Came in using class pass to try a class out! I was in the 7pm class. It's been a while since i've worked out and this class really put that into perspective for me. Lights were dim and music was pumpin. -a whole mood rather then a bright loud, cold gym. I loved that they warmed us up, worked us out and cooled us down with a nice stretch to complete the Class. Would definitely look into classes here to keep myself on track and motivated. read more

I would definitely recommend The Camp TC for anyone regardless where you are in your fitness journey. I took the 3 week challenge and immediately loved the workouts and the people at the gym. With newly found confidence and higher level of energy, I decided to continue my fitness journey by doing the 6 Week 20 pound challenge. Let me tell you where I started. I am 49 years of age, was 29 lbs over weight, and was in very poor physical shape. Additionally, I had been struggling with pain in my left elbow and right shoulder and was unable to do a single push up at my first workout. At the end of the 3 week Challenge, I had lost 3 pounds and had gain muscle, stamina, and endurance. My shoulder and elbow aches slowly disappeared. I wanted to push my self and see bigger results, that is why I did the 20lb challenge. By the end of 6 weeks, I had lost almost 21 pounds plus 3 pounds I had lost in the previous 3 weeks leading up the 6 week challenge for a total of 24 pounds. That's not all, during the last week of challenge our routine included doing 100 push-ups during the workouts. I was able to complete the push ups all in good form without modifications. My expectations were exceeded. Big thank you to all the Camp staff and owners and a very big thank you to Coach Mack, Michelle, and Ted! read more

The Camp Transformation Center is a gym that offers various programs to start new healthy lifestyles, with a nutrition program paired with exercises that are meant to either lose weight, or to recomposition your body by gaining muscle, and losing body fat. The program that I participated in was 6 weeks long with the goal of losing 5% body fat. It included eating, eating, eating, and eating, along with exercising twice a day for 5 days a week. One High Intensity Interval Training session, focusing on either upper body, lower body, or full body, paired with a resistance session training the same muscle groups targeted by the HIIT workout. As part of the nutrition guide, I had to consume 4.5 cups of rice, 6 cups of broccoli, and 24 ounces of chicken, along with 3 protein shakes a day, and exactly 15 almonds. At first it was difficult to eat so much, but as the weeks went by, it became easier, and I felt like I really needed it, especially with the amount of calories I was burning a day. My Apple Watch averaged over 1,200 calories burned on my training days. At the end of my program, I was able to reach my goal of losing 5% body fat, fixed my sleeping schedule, able to wake up before the sun comes up, and fit into the pile of clothes that I put away that wasn't able to fit anymore. Thank you to coach Ted, Mack, Lou, Jas, and Keri for the opportunity to transform an important aspect of my life, especially having my beautiful wife do the same program by my side. read more

I've been in the camp for a week few days doing their six-week fitness challenge. During the challenge, you have an FTDI diet that they provide which offers pescatarian and vegetarian options. You do have to commit to going at least five times but you can do more and even go more than once a day. All the trainers are good and they have the week broken down in to arm, leg, and full-body days. It's nice because you don't feel like you're doing the same workout each time you go in. If you are competitive this place could work for you but you have to be willing to push yourself On your own since everyone is going at their own pace. The camp only has group classes and ranges in the number of attendees. I've been to classes as low as 5/6 and as many as 20 approximately. This also depends on peak times bc they have three classes in the morning and evening and two on Saturday. They are closed Sunday but do have an app you can use. There is more to the six-week challenge and they offer a good amount of other challenges. But, if you want to just join as a member there's an option for that too. It's definitely worth checking them out. read more

