    3/28/26 Morning impromptu stop
    Tris W.

What is there not to like about Four Sisters Bakery? There is always a line to go in, they are fast and their baked goods are so delicious. Ive had some amazing butter rolls but Four Sisters is probably my fave. My little one and I made an impromptu visit again this morning and we were not disappointed yet again. We ordered ensamadas, bibinka, malasadas and butterrolls to take home. We love it. Support local always.

Came here to try out the famous butter rolls. Line moved fast - props to the workers. People were buying dozens!! I got some for myself too. I was elated to see the big slab of butter in the middle. The butter melts on the hot roll and soaks in and it becomes this sweet, slightly salty roll of goodness. Can't go wrong with sweet cream butter and bread. Yum!!! I'll definitely be back!!! It's cash only, so being enough cash!! Parking: Two stalls in the front. A good amount of street parking

Delicious!!! Get your orders in early! Be prepared for a line! Totally worth the wait. They're very accommodating as well!

Easily could eat all of this!

If you are a sucker for bread then you have to come here for the butter buns and walked out with a cinnamon roll and two Spanish rolls. The butter buns were hot out of the oven and despite the piece of foil in the box, I still got a light burn on my bare thigh! A small sacrifice for something so absolutely delicious. You all know I'm a hard grader so when I say this is 5 out of 5, 10 out of 10, it has to be exceptional. Melt in your mouth goodness without tasting fatty from the butter. The cinnamon roll is also very soft and has a good amount of cinnamon, thus the name. And nice raisins too. And the ensaimada is very soft, buttery and topped with sugar. A diabetic nightmare, I get it. When on vacation, treat yo self and support local businesses They are cash only and street parking can be a bit of work but it's okay if you have to walk because you need to burn off all the calories from these goodies Mercy!!

I know this place is known for their butter rolls but we came here to try their malasadas, banana bread and a cinnamon roll. I also wanted to try their char siu manapua but they did not make them the day of our visit. This is a good local take out bakery since there is no seating in or outside of the bakery. We noticed many locals come here to pick up a couple dozen of their butter rolls so they must be tasty ! We took our sweets and enjoyed them on the beach before doing a beautiful beach path walk so we could walk off some of the calories. Very tasty and I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Note: this bakery is cash only.

These butter rolls are causing a big hype in Maui! And these are absolutely LEGIT!!!! My Maui family and friends often rave about these butter rolls, and had a box ready for me! It is definitely buttery! bread is soft, and fresh. It tasted almost like there might be a sort of sweet dab of filling. I can certainly understand why this place is popular. So delicious! If you get a chance, you need to stop by immediately and get yourself some.

    Buttery and delicious!

Highly recommended! We made it just in time for some butter rolls. They were delicious, so soft and the right amount of flavor! It was worth it to stop by and pick up a box. Affordable prices! We came towards the closing time and they were still fresh!

Their butter rolls are to die for!!! Sooo much butter & a very reasonable price. My only regret is not buying more.

Four Sisters is a small bakery in Wailuku that serves up Filipino and Hawaiian baked goods (they also sell some Filipino groceries!). I really did not know what to expect when I came for their butter rolls, but they exceeded any expectations I had! They were soft, sweet, and, of course, buttery!! We had to sneak a taste while in the parking lot and they were soo good fresh. Still good once cooled or reheated though! The taste is similar to Filipino senorita bread. My family really loved them! Next time, we hope to try more items like their Filipino baked goods. Heads up! Lines do form (I came at ~7am), but it goes relatively fast! The inside is also quite small, so it fits maybe 4-8 people at most.

    Cinnamon Rolls

Went on a Thursday morning around 9am. Staff were quick to take my order. Waited about 5 minutes only and there was a group of 4 and another customer before me. Service was quick and friendly. I pass by the bakery a lot on my way to work and usually see a line by 6:30/7am, but moves at a good pace. This is my second time getting their cinnamon rolls and it has turned into my favorite dessert from them! Usually we would get the butter rolls as that's what they are known for, but their cinnamon rolls are amazing as well. My husband enjoys it as is, but I like my baked items a little warmer, so I just pop it in the microwave for 15-20 seconds. It's not dense and has the perfect balance of sweetness and cinnamon, along with the right amount of raisins. I will keep going back for these delightful rolls as they pair well with my morning coffee. 2 Cinnamon Rolls for under $8, delicious, supporting a small long time local business, and didn't spend hours waiting. That's a win for me! Just a heads up, it's cash only.

