I locked my keys in the car when I was at Chantilly Academy of Gymnastics. CAG called Kevin for me. He's the owner of The Car Connection. He walked over and broke into my car for me, got my keys and never even charged me. We had just moved here and didn't have a mechanic yet. Kevin earned my business that day. He's a really nice guy. I was referred to the Car Connection from an oil change place when I needed some major air conditioner work. I'm fairly familiar with cars and the price I was quoted seemed fair. The owner, Kevin, is a good guy. His walls are covered with race car and other hot-rod projects, as any real shop should be. His employees all seem top-notch from what I've observed -- and native English speakers! This is a pleasant contrast to some places where the staff all seem to have drifted up on shore in the last week, and the ink on their fake green cards is still drying. I was very happy with that work and have gone back to this place for minor work and more major repairs. Car Connection has a good relationship with a local rental car place, and they picked me up with a rental just a couple minutes after Kevin placed a call for me. The only "down" side to Car Connection is they are closed on Saturdays, but I suspect that's because the owner hires real mechanics rather than sub-minimum-wage illegals, and he probably expects them to have regular lives and families, to keep them loyal to the company. To me, knowing that my car is being worked on by someone with experience is worth the hassle of having of not being open Saturdays. They also have an after-hours key drop, so that's also an option on the weekends. read more

My parents and now my own family have been taking our cars to Car Connection as long as I can remember. The thing I love about them is not only do they do the best possible job, but I have never once felt like I've paid a cent more than I should for their work. It's so nice to have a convenient auto shop that does consistently great work that also has integrity. None of this one price for me, another price for my husband nonsense I had to put up with when I lived in another town. They always give you a fair price for the work done, and won't try to talk you into anything you don't absolutely need. Another great thing that they have is early bird/ late night drop off so you can drop your car off when it's convenient to you. I made the mistake of taking my car to another shop because it was in walking distance and I sincerely regretted it. That is not a mistake I'm going to repeat. Car Connection is fantastic at what they do and I can almost guarantee you'll be happy with their results. They know their stuff, they won't overcharge you or give you bad advice, and they will have your car working and back to you in a very reasonable amount of time. Great, reliable HONEST mechanics!!!! Dealership told us we had to replace a fan on the AC of our almost 4 year old SUV - $750.00 - conveniently 10K out of warranty. I was in tears - who has the money for huge repairs when you are still making the car payments. Took it over to Kevin to take a second look and he found NOTHING wrong with it! He could have easily sold me the same thing for $500 and I would have done it because I don't know any better and would have viewed it as a bargain compared to the dealership but he didn't!! This is honest hard working people. Do not expect a fancy place with a big screen tv. They will fix your car for a good price,period. I went to troubleshoot a problem with the a/c of my car. I have been using Car Connection to service my cars (5 of them) for years. I have found them to be honest and reliable. They do not try to "sell" you something you don't need. They perform routine checks of your car for free that most dealerships will charge you hundreds to do. They handle any make/model for a lot less than the service department at car dealers. This is run by a honest man with honest mechanics and I feel completely comfortable taking all of our cars there. I have recommended many people to them over the years and every one who has taken their car to them has become a return customer.