I just completed my 20 day challenge and lost 21 pounds! While that is great, I gained so much more that has changed my life. I have wrestled with anxiety and depression off and on for the last few years and shortly after I began, my emotions began changing as well. At The Camp I have found a supportive group of people that push and encourage me to go out and do my best in every area of my life. When I joined I really was going to just do the six weeks, get my money back and leave. But from the first week I knew I had found a home. I was physically weak, out of shape and overweight when I started. Feeling this way made every day a chore just to get out of bed. My strength, stamina, and health has improved so much. Before I started, I had a hard time carrying bags of groceries up the stairs, now it is easy. What sets The Camp apart from other places I have worked out are the people that work there. ALL of the instructors are very well trained, incredibly nice, and willing to take the time to help members. This example is set by the owners, Louisa and Mack. They are amazing, they are so knowledgeable about health and fitness and their knowledge is deep. I have worked out at many gyms and the trainers/owners know the program they are teaching and selling, but not much about different programs. Therefore, if I asked about intermittent fasting, Keto, paleo, different ways to lift, how much cardio is enough or too much, etc. they couldn't answer the questions, they only knew what was right with their program. As a person who has spent much of her life reading and researching health and fitness, it annoyed me that the person who owned the gym had such a limited bank of knowledge. One other thing I love about working out at The Camp is that the workouts are different every day. I am a person who gets bored easily and I am starting my 8th week and have never been bored. I love it! I look forward to going to The Camp to get my day started out right. While I see results on the outside, it is the changes on the inside that mean the most to me. My depression has lifted, my mood is always great after a workout, and I feel hopeful again. All of that is worth so much more than the physical, but that is fabulous as well. read more

The Camp is not just a gym it's a second home. I found not only my family here, but myself. I cannot express the gratitude I have for this place. I have been able to overcome mental and physical health difficulties with their help. Not saying they are a cure to anything, but they make you want to do and be the best you, you can be. They are not only great trainers, but incredible friends. The community is phenomenal. I wake up at 4am everyday excited to come and workout just because these amazing people I get to call my Awesome Fit Family. read more

They have different programs you can choose from depending on your goal. I chose the program where I had to loose 20lb in 6 weeks. They give you a booklet with the information needed during those 6 weeks and it includes: frequent a&q, food you are allowed to eat, guide of meal plans, plan if you hit plateau, and also it gives you a guide where you can write all your goals and achievements during the week and what you can improve on. The workouts are amazing, they also have accommodations if you can't do a certain workout. The staff is really amazing, coaches, the owners and the people working there as well, there is a great ambience. I truly recommend this place if you are looking to really commit and stay focused! read more

Wasn't too sure on how COVID and working would be and kind of skeptical at first. Didn't know what I was walking into but I knew it was going to be good for me. This is my first challenge and definitely not my last. I truly enjoyed being here almost everyday, you really get to know the coaches and other people striving for the same thing as you. There is no judgment from anyone, all different ages and sizes . Prior I went to Planet Fitness and it says " no judgement zone" but there was definitely judgment everywhere you looked! And that's the reason I LOVE IT HERE!!!! Coach teddy really coaches/pushes you from the heart, as if he knew what you wanted and just wants to help you reach that goal. You can truly tell when someone enjoys what they do!! I finally enjoy working out to where I get up at 4am just to make sure I can get that workout in before my busy day. It's starting to become addicting, seeing the weight fall off . Even though it's a small amount, it's a start! Can't wait to see what the next challenge brings me. read more

