We passed this rigid structure many times on the way to get fish and chips at Kevin's mobile trailer; a mere 5 minutes away sitting busy on the harbour.
We've been down to the harbour many's a time for Kevin's fish & chips, and every time we drove by we said we should give this place a try. So today we did.
It sold cod which I do prefer (and they offer hake which I thoroughly dislike), but Kevin only offers haddock as the one white fish option.
We got our usual one portion choosing cod, chips and a portion of French fried onions at £10.45 between the two of us.
We brought our own proper dinner plates and soft drinks and ate them straight away. We did enjoy the food but we agreed that it wasn't nearly as good as our usual Kevin treat. So it's just about 3 star.
That's that curiosity satisfied. We don't regret trying it just the once, but we'll stick with Kevin even though it's haddock and if he's not there then we'll go to the Pit Stop. All these places are close by if you have a car.
