If you don't make it, then order from their online shop. You won't regret it! If you are Latino, I guarantee your favorite thing in all their snacks will be the "Spicy Whole Seed" and "Sweet & Sour Whole Seed" if you're anything like my Mexican hubby. We could not stop eating them! The LiHing Mango and dried Papaya were also very delicious and had the perfect combination of flavor and texture. The LiHing gummy Peach rings are unexplainable. It tastes like no peach rings you have ever experienced. I don't even like peach rings like that. Strangely, it feels like love was literally put in the bag. It's not listed as an ingredient, but it's totally in there. Maybe it's Aloha, maybe it's just quality ingredients. What a cool place. I expected Obachan (grandmother) but didn't see her. A very nice and engaging gentleman was there to help us. We found what we needed and more. Actually, we saw their product at Foodland the day before. It comes in small bags and no larger. Anything Lehi is good - mango, nerds, etc. Theirs was exceptionally good. If you grew up on Maui or are from Maui, then you know Obachan's. Their iconic pink bags are seen in pretty much every grocery store, convenience store, snack shop, etc all over Maui. They are a crackseed and candy company and have been satisfying our snack cravings since 1989. That's over 30 years of yummy treats and sweets! "Crack seed" has become shorthand for a variety of dried, candied, and pickled fruits including pineapple, lemon, mango, and ginger. My go to includes their ever popular li hing mui - from the li hing mui seed to the sweet seedless variety. I can't get enough of this delicious, sweet, tangy dried plum. It's honestly a staple in my diet and I'll sometimes even chase a shot of liquor with a li hing mui seed, lol. They also have candies covered in li hing mui powder. My favorites include their li hing mui strawberry belts, mui bears with lemon, and li hing sour water melon. They have so many to choose from and best part is that they're available for shipping if you can't get to them locally. I've never been to their shop, but you can easily find their products everywhere. During the holidays, you can find them at craft fairs. They put together gift bags/tins at a really reasonable price and they make for great 'local kine' gifts. They are also great corporate gifts and they are able to accomodate large companies. They even offer an option to customize each bag with your own message. You can even use their treats for fundraisers and they are able to serve all islands and provide options! Above all, Obachan's has been a great supporter of our Maui community. They have graciously donated snacks for all of our amazing healthcare staff. While Oahu has Lin's, Maui has Obachan's. Skip all the grocery store snacks and come here instead. They packaged all the fruits and candies in 3oz bags ranging from only $2-3 each. There are the popular li hing flavors, but it's not too strong which I like. These are the perfect souvenirs to bring back for friends and family too. We ended up grabbing a few items to try and ate them on the plane. Although it's a small shop, they have plenty of options to choose from. We got the ginger candy, li hing ginger candy, mango drops and lychee drops. I would get all of these again. read more

Woohoo! Love a good old mom-and-pop shop! I grew up on this stuff and you can't go wrong with these tasty treats. As soon as I seen these I CRIED! I remembered one of the stores on Oahu carrying this product. Yes literally, "a girl in a candy store!" It was sooooo exciting! I didn't joke around though. I made sure to take 2 of everything except for the ones I didn't try out. infact I think I took 4 of those I knew my kids would steal from me.