So, I completed the 6 week, 20 lb challenge and want to share my experience.  To get the full picture, though, let me tell you where I started and what my motivation was. 9 weeks ago I visited my primary care physician for a routine physical.  Do that if you haven't!  Don't wait.  When I weighed in I topped the scale at just over 200 pounds; an all time high for me.  Okay, I thought, I can always lose some weight.  Then came the vitals & the conversation with the doc that started my mind thinking about solutions.  For the first time in my life my blood pressure was outside of the normal range and my resting heart rate was out of control.  My doc asked me to go pick up a home blood pressure machine & keep a daily journal for the next 2 weeks then come back to review the bloodwork and journal results.   7 weeks ago I went for the follow-up appointment.  Bloodwork was fine but the at-home results were in line with the BP & resting heart rate she had seen at her office.  She told me if I didn't fix it myself the next step is beta blockers which would mean being dependent upon medicine for the rest of my life.  That was it.  I left her office with a choice to make. When I got home, I asked my wife to join me on a journey of change.  She didn't need it but she is my rock so I knew if she would work out with me I wouldn't give up.   I called Jaz, explained my goals & scheduled time to come in for orientation.  It was time to get started.  My initial, official weigh in was 199.4 pounds. Week 1 was tough.  I mean it was tough.  But we kept going!   Week 2 was a bit easier as was week 3.  In week 4 I remember saying to one of the trainers that it seemed to be easier already & his response was "It's not easier, you're just getting better at it..." and that became my new mantra.  I'm getting better at it.  I'm pushing harder.  I'm doing more with each exercise.  I'm not giving up because I have a goal in mind & that goal is to live and be healthy enough to enjoy watching my grandchildren grow up! Week 4, 5 & 6 were much the same.  The workouts were real.  They were intense!  But...I kept getting better at it. I finished.  I hit my challenge goal and much, much more. Today, 6 weeks to the day after my first workout my BP and resting heart rate are both in the normal range.  Not just barely either.  I'm well within the normal range.  My final weigh in was 176.6 pounds.  22.8 pounds of fat lost & a 4% increase in total muscle mass!!!  Amazing results. I'm not here to sell the program but if you are in a situation where you need a change then I think you should give it a shot.  Don't give up.  Just keep pushing & get better at it every single day! To Jaz, Lou & the entire staff, a great big HEARTFELT THANK YOU!!!!  Seriously, pun intended but thank you from the depths of my heart. read more

So far I like the camp, just the fact that is too much money to join a challenge and you won't get your money back if you dont loose the weight expected. Also that if you are not close to your weight according to your height you will have to loose those extra pounds besides the 20 pounds of the challenge and they dont mention that in the orientation that's after you sign the papers which is Off!!! Overall Workouts are very good, I really enjoy the afternoon camp. I really hope I can loose 20 lbs and get my cash back! read more

For every negative , you are supposed to give three positives. I simply cannot do that, but I will start with positives: The space really does feel inclusive, no matter your fitness level. Trainer Michelle is great and I enjoined her classes. But, there is everything else, and that is exclusively tied to the owner who is on-site. I understand business owners must be cognizant of the bottom line, but that does not mean every class needs to be an infomercial. The initial "orientation" is a high pressured sales pitch. It speaks nothing to your fitness goals, but rather only to prices to join, but only if "you act now!" If you can get past that, every class is a sales pitch. The Boot Camp is presented as a limited time only event that is "filling up fast!" It requires you to also dedicate your social media to do all of the advertising for for them. The "nutritional guidance" is a plan that even us with extreme will-power find ridiculous and my person physician advised was not sound. The owner is quick to point out the "nutritional plan" may not be enough, and purchasing a number of the supplements they have is really the only way you will be successful. Once you are in class, the last 5 minutes during cool down, no matter the trainer, is spent trying to sell you supplements, or encouraging you to bring friends for "limited time!" programs. Think pyramid scam. You schedule thru the Mind Body App, and if you have to miss class, for whatever reason, you are charged $15 per class if you do not cancel in time. That may be a legit practice, but they have zero tolerance for grace, even if the class is not full. My card (which they insist must be on file) was charged several times for things I did not purchase, and It was a huge ordeal for them to reverse the charges. You will receive constant spam texts from the gym, which are clearly not specific, or even relevant, to you. Unless hard sales pitches, and ongoing pressure to buy supplements and merch are an important part of your personal workout experience, find another gym. read more

The Camp TC is great! Went here for about a year when I first moved to Austin. It was great! Supportive staff, great trainers, and good products. I love how the gym really creates a community atmosphere. People are encouraged and supported to meet their goals but also challenged to work hard. I joined because my best friend was there and we made other friends there. We were really all in it together! They also host a family/friend invite on the first Saturday of each month which was always fun! My only suggestion would be to have their flooring cleaned more often (so much sweat on that floor that requires members to lay down a lot), equipment could be updated and their membership prices were steep (more deals would be awesome). Overall, it's a great environment and wish I had something like this closer to where I live! read more

