very attentive to our needs as well. All in all it was a lovely night and we will definately be back again. I have been back two more times and the food and service continues to impress. I took a vendor of mine there for lunch the other day, who loves good food and he couldn't stop commenting about how good the food was. The Gnocchi and the Bolognese sauce are both amazing. We arrived after the lunch crowd but before the evening menu. Super accommodating, Meat & cheese board generous portions, filled with sweet and salty flavors. My husband ordered the calamari salad, normally served crispy but he requested grill. They happily did it. I was enticed by the evening scallops appetizer which they too presented. Will return. A friend and I had the Chef's tasting menu last Saturday night, and it was just fantastic. First, the food: for every course, they brought us each something different so that we got to taste the maximum variety. Serendipitously, they hit it just right with what they gave each of us--we didn't have to switch once. And it was all wonderful--truly interesting flavors combined in really wonderful ways. There were so many things, it's hard to pick them out, but possibly my favorite was the pasta course with homemade pasta with mussels and tomatoes and a sauce to die for. The ribs were also fantastic--melt in your mouth, and the lamb chops were sooo tasty. As they presented each dish, the waitress explained what it was we were having and answered any questions we had. Which brings me to the staff: they were a delight. Very friendly and informative, ready to talk about the food and/or wine, but not at all intrusive. Atmosphere: I loved it and thought it just right for the space. It is small, but not at all crowded. Wine: I had the wine pairing to go with the tasting menu and it was truly an eye-opener. I'm no expert, but I found it fascinating what they chose to go with each dish, and all the wines were very good. I'm not a big fan of dessert wines, but the Argentinian one they gave me was so good I'd happily order it again. All in all a perfect evening. read more

We celebrated our 34th Anniversary at the Chef's Table last night. We had a party of 6 and all of us were VERY pleased with not only the delicious food but the with the excellent service. So, not sure who the foodies are that gave 4 and 5 stars but those ratings are seriously misleading. This place tries to come off as this swank Italian restaurant with fine cuisine which I assure you it is not. From what I gathered, their main dish is alcohol and wine sales. The crowd was as well aged as the wines offered. We were asked if we wanted water 3 times before it finally came out. Bread was served by the stale and pathetically small slice the size of your pinky finger. Terrible. The meat and cheese plate was adequate though we laughed at the 3 slivers of almonds that were provided. No salad. Entrees gave hope on the menu but when my cold, burnt, poorly prepared slice of lasagna appeared my hopes were dashed. As I stared at the gas station and Valvoline oil change station across the parking lot filled with Mercedes and Porsche vehicles from the patrons dinning at our restaurant and waiting for the bill, I decided it was my mission to give an honest assessment of this place. The staff was also gruff. My advice is to drive a little further in town because your money will be wasted here. read more

The food here was good but a bit over seasoned with salt. They charge "supplement fee" for swapped items. We did not swap anything and was charged the "fee", so please carefully review your receipt (I deducted a star for that)! I had the lamb rack, and my wife had the duck and both were salty. I thought it was good. Not great. A bit pricey too. Lot's of friends love it, and I just liked it. I had the stuffed ravioli and they were a little tough I thought. Good though. It's not a place I think to go to. I've been twice, and both times were good. This was our first but most certainly not our last dining experience at this intimate gem! I called and spoke to Lauren to inquire about reservations and menu; she was warm and informed. Upon our arrival this farm to table restaurant had warm inviting decor. We asked Lauren for recommendations and were pleased with the freshest garden salad and the corn-peach salad were so palate pleasing. The homemade pasta was light it was impossible to leave a morsel. The portions were not intimidating and we somehow managed to share two sweet desserts that were a perfect finish to a wonderful meal. Compliments to the chef and staff. Bravo!!!! read more

I have been here a couple times for the Chef's tasting menu. We were asked if we had any food preferences so we said yes, we are fussy eaters (no land animals) and they said no problem. We were treated to five+ courses of the best creations, small plates and amazing flavors. Fresh seafood, fine cheeses, perfect house made pasta. Every dish had such great flavor pairings. Some of them created seemingly on the fly to cater to our brand of fussiness. Sometimes the plates were paired together and some dishes came out different so we could have even more tastes than the 5 courses promised. An extra plus when dining as a couple. Chef and staff really care about their craft and it all comes through in a fantastic fine dining experience. This place could exist in any culinary mecca and be a success. My mother and I went to eat here while we were visiting Hutchinson island and it had good reviews. The waitress was very attentive and sweet. The restaurant had one other couple in there, which was strange for 8pm on a Thursday evening. We found the menu very limited. There is no hard liquor, just wines and Bellini. We both had the same chicken which was good not great. The overall experience was just fine, nothing really special for $26 chicken. read more

We tried this restaurant for the first time last night and it has become my new "most favorite restaurant ever"! From the Braised Short Rib Poutine appetizer to the Butternut Squash-filled Ravioli and Beet Pappardelle, we were in culinary heaven. With just the right amount of herbs and seasonings, every bite was blissful. We tried the Macaroons for dessert and were not disappointed with the light, airy, just sweet enough, tasty confections. This place is beyond fantastic. I come here regularly for lunch and for a nice dinner. The food is remarkably fresh and prepared perfectly. A nice blend of concepts and tastes; I would say a mix of East Coast and West Coast, with some nuevo-Italian flare. Dinner can be on the pricey side, especially if you're doing the tasting menus. If you're on a budget, go here for lunch instead. Also, dinner service can be inconsistent, so be prepared to make reservations, and wait between courses. But the food is definitely worth it. read more

My husband and I hosted our wedding at Hutchinson Island and could not be happier with our decision to go with The Chef's Table catering service. They were absolutely amazing and BY FAR exceeded our expectations (and we had pretty high expectations)! We chose to do the pig roast, brussel sprouts, Tuscan potatoes, and cornbread. We still have people talking about the food and I think it was the best wedding food I've ever had. Aside from the food, the chefs and staff were also amazing. Angela, the catering manger, handled everything and I really mean everything! She was more like a wedding planner and I couldn't have pulled it all together without her. She organized everything, including coordinating with our other vendors, making sure we had everything for the set up that we needed, and I'm sure so many other things that I'm not even aware of. I really can't say enough great things about our experience!!! Thank you so much Angela, Chef Adam, and all others at The Chef's Table for helping make our special day so perfect! We are looking forward to our next trip to Stuart so we can try the restaurant as well. read more
