Restaurant 45 is one of the best I've been to in a while! I stopped in with my dad the other day and was happy we were able to grab a table. This wasn't my first time at 45, I've had a graduation party there before. However, it did remind me I have to go back more often. The restaurant itself is nice. Plenty of parking and lots of room inside of the building. They have many rooms for functions set up as well. Our waitress was Nikki, and she's fantastic. Great personality, bubbly, and helpful. I was very happy to have her! This night I ordered the chicken Loretta but had it over pasta. This was probably one of the best dishes I've had in a while. The pasta was cooked expertly, chicken was nice and crisp, and the ricotta mixture was the perfect amount of creamy. Restaurant 45 ended up being a solid local find. We passed by and decided to give it a shot, and overall it delivered a good experience. The interior is inviting with a large dining room, and the hostess was welcoming right away. Service stood out--attentive, consistent, and professional throughout the meal. The menu is extensive, almost to a fault, but it works in your favor if you're indecisive. They were out of one of the surf and turf specials, but with so many options it wasn't an issue. Drinks were well done--the spring sangria was a highlight and worth ordering again. We started with bread and truffle-style fries. The fries were overcooked and a bit too hard, but still flavorful and a generous portion. For mains, the short rib was pretty good and well-prepared. The chicken and broccoli leaned a little heavy on the garlic but was still enjoyable. Steak tips looked solid, and the fish and chips were another strong dish. Prices were a bit on the higher side, but for the amount of food and variety, it felt reasonable overall. In the end, not a bad spot at all for a suburban restaurant. I'm a food carnivore. However I'm also a person looking for great taste and atmosphere. 45 never ceases to amaze your eyes and Taste. Mid Summer and they have an on point menu and specials. My wife and I ordered and both were amazed by the presentation and flavors of our meal. I'll definitely keep coming back as well as show you that this restaurant delivers with eye and taste that will keep you coming back for more I can't speak about the service because it would be unfair to the quality of the food. Here for a private function. First impression: Large parking lot! (Connected to a salon and such.) We entered through a back door that took us through the whole restaurant to get to the private function room. Decent size restaurant! The room held about 40 people. But still felt quaint. Had it's own private bathroom (great addition to a private party.) Tables of 8. Staff- very nice and on top of drink orders, also very efficient when we needed to add a chair to our table. Overall they did a nice job with the event. Buffest style! Even buffet style appetizers! Homemade chips, artichoke dip and mac and cheese balls. I think it was a vodka sauce to accompany the balls. Everything needed a little salt. The main course, Italian bread, salad with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing, lasagna, penne, chicken alfredo & chicken parm. Everything was a solid 3 stars. But the chicken was super thin and a lot of cheese came off in buffest style serving. This place would be a steady eddy of restaurants. You can always assure a 3 star night. Food was good, nice place. Only bad review is they refused to serve us alcohol because we were from out of state.

This place was solid. Real score probably a 3.5. The good: Service was polite and attentive. The facility was well cared for on the inside. We were in a function room. Middle of the road: the food was buffet style, so always some downfall with that presentation (applies to everywhere). The cheese lasagna was CHEESY. What can improve: the outside of tje building needs some updates and signage to the front door would be ideal. read more

A great Italian restaurant located on 109 in Medway. Family owned for many years with authentic Italian food, as well as some American food. Our waitress was patient and there when we needed her. We started with the Focaccia bread appetizer. A huge piece of bread with plenty of garlic, tomatoes and olive oil. Wife had the lobster salad and was pleased. I had the chicken Pesto Tortellini, a giant piece of chicken with a nice portion of tortellini and a great pesto sauce. Son had a good size piece of steak, and daughter the salmon special. Everyone finished and were happy bellied. A nice older clientele, which shows that the food is good and the prices are right. read more

