I ordered a sub as part of a group order and listed my food allergy upon ordering. After eating some of my food, I could tell I was having an allergic reaction. I had trouble breathing, hives covered my entire body, and was in extreme discomfort. If this place ever says they can accommodate food allergies, I would not trust that. I work in Franklin, my selection is two places, Santa Fe when I want a Burrito or George's for pretty much everything else. George's really does a nice job on everything they make. Always fresh, always good. Very Hospitable and friendly. It's mainly a take away establishment. There are a couple of small tables which mainly look like a spot to sit when waiting to pick up. The establishment is really clean, organized and I love the photos on the walls. They also did not have a hardcopy menu so I was stuck. Ordered takeout based on high yelp reviews. Menu lists pizza prices for "medium" and "large". "Medium" prices would make you think you are getting a "medium" pizza, when in fact you are getting a small. Ordered two Greek salads. They had brown lettuce, very old cabbage, and rotten cucumbers and tomatoes. Yuck! Garlic and olive pizza went into the garbage. Worst garlic and olive pizza I've ever tried. Either the garlic or olives were marinated in vinegar. It had soaked through the now very soggy crust. Yuck! "Highlight" was the mushroom, pepper, onion pizza. The people working here are super friendly and welcoming. Very nice people! Food came out hot and fresh. Veggie pizza was really good and tasty. I enjoyed the eggplant sub but the sauce was a little acidic and gave me heartburn. As for the Italian sub, it wasn't very good. The fresh vegetables on it were good but there were cheap meats in the sub. The mortadella was like bologna and didn't look like any mortadella I've ever seen. Salami was not good either. I'd suggest charging $1 or $1.50 more for the sub and just get better quality meats to put in the sub! I'd give George's another try in the future. I'm thinking I would try another type of pizza and/or a gyro. read more

Picked up a couple of large pizzas and sodas to support George's during this Covid 19 quarantine. Pizzas were fantastic, really nice crust. Pretty busy with a line of customers using social distancing as they were waiting for their orders. Good luck to George's and if you need pizza this is the place to go. We got take out from this eatery. We had a group eating so chose a bunch of cheese and a bunch of pepperoni pizzas. The sauce was excellent and the pepperoni was devoured by the group. I'm not the biggest fan of New England Greek style pizza but it's all we have here in Franklin and George's is the best of the bunch by a long shot IMHO. I've tried all of them aside from Sierra's because that place still isn't open yet. This is the only one worth going to a second time. Just had the lamb gyro dinner and the stuffed grape leaves dinner. Everything was wonderful. The grape leaves had avgolemono (egg & lemon) sauce on them, which most places don't do. The gyro wasn't the pre-made meat. It was delicious and so fresh. And the pilaf was some of the best I've ever had. The Greek salad made it perfect. The portions were large. My family orders from George's once a week and never had an issue until today. I have never been spoken to more rudely or disrespectfully by the owner himself in my life. The chicken was left off one of our salads, I politely asked for it to be added (and pay the difference). I picked up an order today and watched the owner give a huge cookie for free to a lady and her son. Just a class act type of business owner. This place is a little hard to find. I only found out about it by word of mouth but the food is fantastic. I haven't had their pizza but the Greek food is so good. It is perhaps the best place to get Greek food in the area. The beef gyro I got was huge and the sauce was so good. The beef was tender and flavorful. I was in Greece last year and this brought me back. The rice pilaf that came with it was also fantastic. It was perfectly garlicky and the portion size was generous. But perhaps the best part about it was the baklava. Yeah homemade and so good. Gotta like sweet things though. They are also really friendly. The place is small but the food is so good. If you want Greek food go there and get some delicious Greek food. I would really recommend it and tell other people because it is really good and I want to make sure this source of good Greek food stays near me. read more

All toppings are fresh and tasty! Crust is just right. Sauce is great. My daughter will only eat a take out George's Greek salad with grilled chicken, crispy fresh and loaded with chicken.
