Such a beautiful gym! Lots of open space, turf indoor and outdoor. Machines look new and kept up and the restrooms are always clean. I wish they had more cleaning stations, and water fountains so you don't have to leave your set up to go get your wipes or a water refill they conveniently offer towels that you can grab as you enter. I HIGHLY suggest you do, the gym may be clean but some members aren't keen on wiping down their machines after use! Check out this gym! I started going here when it first opened (as a Premier 24 Hour Fitness), then came back after Covid when Cowboys took over. Needless to say I've seen all the changes (good and bad). As with most "new" gyms everything seems great in the beginning. Equipment is new and well maintained, plentiful group classes with a wide variety of choices, But as usual, after a couple years, classes get cut, equipment starts getting a bit shoddy, with slow repairs, locker rooms are cluttered and dirty, showers are broken and not repaired for months (literally), steam room breaks down almost every 4-6 weeks, and the staff is only interested in selling training programs to new patrons. Sad - but true. Time to move on to the next newest gym, probably Crunch Fitness in N. Round Rock. read more

This place is probably my FGF (favorite gym forever). The gym is spacious with a wide array of cardio equipment, free weights and lifting machines, as well as a long list of amenities. There is a basketball gym for shooting hoops, an indoor pool and hot tub, sauna, steam room, and an outdoor fitness area with weights and a small turf area for active exercise. There's also a recovery area with hydromassage chairs, a red light treatment room, and cryotherapy booth. The small additional cost for unlimited use of these facilities is a huge bargain if you consider what it would cost to get Cryo treatments for example at a local shop. The gym is kept in good condition-equipment is repaired quickly and the locker rooms are very clean. Some of the decor is dated having been converted from a 24 Hour Fitness unit but it's not bad at all. Staff is super friendly and eager to help. Highly recommended. read more

I spend most of my time weight lifting here and it's always a great experience. It can get crowded during the evenings so I generally go during early afternoon or an hour before closing. What I like about this place is that they have lots of machines for working out your major muscle groups ESPECIALLY for your back. Plenty of high row, mid row, pull up bars, and various back other machines. Most of the equipment are well maintained with the exception of some ripped material in a couple. Everyone here is very nice and it's great to see everyone clean after themselves after working out. They have plenty of antibacterial wipes throughout the gym for people to wipe their station down. The price is very reasonable and towel service is included which is a great perk. Compared to the other gyms, this is the most clean and modern gym I've been to. My only nit pik is the men's bathroom. It can get a little smelly because there doesn't seem to be much ventilation. Not much they can do, but maybe install a air freshener machine that sprays from time to time. read more

I used to go to this gym when it was a 24 Hour Fitness location years ago. Most of the facilities remain the same, just with some upgrades to equipment (and they removed the outdoor pool and waterpark, which is kind of sad!) The way I use gyms is probably different than the majority of the visitors to Cowboys Fit, as I am primarily a group fitness fan. After going here a few months, I'm going to say that it feels like the main investment is private training and other customized fitness programs, which they employ a robust sales staff to push. I guess that's how they bring in money. Unfortunately, the group fitness classes (the ones I've experienced, anyway) are kind of lacking, especially compared to other gyms. I go to several in the area, and though this one is more conveniently located for me, I really don't look forward to these classes. The locker room and indoor pool areas are fine -- about how I remembered them from before, with minimal upgrades, if any. I do appreciate the towel service -- that's a big benefit. Overall, I would say if you are primarily a group fitness person, this maybe isn't the gym for you. If you buy into the Cowboys brand and are really into personal training, it's probably a better fit. read more

By far the best gym I have ever gone to. Ever. The equipment is well maintained, the staff are friendly and helpful, it can get crowded but doable, the pool/sauna area is great, and overall it's always a great experience. The clientele is very diverse, meaning old folks with O2, to Instagram girls, to jocks, to fat folks, and skinny folks. Never heard a fight or bad word spoken and most are super friendly. That's not the case in the other gyms I've been to. The mobile IV service is great and I use it regularly. Advisable to make an appointment. They have a big room of add on services such as red light and cryotherapy. Several water massage chairs and compression devices. It's not cheap, but it's well worth it in quality and service. read more

I'm writing this not in anger but in disappointed with humanity. this is a familiar story just the names of the establishment change. I'm 76 years old with chronic pain due to osteoarthritis. I go to Cowboy fit 5 times a week to keep my muscles toned to carry and protect my bones. I've been going to Cowboy for 3 years. last week II had double reconstruction surgery on my feet. know that is will be hard to get me gym membership on hold I called to put it on hold and was told we can't do that with out a Dr. letter. so I hand my surgery and my son took it in to cowboy. The person in charge didn't look at it and I will still be charged 10$ a month for processing fees. long and short wouldn't give me names of manager or GM. if I cancel and want to return the said they will charge me more because I canceled. I'm on social security and go with out so I can-try and stay mobile for a could more years. There is no one there from top to bottom of the food chain that has any intentions of helping you. read more

