The Food We decided to put their "best in town" claims to the test, and they did not disappoint: * Fish and Chips: They advertise these as some of the best around, and I'm happy to report they aren't exaggerating. The breading was perfectly light--not greasy or heavy--and the fish itself was delicate, flaky, and cooked to perfection. * BLT with Grilled Halloumi: My wife went with this, and the addition of the halloumi was a game-changer. Served on a pretzel bun, it was a unique and delicious twist on a classic. * The Fries: You can't have a pub lunch without good fries. These are those "just right" beer pub fries--crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Easily my favorite style. Verdict The atmosphere was great, the service handled the crowd well, and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be back for lunch on our next trip.
