Was I impressed by Cave Inn, the snack stand selling churros at Camp Snoopy in Knott's Berry Farm? No. Would I go back, should we spend another day at Knott's? Of course.
My kids love churros and will demand them as soon as they enter a place that's likely to have a churro stand. Amusement parks, zoos--they practically sniff the air for cinnamon and sugar. I'm guessing Knott's has more than one churro stand, but Cave Inn is the one in Camp Snoopy, where the little kids hang out. I went to buy churros while my nanny and kids waited in line for a ride. There was a line for the snacks, too, but it went fast, and the woman working the register was nice.
I bought three churros and two sodas, and the total was somehow $38. The churros weren't good, and my soda was Diet Pepsi when I wanted Diet Coke.
That said, the boys were happy with their churros, and I appreciated the refreshment of a cold fountain soda. If you want churros and soda at Camp Snoopy, you might have to shell out at Cave Inn. read more