I have been going to cowboys fit for almost a year. It's the best gym I've been to by far. They have lots of equipment, classes, pool, sauna/steam room and outdoor workout area. Staff are very friendly. They have a kids club which is a major plus so parents can pay each time or monthly for kids to be watched. Lots of fun toys and activities for the kids and the staff that watch the kids are very nice. They have a silver sneakers program so anyone 65+ pays very little to attend. Lots of seniors at the gym in the morning which makes me happy to see. I have been using a personal trainer, Viviana, she is wonderful. She knows what she is doing, corrects my form, tailors my workouts for my goals. There are many other personal trainers here too and I've heard very good things about many of them. read more

Awesome gym which has almost anything you need. Staff is friendly and equipment is top notch. Pool is kept up, as well as wet area (steam and sauna). The outdoor workout area is really cool and has a lot of equipment. The recovery area is extra, but we'll worth it. Gym is so big that even with a lot of people your able to get on equipment. If there were negatives, I would say. Longer hours, they close at 10 and 7 (weekdays and weekends), and although they sell supplements, having a smoothie bar would be great. What a gem (pun intended). My husband and I have been looking for a gym that we felt comfortable attending that has all the amenities. It took us a bit but we found it. Cowboy fit has everything from wide open spaces for free weights, an outdoor area for workout, group classes, a sauna, steam room, lap pool, showers, and childcare. Childcare was a big part of our decision since we have an 8 month old. I know I am leaving out a million amenities but those are the most important ones for us. But upon a closer look the cement floor where the rig with the squat racks is on is uneven, which causes the squat racks to be uneven. There is always machines available, the facility is always clean, and the staff seem to be very courteous and knowledgeable. I also like the fact that they have NFL related programs on the tv's instead of something boring like other gyms. Overall I am seriously considering joining this gym full time. Wow there are just too many good things to say about this gym. TLDR; kind people (both employees and gymgoers), motivating and educating personal training with Natalie, clean, available facilities, and zero issues with cancelling (sadly can't take the gym with me on my move)! I did personal training with Natalie throughout my entire time at Cowboys. I learned so much about weight lifting and nutrition through her. I was always so intimidated by the gym because I only had ever done cardio; Natalie helped me feel comfortable and took the time to properly teach me basic weight lifting movements like deadlifting. I went from barely being able to chest press 10lb dumbbells to being able to bench 50lbs within less than a year. She would push me to do my best but wouldn't let me hurt myself either. Every session was a fun but hardworking time! I can't say enough good things about her. If you are a woman looking to gain muscle; go see Natalie ASAP! I came in last July and went in to see what the place was like. I met with Elise and she gave us a tour then went on to give me a rundown of the pricing and what personal training might cost. I told her I'd think about it and she didn't pressure me on the spot. When I came in the next day, Elise remembered me and helped sign me and my partner up as well as our complimentary personal training that led to my love for weight lifting. Elise is a perfect example of the kind employees working the front desk and sales! The facilities are everything I've ever wanted in a gym. It is always so clean and everyone tends to be courteous and keep it that way! So many machines, weights, and areas of the gym to enjoy. I'm a big fan of the bright lights as I can properly see my form in the big mirrors. I had to cancel my membership due to moving and was worried that I'd have to pay an extra fee or get charged extra. Nope! Super painless. If you're looking for a personal trainer to help you get back into the gym routine I would suggest asking for Natalie!!! I got a training package for 6 months with Natalie and it was 100% worth it! She's the best trainer I've ever had. She was able to modify all the workouts to what i needed to focus on and also what my body could handle, she also helped with nutrition portion to help with weight loss. She works as much as possible with your schedule but she is almost fully booked so I suggest booking in advance! Great gym, very clean! I was there this afternoon to see what they had to offer for amenities and memberships. They wanted me to fill out a waiver just to take a tour. I was fine with giving my name and email but then it asked for phone number, address, date of birth. I asked if it was necessary to finish the info. She said "Yes, just in case you slip and fall or decide to come back and shoot up the place, we'll know where to send the cops." I told her they were paranoid and they will absolutely not be getting my business. I can understand getting all that info upon signing up for a membership but not to just get a tour. I've been a member here since January and so far I love the equipment, the classes and everything this gym has to offer as far as the sauna, pool, jacuzzi, boot camp area and the steam room. However, the lighting in the locker room is dim and immediately sucks the energy out of me when I come to work out. Please get brighter lights in there! Also, the mirrors are horrible. Idk if this is intentional but it literally makes you look 10pounds heavier. We pay too much money for this. You can't see the improvements with your definition. read more

This is a great gym. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the gym is clean. You almost always see someone cleaning. I like they have gym wipes instead of the usual spray bottles and paper towels. The gym is large and open with circuit area and huge indoor pool and hot tub, dry and wet sauna. Plenty of weights, free weights and cardio equipment. The gym also smells fresh. I have memberships at Crunch and Gold's gym as well and this is by far my favorite. This is because the equipment is mostly new, in great shape and lots of variety and most importantly it's a very clean gym. Definitely recommend checking it out. read more
