I took the toasted raviolis out of the bag and opened the container and the dipping sauce was all over the raviolis making a few of them soggy. No lid to be found for the dipping sauce. I don't write reviews lightly, but this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. I walked in and sat at the bar at 5:20 PM and didn't get asked for a drink for 20 minutes--and even then, I had to ask for a menu myself. The bar was just as bad: people sitting there were actively trying to order drinks and being ignored. It took 30 minutes just to place an order. From there, it only got worse. I had to remind the server/ bar tender to bring my salad. Then I waited... and waited... and waited. I checked my watch at least 10 times--by 6:20 PM, I still hadn't been served. Meanwhile, the bar atmosphere was chaotic. The bartender, B (who wasn't my server) acted like he was hosting a party in his own basement--swearing behind the bar and focusing almost exclusively on a group of regulars while everyone else was ignored. Those same regular customers were openly complaining. One guy even said it would be faster to order DoorDash--and honestly, he wasn't wrong. To make matters worse, staff were openly talking about the food being frozen. Regulars were complaining about meals being microwaved. There was even some kind of party happening in the kitchen while service completely fell apart--at one point, bar patrons joked about serving themselves. When the food finally came, it was a disaster. Everything was drowned in sauce to the point you couldn't tell what was what--chicken parm, fried ravioli, all just a soggy mess. The ravioli tasted frozen and terrible, and the chicken was over-fried to the point of being inedible. The heavy sauce felt like it was there to hide how bad the food actually was. Even trying to pay was a struggle--I put my card out and the server walked right past it multiple times. Completely clueless. If this is supposed to be Italian food, I'll gladly skip Italy. And honestly, if you're starving, 100 miles from the next restaurant with barely enough gas to get there--keep driving. You'll be happier you did. Avoid this place read more

I have been to this location a few times now and they have never disappointed me. It is clean, the staff are friendly and the food is really good. I particularly like that there is numerous seafood items with choices that aren't all fried. Tonight my sister and I decided to dine in, it had been awhile and she was craving a meatball. We both like the style of bread. I prefer warm roles, but this is somewhat traditional and the butter is soft. She got the kids spaghetti and meatball. This is a generous sized dish. I got the broiled haddock with baked stuffed shrimp. The fish was cooked perfectly and had a nice buttery flavor. The shrimp were delicious, the stuffing was great and they weren't dry. My sides were squash and mashed potatoes, also delicious! My sis had a pudding style dessert and the overall experience was great! read more

We are currently sitting at the bar. There are maybe 20 people in the entire restaurant. It's been 50 minutes and we have not received our dinners. It took 35 minutes just to get soup! Soup!!! It's not busy here at all. I'm sure all I'll get a reply telling me how long you've been in business, and how you'll take this seriously. It's like a form letter on all your other replies. It's absolutely ridiculous that the service has been this slow on a slow night. Even the couple next to us has been waiting over thirty minutes for dip. What has happened to the Chateau???!! Food came out, plate was burning hot but food was luke warm. I had the chicken, ziti, and broccoli. Husband had the fish that was flavorless, and all the breadcrumbs were burnt to the plate it was on. The people next to us did finally get their dip and it was stone cold. Their meals came out minutes after their dip and one dish was cold. How did their meals come out after 30 minutes and ours took 50? Seems maybe it wasn't sent to the kitchen or the kitchen was understaffed. The manager Courtney came and spoke with the family next to us about their food. Perhaps if Courtney was present in the restaurant things would have run better. It was a terrible experience. Perhaps Chateau should take a long hard look at how busy other places are and how slow they are and figure out if it's the service or the food quality that is driving people away and maybe step it up. We ordered a family thanksgiving meal. Pre-paid $95. Feeds 3-5 people.....I'm not exaggerating when i say the turkey was so bad none of us could eat it. It was very low grade, was SLIMEY, and just not quality turkey at all. Was rubbery. The sides were ok. But everyone was so put off by the turkey we really didnt eat it. This is for an Uber Eats order. I ordered the "Italian Combo" which was described in the menu as my