The camp transformation has definitely transformed my lifestyle. The staff are awesome the workouts are fun. It has woken the beast in me, I took upon two challenges; the 20lbs and 5% body fat. I entered the camp dedicated and motivated to make a change to reach my goal. Yes, the 12 weeks were hard especially around thanksgiving. That's when discipline comes in and you have to check yourself because nobody else is gonna do it but you. The meal plan works if you really #FTDI. Do your homework, don't procrastinate, believe me it will go a lot smoother than doing double and triple rounds, unless you're a beast like me haha. So first off I love The Camp Transformation Center! I've never met a group of more supportive, motivated and hard working people in all my years of trying new gyms and diets. I have been working my butt off following my diet and putting in the tone at the gym. The 20lb challenge is what got me in the door and I love how they spell it out for you and there are not any hidden parts about this whole journey. I've got a clear direction of my path, my goals and I'm pushing for my goal weight and then some. The owners and coaches are all extremely nice, welcoming and take time to answer questions, explain the exercises and give you the proper amount of motivation to get through your workout. I've been here two weeks and I actually look forward to my next workout everyday. Excited about my first week weight loss and to see my results. read more

When I first decided to make a huge lifestyle change, I wasn't sure where to begin. I knew I had to eat better and workout. I was referred to the Camp and decided to give it a shot. I immediately knew this was where my journey began. All of the trainers were very attentive and pushed you to go the extra mile. Within the first week, I felt so much better and could already see the inches fading. By week 4, I was down 20lbs. I decided to join their Elite training with Coach King because the idea of weight lifting has always interested me. His fitness expertise and drive to help/see others succeed is unlike any I've ever experienced! I am so happy I found TC. #StayFitDontQuit read more

This challenge was a total success! I have learned that I can control my cravings and eat clean, I can be better at exercising, and I actually can drink more than a gallon of water a day with no problem. The only obstacle I came across was the additional week that everything was shut down in Austin due to the snowstorm, and I could not workout at the Camp. But other than that, I enjoyed the process, and I can see some good results in me! Thanks the Camp for pushing me into this new routine and healthy lifestyle! read more

Come see what your missing! I encourage you to take control of your life & allow this program to help you. Why can you only get one of you.

After years and years of yo-yoing on diets and different forms of exercise, I finally made my way to the Camp. Though hesitant at first (I mean, who wouldn't be when it comes to dropping 500 dollars?), I could not be happier with my decision to finally, truly invest in myself. It is abundantly clear to me that the trainers and employees at the Camp Round Rock genuinely care about their members and challengers, as I was greeted by name and rooted for on the sidelines by every single one of them! Not to mention, I had a blast with every workout, challenging myself every step of the way! In my first six weeks at the camp, I lost 20.4 pounds, and I could not be more excited to hop into my second challenge. There's no more "I'll start tomorrow" for this gal, we're starting today, baby! read more

The Camp Transformation Center in Round Rock first 6 week challenge really pushed me mentally and physically. After the first 6 week challenge I am down 20.5lbs and I am not done yet! This is a total lifestyle change and the struggle is real. But with the support of The Camp Staff, they always encouraged me and reminded me that this is MY journey and I need to take the responsibility of my body and my life. I have struggled for years with yo yo diets and different exercise programs, my weight was up and down and never consistently going down. The camp's program is so straight forward and easy to follow. FTDI. It's no miracle weight loss plan, no crazy diets, it's a simplified meal and exercise plan to WORKS if you follow it! It was a great experience and really awesome to connect with member's that have the same struggles as you and to watch each other progress physically and slim down together is great. They are my AFF (awesome fit family). The friends I made there KNOW your struggles, because they have the same ones. You encourage each other when you're struggling with a workout. You share meal ideas when you are struggling with changing up the diet. EVERYONE wants to see EVERYONE succeed and it's great to be around so many people that have the same goals! #getfitdontquit I am looking forward to my next 6 week challenge and to kiss another 20lb goodbye!! I can't say enough good things about The Camp. I was diagnosed with diabetes two years ago at the age of 26. And in just 6 weeks, I have turned my life around! Prior to TC my fasting blood sugar was 216, and on my last day of the challenge, I had a doctors appointment to go over my labs. Fasting blood sugar? 97. My A1C was down from 7.2 to 6.7 (the goal for me is 6.5)--this is huge!! All my lab results are now "in range" except for my A1C, which I will get down in no time. Also, all of these numbers were results of diet and exercise alone. Due to the diabetes, I used to be sluggish on most days...I now have more energy than I know what to do with. I work out 2 times a day now (because I want to, not because I have to). I love the trainers, I love the community, the support and I LOVE THE RESULTS!!! The best investment I have ever made. read more