I went there recently for the first time many years with my husband my Mom and my stepfather. We will not be back. The meal started out with a waitress who forgot to bring us bread and we asked the second time and she brought us cold bread and cold hard butter. When our food came out my Mom and I ordered swordfish and both are dishes were very cold, we asked them if they could reheat it for us. My husband and stepfather ordered medium rare prime rib and they both were served overcooked prime rib that look like meatloaf. When the waitress came by to ask how everything was we told them the stakes were both overcooked and they said they did not have any more left. So they both ate their overcooked meals. Tonight was a long night. I think the amount of people overwhelmed the kitchen. Got there around 6:45ish left at almost 9. Took way too long to get food and drinks. Usually have a great time here. Again I think it's the amount of people on a Saturday night might have been understaffed. I would come here again just at another time. The food was alright, I had it better here before. Maybe we were here on a rough night, but I became impatient towards the end and just wanted to leave. Their FREE bread and butter they bring to your table was 4 slices of WONDER bread! Lol Come on step it up!! By comparison the chain restaurant Longhorns gives you a very nice complementary warm loaf! I got the veal Marcella. The veal was very very thin medallions. Way too thin and tough. I would not recommend that meal. Was up from Florida, for a funeral. My wife and I met my sister there for a dinner after a wake on 07/27/25. Food was great. I had the lobster roll and fried clam plate, along with a dinner sized Caesar salad. It was phenomenal. Our waitress Cait was outstanding, very attentive and quick to ask if we wanted more bread or another drink. this review pains me to post because i have always loved restaurant 45. the food is absolutely amazing but i can not in good heart recommend this place due to the service we have recieved compared to others. waited over 30 mins for bread and food to come out for a party of 4 while the group next to us was able to recieve bread much earlier. we also had to wait for drinks which wouldnt be a problem until we saw the larger group next to us receive their drinks much earlier and them having more bar drinks. i will not support a restaurant that treats customers differently. so what those customers are regulars i should still receive the same service. beyond disappointed because food is amazing but as a customer it wouldn't hurt to also feel valued. very disappointed and makes me hesitant to return. just keep this is mind. read more

Stopped in with friends for the first time after a recommendation and it did not disappoint. We did sit in the bar area which is first come first serve. Staff was very accommodating and attentive. bar area was relaxed and not too loud which was nice because usually other bar areas are too loud to chat. Food was great! Lots of options. I ordered the fish tacos which were delicious had a nice little kick from the sauce. My friends ordered the steak and the zios chicken. All were cooked perfectly, came out hot, and tasted great. First visit to this place. Ordered clam plate special. Only about a dozen fried clams place over a mound of fries and onion rings to make it look like a larger portion than what it actually is. Out of the dozen, ate two clams that had a spoiled flavor....so not fresh clams. Noticed waitress did not offer bread to our table but offered bread to the tables in front of us and behind us. Not a good impression for a first visit so likely won't go again or recommend. read more

WOW! Once again 45 hits it out of the park ! We recently had a bridal shower for 50 in the large function room! Spacious and well appointed it sets just the right ambiance for a great event. We had two dedicated servers - Maura and Marie ( if I recall names correctly) they were so efficient in managing the flow of the afternoon- drinks, appetizers , buffet and desert - as well as friendly! Stuffed mushrooms and Mac and cheese balls to start - always delicious. The main buffet consisted of the mesclun salad , chicken ziti and broccoli, chicken parm and the steak tips, mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. Every guest raved about how good the food was! The ambience and the service at restaurant 45. We're both pretty good. The food on the other hand was subpar at best. For starters their menu is way too long. That's always a red flag for me. We ordered a mixed green salad. it was OK, but there were broken up pieces of pita bread on top which was weird. I wonder if they ran out of croutons. The chicken dish I ordered was stuffed with spinach and mozzarella and very heavily breaded too much breading and too much stuffing inside. The gravy reminded me of the gravy you'd get on a Salisbury steak. It really was terrible. My husband had the chicken Parm and it was completely overcooked. Rice pilaf left on the side look like it had been cooked two days prior. The prices were reasonable but I would not return unless they completely did a menu overhaul. read more

Came in Sunday, sat at the bar with my husband. Food was very good (weren't really any bellies on the fried clams). I was happy to see they had a non alcoholic wine on the menu, and my husband loved the espresso martini which were "made with love" the bartender Taylor was very attentive and had a nice personality, she kept us laughing and made it a great night!
