For the last couple of weeks, I've been hooked on their fried rice. Prior to that, it was their pork belly basil. Today I decided it change things up. Lunch was Thai Basil with eggplant and pork belly. Very savory sauce with a lot of heat (cause I like it hot). The basil gives it a nice jolt of freshness that cuts through the savory sauce and fatty pork belly. Carrots and broccoli are sauteed til al dente. The eggplant is nice and soft and soaks up the flavor in the sauce. I think I might have a new fave!

He planned the meal with me and catered to our restrictions. He even made chicken nuggets for the youngest with a homemade mango bbq sauce, that we all ended up sampling. The kids claimed it was the best chicken nuggets they've ever had , they were very good! We caught fish the day before and Kevin graciously added it to the menu, which was very short notice. Everything was amazing, it was truly the best meal all of us have ever had, and in the comfort of our home! He brought a wonderful helper, Sam, and they both made sure all our needs were taken care of, to filling our water glasses, providing wine, setting a gorgeous table, cleaning the glass on our door and lowering our shades on the porch when the sun started to set. He thought of everything to make sure we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Kevin even took the time to give my MIL pointers on how to cook fish. We have ordered a mix of different sized boards to fit our needs for each event. The boards were beautifully presented and offered a variety of meats, cheeses, and crackers to choose from. It was because of them that I discovered the Sartori Cabernet Sauvignon BellaVitano Cheese (delicious wine cheese) and that pesto is amazing with honey. Haha :) At first we weren't sure if it was "enough" food for the amount of people we were expecting, but they turned out to be perfect for snacking/grazing and everyone loved the presentation. It can get quite a bit pricey, but they will work with you to create a menu that fits your budget and ideas if needed, and can even incorporate any dietary restrictions or preferences. For us, it was worth it to add something that was not only pretty and delicious, but saved us a lot of time! All in all, I'd recommend Charcuterie Plus Bar to add a little special touch to any event.

The most generously filled pork buns I've ever had. The butter rolls too, I've never had anything like it. The butter in the center of the rolls, genius! We are planning to go to the bakery before we leave to get some buns to go!! Cons- it's kinda far from where we are, but that's just because of where we're staying. Mmmmm, can't wait to go and eat more!! Will take better pictures when we go too!