10\23\17 Not sure if there is anything left to say about how amazing this camp is. I went in sceptical. I knew this is what I needed, but was unsure if I wanted to work this hard. This camp gives you a straight forward plan. If you stick to it from start to finish you will be amazed. There are Ups and downs Because You Have to Fight The Big Person In you. You have To FIght Your Cravings And Doubts. The staff is amazing. Never Seen Negative Energy. Everyone Is So Positive And excited To See You do outstanding Work. I Do The A.M. Class And The Trainer has Always Pushed Me And Encouraged Me to Keep Going. All Of Our Trainers Are Great and Change Up The Class so We can continue To Change Our Bodies. My Journey Started In January. I set Goals and Wrote Them Down. I Just Didnt Know How Exactly To Achieve Them. I Worked Out And Ate Right A Few Times a Week. Had A Little Success, but Always Back Tracked. Late March I Saw The Camp On Facebook. Set Up A meeting and Cancelled It. Set Up A second One And went to it. The energy I Felt had me ready to Start. I Started The Camp In Mid April And I am happy TO say I have shed 94 pounds. I have one more challenge left to hit the camps goal. I have already started researching how to accomplish my next goals of adding extra muscle. This has been a wonderful adventure so far. I am not done, but very close. If you are ready and need a guide this is a wonderful place. 9/4/17 Just completed my 3rd challenge and by far this one was a challenge. I put in the hard work and tried to stay 100% FTDI. This program has helped shape my mind each time around. I don't think doing 1 challenge would have kept me from going backwards. Weight loss is a mental struggle and you have to be mentally ready to conquer the demands. I have been over weight majority of my life and this challenge has got me to reach my mini goals. I am now under 200 and I have lost over 60 pounds. I set some goals early in the year, but didnt have a plan to get to them. I'm so excited to see what more I can do. I enjoy trying on clothes to see what fits now and toss the clothes that no longer fit me. My wardrobe might be 75% workout clothes but that's okay. I workout at least twice a day. Down 73.8 pounds and I would like to drop 55 more. The Transformation Camp and the Trainers are #1 in my book. 7/17/17 challenge #2 was not easy. I pushed hard and did It, 22.6 down 49.1 total after 12 weeks. I have never been so excited to see results and I feel amazing. I have so much support around me and that helps with any self doubt that I might get. This has been an amazing experience. I have stayed accountable for what I am doing physically and what I am eating. Weekly I log my weight and inches. I want this to be a lifestyle change and not just for right now. I knew weight loss was a mental challenge and I was ready. I wasn't sure how I wanted to accomplish my goals, but The Camp came to town right in town. I don't ever want to look back unless it's to see how far I have come. I Hope anyone that is thinking of a life style change will consider this camp. The trainers, workers and Directors really are great they make this camp successful. If they were not supportive, understanding and motivating this would be hard for everyone. I have never seen a group of people come together to make such an impact or so many lives. read more

The Camp Transformation Center - Challenge #3 with The Camp - Boot Camps Near Me - Round Rock, Texas

Taking part of this challenge has been the best decision I've made for myself in a while! It has been a long, hard 6 weeks but so worth it in the end to know you've accomplished your goal and pushed yourself to that finish line. I am so proud and happy with my results especially being that I'm 3 months postpartum! Although I still have a ways to go I feel great both physically and mentally. It wasn't easy it was definitely a challenge but I've learned so much about my body and how far I can push myself and that in the end is very rewarding. I 10/10 recommend The Camp to anyone no matter what point you are in your life. Being healthy only benefits your life and you won't regret it! read more