choice of two of the chicken parm, eggplant parm or veal parm. I selected chicken and eggplant parm. I was then prompted to select a pasta side. I opted for the gnocchi pomodoro for a $3.00 up-charge. I was then prompted for the kind of sauce I wanted. I selected marinara. What I expected: two half servings each of chicken and eggplant parm with marinara and a side dish of gnocchi with pomodoro sauce. What I got: three slices of fried eggplant with some gnocchi dumped on top, smothered in marinara. No chicken parm, no pomodoro sauce. The gnocchi clearly was not drained well before being dumped on the eggplant, everything was just a soggy pasty mess with water sloshing in the bottom of the container. The Italian Combo is $28.95 plus the $3.00 for the up-charge on the gnocchi = $31.95 An order of eggplant parm and with the same $3.00 up-charge = $28.50. Major item left out of order. Food inedible. Very disappointed with our dining experience at The Chateau on 6/25/25. I ordered my "go to Chateau Chopped Salad" for my dinner for $14.50. It was delivered to our table without a drop of salad dressing. No one came to check to see if we needed anything for 30 minutes until our "server" brought our check and asked if we needed anything else. He offered to bring me salad to take home! I don't need dressing at home. our server brought a cup of Italian Wedding soup to my Mom who ordered a bowl to be her dinner. When he brought it, I told him she ordered a bowl and he switched it out. We left with a take out order of pasta with meat sauce, my leftover salad (chopped lettuce for 14.50 w/o dressing) . My Mom ordered unsweetened iced tea and I ordered a glass of Rose and a water with lemon. Never got the lemon. Our bill was $58.28. I expressed my discouragement to our waiter. Our service sucked, the food was minimal at best and the bill hefty for a plate of pasta with meat sauce, a bowl of lettuce e/o dressing and a small bowl of soup. NO ONE came by to offer an apology, an expoanation or compensation. The reviews on this place are all over the board! This location has been quite a few different restaurants over the years. It's in a good spot, so I'm not sure why the turnover. In any event, we stopped in for lunch during the week. It wasn't busy - a few folks were in the bar and a little less than half the booths were occupied. A hostess stand is right inside the door; we were shown to a booth right away which was plenty big for six adults (we are a party of two). Our waitress showed up in good time and was very friendly. We placed a drink order and she asked if we wanted bread, which we declined. By the time the drinks arrived we were ready to order. My lunch companion is a local and often orders 'take out' from here through an on-line food delivery apps. A recent order for pizza was delivered instead with what appeared to be a family's dinner. That was most likely the delivery company, and although attempts were made to get someone to fix the error no reply was received from the delivery company. Other than this one bit of confusion, she has never had a complaint about the food from here. I am supposed to limit my tomato intake, so I opted for a sandwich while my friend had chicken parm with pasta. Not sure if the portion size is different here between lunch and dinner, but the portion size was good for lunch: not too big, no left overs. My pastrami sandwich was not lean which makes eating it difficult as the pieces don't separate well and you end up pulling slices of meat off the bread. Not very lady like. My side of squash was very tasty and not too sweet. The restaurant and ladies room both seemed clean. No trouble with dirty flatware, menu's, table or booth. The restrooms are located in the back right corner of the restaurant. The bar is on the left as you enter and there are TV's in there as well as Kino. We both ordered a glass of wine and our lunch, with tip, came to about thirty two dollars each. So not a frugal lunch. I tried to look up their on-line menu before visiting and there is an error on the lunch menu page. The dinner menu page seems to work alright and I believe they are similar. As other reviewers have mentioned there is a Vegan Menu listed on their website that seems to not exist in reality so do call if you are looking for vegan foods, and if you are vegetarian definitely get the Marina, not the 'Tomato sauce' listed on the menu which seems to have meat in it although the menu does not specify that information. I had a delicious dinner and excellent service. The staff were prompt and friendly. I placed a to go order for full order of chicken parm with spaghetti and did not look into the bag when I paid. The portion was so small I couldn't believe it when I got home. The portion should be a large chicken breast or two smaller ones and a good sized helping of spaghetti as has been in the past.
