She met with us ahead of the party, reviewed the dining options, food allergies, and desired foods. And! And! - appropriate leftovers for lunch the next day for us to recreate on our own. Chef Hilary and assistant Tim did a wonderful job from start to finish- prep work, cooking serving , portions sizes and - most importantly- clean up! I had time to visit with my guests instead of running to the kitchen constantly. We had plenty for the next day, all tasty and easy to reheat. I'd hire Chef Hilary again and hope I have another opportunity soon. Hire her. You will be happy.

Awesome Blossoms These are multi-colored, fruit-shaped gummies that give off a strong fruity smell upon opening the pouch. The flavors were very bold and tasted like real fruit juice. Amazing! There was a line to order when I went in around 10am but it moved fast. This cafe is very modern inside which is not like most places in Maui. There were maybe ten tables so there was a decent amount of seating. Parking is limited and there are only 10 spaces. We were gonna leave since there were no alternative outside parking but then we decided to circle back and found a spot. You could park at the long's drugs shopping center across the street and walk over. I ordered an iced chai latte and it had good flavor. There were brown sugar bits at the bottom of the drink in not sure if that was intentional or on purpose. It was a little bit on the sweeter side. When I mixed the drink the sugar melted into the drink. I read some reviews that the chai latte was very spiced so I was hoping that wasn't the case. My partner ordered the vanilla latte which he liked. They had some fall drink specials like a pumpkin chai latte and pumpkin foam add on since it was October. Overall, their drinks seemed good quality and the cafe had a nice ambiance.

The reason we visit here is for their mochi. The mochi is some of the best I've ever had, and I have been to Japan to try theirs. The flavors are chocolate, peanut butter chocolate, and azuki bean (red bean). I'm not a peanut butter fan nor chocolate, so I just ate the red bean mochi. The mochi is so soft and the red bean filling is not too sweet and filled with a good amount of it. Since it is a family business, the hours are fluctuate constantly. There was a point where every time we visited, it was closed during our stay for 4 years straight. Check their website to confirm hours.

If you are Latino, I guarantee your favorite thing in all their snacks will be the "Spicy Whole Seed" and "Sweet & Sour Whole Seed" if you're anything like my Mexican hubby. We could not stop eating them! The LiHing Mango and dried Papaya were also very delicious and had the perfect combination of flavor and texture. The LiHing gummy Peach rings are unexplainable. It tastes like no peach rings you have ever experienced. I don't even like peach rings like that. Strangely, it feels like love was literally put in the bag. It's not listed as an ingredient, but it's totally in there. Maybe it's Aloha, maybe it's just quality ingredients. Whatever it is, I hope the recipe never changes, because everyone should experience it! If you're a "foodie" this is a must stop shop on the island.