First go look at my tik tok I have a whole story time there and second If I could give this place zero stars I would I used to respect the hell out of this place. I lost a little bit of weight but then ended up gaining it back, spent so much money and then realize I don't like it there because it's toxic. One of the staff members was great and then changed because they got engaged and these two couples made the place so toxic and made me and my family member feel unwelcome and felt like they could turn anybody against us. Well I held back so much not to say anything because I respect the owners and I respected the staff but now it's time to vent and say what I have to say, first of all it's way too expensive. Second of all the staff has favorites, and they definitely show their favorites, especially taking sides and not hearing the other person side of the story and I'm gonna speak on the closest person I was with their. They wanted to go back to the camp and decided to ask the owner, but basically the owner turn them down because they had an old relationship with a staff member and that staff members fiancé doesn't like this person and everybody at the camp doesn't know the truth about the staff member, and they even threatened this person before when that person didn't even cause any problems, it was the staff member and the staff members fiancé and I can put screenshots to, but I wouldn't waste your money on this place they used to be so good so friendly and just turned sour. Don't waste your time read more

All I'm going to say is, it starts off great in the beginning everyone is nice and you make a lot of friends. The challenges do work but it's way to expensive and if you don't keep up with what you lose you will gain it all back, now the most problems in the gym is the staff, not necessarily the trainers but the owners. The owners have a lot of favorites in the gym and with them having favorites they make you feel like you don't belong. I left months ago because I never felt welcomed and just herd a lot of unprofessional comments coming from members and owners. The trainers are great love them all, you really do good workouts but I can't be hearing things that are just childish and just straight up stupid. I do also feel like other members do feel like the owners have favoritism especially if you are on jas strength team or Mack's there's so much more I can say but I'll spare the gym read more

When you walk into The Camp you walk in expecting the same ol' same ol' gym space... but what you quickly find out during your consultation is that it is soo much more than that! I signed up for the 20lbs in 6 week challenge and I've had nothing but a great experience. Amir, the current director, is fantastic with us challengers and regular members. As for the trainers, I have a favorite trainer, Leroy. He's got lots of experience and each of his workouts are well thought out. Safety and correct form are his priorities so that we get maximum results for our efforts while not injuring ourselves. His experience definately evident in his classes. He is probably the one reason I've hit my weight goal and will consider becoming a regular member once I complete my challenges. I am not the biggest fan of one of the other trainers. I'll say this, my favorite trainer holds the 5am and 6am classes, the ones i prefer to attend. On days that i can't attend the early classes, I tend to skip the evening class and double up later with the early classes. I would recommend the camp to anyone who is ready to commit to a life style change. I love the challenge, the workouts, and the positive energy of the group I workout with. The meal plan (FTDI) will be your biggest challenge, trust me...but once you get used to eating clean, your body will thank you for it! read more

Wow. The 6 weeks have finally came to an end. It was very challenging, and put my determination to the ultimate test. It was an amazing journey to be apart of because I feel actually accomplished. I was 211 at the beginning of last year, and was pretty active, then Covid hit and everything went down hill. I don't think I actually noticed how much weight I was gaining because of the whole situation we were in. I was tired all the time, had no energy for anything and just wanted to eat. Then one day I was just tired of feeling useless. I told my girlfriend we both need to do this challenge for our own sake. We went to sign up and April 19th was the start our challenge. I weighed in at 238 meaning I gained a whole 27 pounds since Covid started and I was so sad to see the scale. However Through ups and downs and times of wanting to quit I kept going because we knew how much I wanted to lose the weight. Every weigh in I pushed for wanting to lose more. Then May 28th was our final weigh in. I can proudly say I am at my lightest weight I've ever been. I'm now a whopping 208 pounds, losing 30.1 lbs. I couldn't have gotten to this point without the camp, the support system from everyone is what drove me to get to my goal. And if you want to be apart of a great group of people, JOIN THE CAMP! They're amazing and will help every step. Thank you to everyone who supported me, and I plan to be at the camp for a long time. Keep moving forward read more