Butter rolls, Malasadas, cream filled Malasadas
    Heidi B.

The BUTTER ROLLS were amazing! I was dying over these. We drove out of our way (per recommendation) and it was worth it! The Malasadas were good but not amazing! We didn't care for the cream one but don't love cream filled donuts or other items like this but we wanted to give it a try. It's a little hole in wall bakery in the middle of the town. And they were cash only (so bring your cash). I wanted to go back for more but they closed in the afternoon. But yum!

We ordered a dozen of the perfectly buttery and slightly sweet butter rolls (we ate two). So good!
    Mary N.

Highly recommend getting the butter rolls! I suggest you buy at least a dozen. One won't be enough! You won't regret it and it will be good to share! The rolls are perfectly buttery and has a sweetness to it. They are pillowy soft and were just baked fresh as they were still warm.

Just stopped by to get some butter rolls for my staff. Got me 3 cascarone for my afternoon snack. I didn't know they made them. Very good!. Outsides were crunchy and sweet while the insides were sticky/gooey mochi. Love this place!

I have come here quite a few times and I always have a hard time choosing. The prices are incredibly reasonable so often times, I'll get two or three entrees. Pricing is as follows: 1 choice $9, 2 choices $10, 3 choices $11. Really good deal for the amount of food if you ask me! They offer mostly Filipino and sometimes local style cuisine. My all-time favorite is their sweet and sour spare ribs. Sweet, tangy, and just absolutely delicious. I crave it all the time! Other favorites would have to be their chop steak, pork and peas, and chicken papaya. My team and I have also worked with them to cater large corporate events (we're talking 1000+ people) and they have delivered each and every time. They helped make our lunch and dinner service so smooth and we have received numerous positive feedback from everyone that tried their food. Not to mention, their prices and portion sizes are incredibly reasonable. I don't think many other places can compare. If you're considering them for catering, you can now stop by and try out their food at this location. Their menu rotates throughout the week, but you can follow them on social media for the latest info on their menu and their opening hours. Lastly, I believe the parking next to the building will be going away soon, but the Wailuku parking garage is now open and is right behind this building, making it easily accessible. The first two hours are free. All in all, highly recommend T-Ann-J!

It was a great decision. The wedding and reception were outside, at the oceanfront with waves crashing in the background, late afternoon into evening. The food was fabulous. I'll let the menu speak for itself: Passed appetizers: - Strawberry and pineapple skewers - Coconut shrimp with marmalade - Brie and mushroom in pastry cup with mango chutney - Kalua pork pot stickers with BBQ sauce - plus a terrific sushi and sashimi bar. Dinner stations: - "Island Favorites Buffet." Kalbi ribs, macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi with passionfruit beurre blanc, wasabi potato casserole, and sugar snap peas with sesame and ginger. - "Carving Station and Salads." Sirloin of beef and pork loin, with mint jelly, Maui Gold pineapple chutney, and horseradish sauce. Hawaiian sweet bread rolls. Upcountry baby Romaine with Kula corn, dried mango, toasted macadamia nuts, and citrus vinaigrette. Marinated Kamuela tomatoes, shaved Maui onions, and Surfin Goat dairy cheese crumble. - "Stir Fry Station." Beef, shrimp, scallops, chicken, tofu, an assortment of vegetables, Soba noodles, penne pasta, jasmine rice, ginger garlic sauce, lemongrass sauce and spicy coconut sauce. - And the shusi/sashimi bar continued through dinner. Dessert was Chef Gannon's famous individual pineapple upside down cakes with vanilla ice cream (with bowls of berries for those that couldn't do the dairy/gluten issue). The presentations, serving setups (ie, marble slabs for the sushi station) and attitude of the staff were all as good as it gets. Even Bev Gannon herself showed up pre-wedding to see how the setup was going.
